상권선 스위칭방식에 따른 SRM의 특성해석 (Characteristic Analysis according to Switching Method in SRM)

  • Switched Reluctance Motor(SRM) has been researched for its superior characteristics. The SRM drive system has simple mechanical and magnetic structure, and it requires simple power electronic drive circuit. It is to be compatible to wide range adjustable speed drive system because it has the same driving characteristics of DC series motor's, easy control principle and high efficiency characteristics. In this paper, 2 types of excitation strategy are researched. Conventional 1-phase excitation and 2-phase excitation method are compared and tested. Though 1-phase excitation method is robust and has high performance, 2-phase excitation method has some merit in appling power device. Some simulation and test results are foaled with some analysis.

  • In this paper, ferrite-rubber composite has been studied in order to apply to RF-A-PF in a super wideband electromagnetic absorber in RF-A-PF type, which can be used for a general purpose anechoic chamber. $Ni_x - Mn_0.1 - Zn_{(1-x-0.1)}ㆍFe_2O_4$ ferrite powder has been fabricated, then, using this, 〔$Ni_x - Mn_0.1 - Zn_{(1-x-0.1)}ㆍFe_2O_4$〕-Rubber composite for RF-layer in the RF-A-PF type absorber has been fabricated and it's characteristics have been analyzed. As a result, it has been clearly shown that the 〔$Ni_x - Mn_0.1 - Zn_{(1-x-0.1)}ㆍFe_2O_4$〕-Rubber composite has excellent electromagnetic wave absorbing properties.

  • This paper describes the characteristics of the complex isotropic ferrite-rubber composite for a super wideband electromagnetic absorber in RP-A-PF type, which can be used for an anechoic chamber, wall material to prevent TV ghost, etc. The $Ni_x-A_{0.1}-ZN_{(1-x0.1)}$. $Fe{_2}O_4$ ferrite powder has been fabricated. Using this, then, [$Ni_x-A_{0.1}-ZN_{(1-x0.1)}$. $Fe{_2}O_4$]-Rubber composite for RF-layer in the RF-A-PF type absorber has been fabricated and it's characteristics has been analyzed. As a result, it has been shown that the [$Ni_x-A_{0.1}-ZN_{(1-x0.1)}$. $Fe{_2}O_4$].Rubber composite has excellent electromagnetic wave absorbing properties.

  • In this paper, inductive coupled LC balun has been desi gned and simulated for embedding into an organic packaging substrate. Inductive coupling method was applied to obtain wide band characteristics, and high dielectric film was utilized to reduce a size of the balun. The proposed balun has a novel scheme which consists of three embedded LC resonators with inductive coupling. This proposed balun has relatively small inductance and capacitance values which can be easily embedded into the organic packaging substrate. Furthermore, it has a good phase imbalance characteristic. The simulated results of proposed balun are an insertion loss of 1.2 dB, a return loss of 10 dB, a phase imbalance of 1 degree at frequency bandwidth of 750 MHz ranged from 1.8 GHz to 2.55 GHz, respectively. This balun has an area of $2mm{\tims}3.5mm{\times}0.66mm$ (height).

  • A new flexible quadridentate ligand, N,N'-dimethylethylenediamine-N,N'-di-${\alpha}$-propionic acid (dmedpa) has been synthesized, and diammine and ethylenediamine cobalt(III) complexes of dmedpa, $[Co(dmedpa)(NH_3)_2]^+$ and $[Co(dmedpa(en)]^+,$ have been prepared. Only s-cis isomer has been yielede. A known N,N'-dimethylethylediamine-N,N'-diacetic acid (dmedda) has also been prepared. Dichloro cobalt(III) complexes of both dmedda and dmedpa have been prepared. Only the s-cis isomer has been yielded in the $[Co(dmedda)Cl_2]^-$ complex, while only the uns-cis isomer has been obtained for the $[Co(dmedpa)Cl_2]^-$ complex.

A Study on the Linetic Energy of the Laser-Ablated Cation Using Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry

  • The initial kinetic energy of laser-ablated Zn cation has been investigated via time-of-flight mass spectrometry. The flight times of the ions have been measured with a high voltage pulse on the extract electrode in the mass spectrometer, which has been delayed from the laser pulse. The time-of-flight equation including the initial kinetic energy term of the ion has been derived for the mass spectrometer. The optimum value of the initial kinetic energy has been extracted by fitting the measured flight times into the time-of-flight equation. The initial kinetic energy of the ions generated by Nd:YAG laser (532 nm) at the power density of 5 × 107 W/cm2 has been determined to be 22-44 kJ/mol.

