  • We have calculated 2448 interstellar cloud models to investigate the formation and destruction of high rotational level $H_2$ according to the combinations of five physical conditions: the input UV intensity, the $H_2$ column density, cloud temperature, total density, and the $H_2$ formation rate efficiency. The models include the populations of all the accessible states of $H_2$ with the rotational quantum number J < 16 as a function of depth through the model clouds, and assume that the abundance of $H_2$ is in a steady state governed primarily by the rate of formation on the grain surfaces and the rates of destruction by spontaneous fluorescent dissociation following absorption in the Lyman and Werner band systems. The high rotational levels J = 4 and J = 5 are both populated by direct formation into these levels of newly created molecules, and by pumping from J = 0 and J = 1, respectively The model results show that the high rotational level ratio N(4)/N(0) is proportional to the incident UV intensity, and is inversely proportional to the $H_2$ molecular fraction, as predicted in theory.

  • In this paper, a cyber space for multimedia conference is designed and implemented using gatekeeper and web service which satisfies H.323 standards. The implemented gatekeeper manages a registration and a call control for H.323 video conference terminals. The implemented gate-keeper can manage registered users efficiently with directory services using web service. Also, software maintenance of video conference system is established by service provider instead of users using control download on web. finally, we present the practical use of video conference through various applications of directory services.

  • Let $\mathcal{F}(B)$ be the Fresnel class on an abstract Wiener space (B, H, ${\omega}$) which consists of functionals F of the form : $$F(x)={\int}_H\;{\exp}\{i(h,x)^{\sim}\}df(h),\;x{\in}B$$ where $({\cdot}{\cdot})^{\sim}$ is a stochastic inner product between H and B, and $f$ is in $\mathcal{M}(H)$, the space of all complex-valued countably additive Borel measures on H. We introduce the concepts of an $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transform ($1{\leq}p{\leq}2$) and a convolution product on $\mathcal{F}(B)$ and verify the existence of the $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transforms for functionls in $\mathcal{F}(B)$. Moreover, we verify that the Fresnel class $\mathcal{F}(B)$ is closed under the $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transform and the convolution product, respectively. And we investigate some interesting properties for the $n$-repeated $L_p$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transform on $\mathcal{F}(B)$. Finally, we show that several results in [9] come from our results in Section 3.

  • We investigate decaying magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) turbulence by including the effects of expansion and collapse of the background medium. The problem has two time scales, the eddy turn-over time($t_{eddy}$) and the expansion/collapse time scale(${\tau}_H$). The turbulence is expected to behave differently in two regimes of $t_{eddy}$ < ${\tau}_H$ and $t_{eddy}$ > ${\tau}_H$. For instance, for $t_{eddy}$ < ${\tau}_H$, the turbulence would decay more or less as in a static medium. On the other hand, for $t_{eddy}$ > ${\tau}_H$, the effects of expansion and collapse would be dominant. We examine the properties of turbulence in the regimes of $t_{eddy}$ < ${\tau}_H$ and $t_{eddy}$ > ${\tau}_H$. Based on it, we derive a scaling for the time evolution of flow velocity and magnetic field.

  • Conventional variable-speed Induction motor drives with inverters are subject to detrimental effect of zero-sequence voltages, such a shaft voltage and bearing current. This paper presents a way of the suppression of the zero-sequence components in multilevel H-bridge inverters. First examined Is the inherent zero-sequence characteristic of the conventional subharmonic PW method. Then it is shown that the zero-sequence voltage can be eliminated with proper -selection of switching states with space vector modulation. Although this method alone restricts the linear modulation range of control, a combination of the proposed method and the minimum switching method appears to be effective in suppressing the zero-sequence voltage to minimum level while maintaining the linear control range.

  • In this research, the organic tenside R11OSO3- with long alkyl-chain was synthesized, and the intercalationscomplexes fo montmorillonite were formed by the substitution of metallic cation in the montmorilonite by the synthesized organic tenside in following two methods, and the behaviors of the tenside R11OSO3- in the interlamellar space of montmorillonite were studied udner various conditions: 1) In order to protonize the sulfate group of R11OSO3-, the H3O-Montomorillonite, which acts as acid, was synthesized. And then, the organic tenside was intercalated in the interlamellar space of this H3O-Montomorillonite. And thus, the intercalations-complex of R11S-H3O-Montomorillonite was formed. The basal spacing obtained was about 33.84$\AA$. 2) The betaine compound R11OSO3- as a neutral molecule was direct intercalated in the interlamellar space of Na-Montmorillonite under water, and the intercalations-complexes of R11S-H2O-Montmorillonite was synthesized. In this case, the based spacing of bout 23.62$\AA$ was obtained.

  • The space $BV^2_{\alpha}(I)$ of all the real functions defined on interval $I=[a,b]{\subset}\mathbb{R}$, which are of bounded second ${\alpha}$-variation (in the sense De la Vall$\acute{e}$ Poussin) on I forms a Banach space. In this space we define an operator of substitution H generated by a function $h:I{\times}\mathbb{R}{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}$, and prove, in particular, that if H maps $BV^2_{\alpha}(I)$ into itself and is globally Lipschitz or uniformly continuous, then h is an affine function with respect to the second variable.

  • This paper concerns closed hypersurfaces of dimension $n{\geq}2$ in the hyperbolic space ${\mathbb{H}}_{\kappa}^{n+1}$ of constant sectional curvature evolving in direction of its normal vector, where the speed equals a power ${\beta}{\geq}1$ of the mean curvature. The main result is that if the initial closed, weakly h-convex hypersurface satisfies that the ratio of the biggest and smallest principal curvature at everywhere is close enough to 1, depending only on n and ${\beta}$, then under the flow this is maintained, there exists a unique, smooth solution of the flow which converges to a single point in ${\mathbb{H}}_{\kappa}^{n+1}$ in a maximal finite time, and when rescaling appropriately, the evolving hypersurfaces exponential convergence to a unit geodesic sphere of ${\mathbb{H}}_{\kappa}^{n+1}$.

  • Applications of the classical Knaster-Kuratowski-Mazurkiewicz (si-mply, KKM) theorem and the fixed point theory of multifunctions defined on convex subsets of topological vector spaces have been greatly improved by adopting the concept of convex spaces due to Lassonde [L1]. In this direction, the first author [P5] found that certain coincidence theorems on a large class of composites of upper semicontinuous multifunctions imply many fundamental results in the KKM theory.
