A Study of Software Optimal Release Time for Based on Superposition NHPP Model (중첩 NHPP 모형에 근거한 소프트웨어 최적방출시기에 관한 연구)

  • Decision problem called an optimal release policies, after testing a software system in development phase and transfer it to the user, is studied. The applied model of release time exploited infinite non-homogeneous Poisson process. This infinite non-homogeneous Poisson process is a model which reflects the possibility of introducing new faults when correcting or modifying the software. The failure life-cycle distribution used superposition which has various intensity, if the system is complicated. Thus, software release policies which minimize a total average software cost of development and maintenance under the constraint of satisfying a software reliability requirement becomes an optimal release policies. In a numerical example, after trend test applied and estimated the parameters using maximum likelihood estimation of inter-failure time data, estimated software optimal release time. Through this study, in terms of superposition model and simply model, the optimal time to using superposition model release the software developer to determine how much could count will help.

Predictions of Local Circulation and Dispersion with Microscale Numerical Model (수치모의를 통한 미세규모 순환과 확산에 대한 예측)

  • The prediction of wind field is very important fact in the radioactive and chemical warfare. In spite of advanced numerical weather prediction modelling and computing technology, the high resolution prediction of wind field is limited by the very high integration costs. In this study we coupled the mesoscale numerical model and microscale diagnostic numerical model with minimized integration costs. This coupled model has not only the ability of prediction of high resolution wind field including complex building but also microscale pollutant diffusion fields. For military operation this system can help making a practical and cost-effective decision in a battle field.

A trajectory prediction of human reach (Reach 동작예측 모델의 개발)

  • A man model is a useful design tool for the evaluation of man machine systems and products. An arm reach trajectory prediction for such a model will be specifically useful to present human activities and, consequently, could increase the accuracy and reality of the evaluation. In this study, a three-dimensional reach trajectory prediction model was developed using an inverse kinematics technique. The upper body was modeled as a four link open kinematic chain with seven degrees of freedom. The Resolved Motion Method used for the robot kinematics problem was used to predict the joint movements. The cost function of the perceived discomfort developed using the central composite design was also used as a performance function. This model predicts the posture by moving the joints to minimize the discomfort on the constraint of the end effector velocity directed to a target point. The results of the pairwise t-test showed that all the joint coordinates except the shoulder joint's showed statistically no differences at .alpha. = 0.01. The reach trajectory prediction model developed in this study was found to accurately simulate human arm reach trajectory and the model will help understand the human arm reach movement.

Genetically Optimized Information Granules-based FIS (유전자적 최적 정보 입자 기반 퍼지 추론 시스템)

  • In this paper, we propose a genetically optimized identification of information granulation(IG)-based fuzzy model. To optimally design the IG-based fuzzy model we exploit a hybrid identification through genetic alrogithms(GAs) and Hard C-Means (HCM) clustering. An initial structure of fuzzy model is identified by determining the number of input, the seleced input variables, the number of membership function, and the conclusion inference type by means of GAs. Granulation of information data with the aid of Hard C-Means(HCM) clustering algorithm help determine the initial paramters of fuzzy model such as the initial apexes of the membership functions and the initial values of polyminial functions being used in the premise and consequence part of the fuzzy rules. And the inital parameters are tuned effectively with the aid of the genetic algorithms and the least square method. And also, we exploite consecutive identification of fuzzy model in case of identification of structure and parameters. Numerical example is included to evaluate the performance of the proposed model.

A Study on the Integration GIS with Hydrodynamic Model (GIS와 해수유동모델의 연계방안 연구)

  • The integration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with the hydrodynamic model was conducted in order to revitalize the use of geographical information and to aid in the understanding of tidal circulation patterns. A 2D finite difference numerical model was used to simulate n tidal circulation in the Suyoung Bay in Busan, Korea. CIS, especially the ArcView S/W is used to input the data of the numerical model, and is also used for the visualization of model outputs on the ground in the loosely coupled method. In this paper, an electronic navigational chart (ENC), which provides more accurate information in the ocean and coastal areas than any other digital information, is used as a base map for this integration. With the help of GIS, the integration can support th understanding of oceanographic information.

  • The government supports the various systems on the premise of life-long education for improving the qualification of its people and supporting the lifelong career system. These systems help the educational activities for every generation from the teens. Each government department supports the learning activities for those who are related. In addition, each government department systemizes the regular education for advancing the performance of civil servant, by obliging a self-directed system to their member as well as by reflecting this educational activities in a promotion. This style of learning is provided not only offline but also online. However, not all necessary educational contents is furnished within the department. It is sometimes necessary to cooperate with the commissioned education and a professional educational institution. This thesis suggests three model systems while comparing one another. This paper suggests three system model. The first model is e-contents open place. The second model is e-contents open place. Finally, the suggest model is mixed form.

  • This paper addresses sliding mode control of the anti-lock braking system (ABS) with a disturbance observer for model uncertainties such as vehicle parameter variation, un-modeled dynamics, and external disturbances. By using a nominal vehicle model, a sliding mode controller is designed to achieve a desired wheel slip ratio for ABS control. To compensate the model uncertainties, a disturbance observer is introduced with the help of a transfer function of a hydraulic brake dynamics. A proposed sliding mode controller with a disturbance observer is evaluated through simulations for model uncertainties. The simulation results show that the disturbance observer can enhance performances of sliding mode control for ABS.

  • Supply Chain Management (SCM) system is a critical investment that can affect the competitiveness and performance of a company. Selection of a right SCM system is one of the critical issues. This paper presents the characteristic factors of SCM system and a Fuzzy AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) based decision-making model for SCM system evaluation and selection. This study focuses on quantitative factors, applying the fuzzy concept to various evaluative factors. The proposed model can systematically construct the objectives of SCM system selection to achieve the business goals. A empirical example demonstrates the feasibility of the proposed model and the model can help a company to make better decision-making in the SCM system selection problem.

Building a Fuzzy Model with Transparent Membership Functions through Constrained Evolutionary Optimization

  • In this paper, a new evolutionary scheme to design a TSK fuzzy model from relevant data is proposed. The identification of the antecedent rule parameters is performed via the evolutionary algorithm with the unique fitness function and the various evolutionary operators, while the identification of the consequent parameters is done using the least square method. The occurrence of the multiple overlapping membership functions, which is a typical feature of unconstrained optimization, is resolved with the help of the proposed fitness function. The proposed algorithm can generate a fuzzy model with transparent membership functions. Through simulations on various problems, the proposed algorithm found a TSK fuzzy model with better accuracy than those found in previous works with transparent partition of input space.

Modelling of a Biomolecular Processing for the Production and Secretion of Monoclounal Antibody (단일콜론항체 생산 및 분비에 대한 생물분자공정의 모델링)

  • To analyze the unique aspects of biomolecular processing for monoclonal antibody (MAb) production and secretion, the simple working model based on 3-compartment (endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, and extracellular medium) was developed. Based on in vitro MAb assembly experimental results, the kinetic model for MAb assembly in the endoplasmic reticulumn was proposed. The dynamics of MAb assembly and secretion was simulated using methematica program. According to the simulation results, the proposed 3-compartment model provides an efficient means to predict the specific MAb productivity as well as intracompartmental concentrations of MAb in endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, and extracellular compartment model. In vivo profiles of MAb intermediates gave good agreements with the simulation profiles predicted by the intracellular compartment model. Furthermore, results of such analysis can help in directing the control strategy for optimum biomolecular processing in a mammalian cell culture system.