Synthesis and Characterization of SnO2 Thin Films Deposited by Plasma Enhanced Atomic Layer Deposition Using SnCl4 Precursor and Oxygen Plasma

  • Tin dioxide (SnO2) thin film is one of the most important n-type semiconducting materials having a high transparency and chemical stability. Due to their favorable properties, it has been widely used as a base materials in the transparent conducting substrates, gas sensors, and other various electronic applications. Up to now, SnO2 thin film has been extensively studied by a various deposition techniques such as RF magnetron sputtering, sol-gel process, a solution process, pulsed laser deposition (PLD), chemical vapor deposition (CVD), and atomic layer deposition (ALD) [1-6]. Among them, ALD or plasma-enhanced ALD (PEALD) has recently been focused in diverse applications due to its inherent capability for nanotechnologies. SnO2 thin films can be prepared by ALD or PEALD using halide precursors or using various metal-organic (MO) precursors. In the literature, there are many reports on the ALD and PEALD processes for depositing SnO2 thin films using MO precursors [7-8]. However, only ALD-SnO2 processes has been reported for halide precursors and PEALD-SnO2 process has not been reported yet. Herein, therefore, we report the first PEALD process of SnO2 thin films using SnCl4 and oxygen plasma. In this work, the growth kinetics of PEALD-SnO2 as well as their physical and chemical properties were systemically investigated. Moreover, some promising applications of this process will be shown at the end of presentation.

Biosynthesis of L-Azetidine-2-Carboxylic Acid In Actinoplanes ferrugineus

  • L-Azetidine-2-carboxylic acid (A-2-C), a four-membered cyclic imino acid has been identified in certain plants, and the microorganism Actinoplanes ferrugineus. The imino acid A-2-C has a physiological significance as an antgaonist of proline during peptide synthesis. The biosynthetic mechanism for the formation of A-2-C has not been studied in any detail. By using various amino acids such as methionine and S-adenosyl-L-methionine labeled with deuterium or carbon-14, the details of the biosynthetic pathway and a possible mechanism for the formation of L-A-2-C in .4. ferrugineus have been unravelled, Both in vivo and in vitro experimental results suggest the biosynthesis of L-A-2-C is mediated by a confactor containing a carbonyl group, probably pyridoxal Phosphate. S-Adenosyl-L-methionine, which seems to be the direct biosynthetic substrate, has undergone a f-displacement by an ${\alpha}$-amino group of the amino acid portion of the substrate S-adenosyl-L-methionine potentially via a vinylglycine intermediate. The overall stereochemical events at the ${\beta}$-carbon of the substrate have been shown to inversion of configuration. The overall stereochemical events at the -position of the sub- strate have also been shown to occur with inversion of configuration. The ${\beta}$, ${\gamma}$-elimination reaction of the substrate seems to follow a cisoidal-type mechanism and the addition portion of the reaction a transoidal-type mechanism . The assignment of the proton NMR of A-2-C has been deduced by apply- ing NOE difference experiments, Gd(III) line-broadening experiments and 2D-NOESY experiments of regio-and stereospecificially deuterated A-2-C's.

$TiO_2$광촉매를 이용한 Trichloroethylene(TCE)의 광분해 반응 (The Photocatalytic Decomposition of Trichloroethylene(TCE) with $TiO_2$)

  • Trichloroethvlene(TCE)의 수용액 내에서 광분해 반응을 연구하였다. 광촉매 TiO₂의 표면특성은 XRD, SEM 및 BET를 사용하여 선행연구[23]에서 고찰하였으며 Aldrich TiO₂는 100% anatase, Degussa 에서 제조한 P25-TiO₂는 75% anatase와 25% rutile의 혼합구조(structure)를 가짐을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 TCE 분해반응의 최적조건을 선정하기 위하여 광촉매의 사용량, 분해반응시 혼합용액의 순환유속, TCE의 초기농도 및 광촉매 TiO₂의 구조가 광분해 반응에 미치는 영향을 자세히 고찰하였다. 실험결과 증류수 1 L를 기준으로 무게비 0.1 wt%의 광촉매를 사용하여 증류수와 TCE의 혼합용액을 200 cc/min로 순환시켰을 때 분해활성이 가장 좋음을 알 수 있었으며 일반적으로 anatase 구조가 rutile구조를 가진 광촉매 보다 높은 활성을 보였다. 특히 anatase와 rutile의 혼합구조를 가진 Degussa P25-TiO₂가 가장 좋은 활성을 보였으며 이는 작은 입자크기와 큰 비표면적에 기인한 결과로 보인다.

습식산화법을 이용한 제강분진 내 아연회수에 관한 연구 (The Study of Hydrometallurgical Process for Recovery of Zinc from Electric Arc Furnace Dust)

  • In this study the optimum conditions for recovery of valuable metal in Electric Arc Furnace Dusts were investigated. 2M of $H_2SO_4$, 1~5 of solid/liquid ratio, 0~180 min of leaching time has been established for leaching condition, and for electrowinning, each of Pt, C, Zn, Pb anode and Zn, Cu cathode was compared respectively at pH 2, 4 and 6. The result of elemental analysis of Zn crystal, a lagre quantity of Fe and H has been observed with Zn and other heavy metal, therefore, impurities removing process would be requir for enhancing purity of Zn. As the result, about 60% of Zn has been recovered under condition of 2 M of $H_2SO_4$, 1:2 of S/L ratio at 120 min, and Pt or Pb for anode, Zn for cathode has been shown the highest efficiency of electrowinning at pH 6.
