RAW 264.7 대식세포에서 쑥부쟁이 추출물의 항산화 및 항염증 효능에 관한 연구 (Antioxidant and Anti-inflammatory Effects of Ethanol Extract of Aster yomena in RAW 264.7 Macrophages)

  • 쑥부쟁이는 국화과에 속하는 다년생 식물로서 다양한 질병의 예방 및 치료에 오랫동안 사용되어 왔다. 최근 연구에서 쑥부쟁이 잎 추출물이 항산화 및 항염증 효과가 있는 것으로 알려져 있지만, 정확한 효능 평가에 관한 연구는 여전히 미비한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 RAW 264.7 대식세포에서 쑥부쟁이 잎 에탄올 추출물(EEAY)의 항산화 효능이 항염증 효능과 연관이 있는지의 여부를 조사하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 의하면, EEAY는 $H_2O_2$ 처리에 의한 RAW 264.7 세포의 세포 독성을 유의적으로 억제시켰으며, 이는 Nrf2 및 HO-1의 발현 증가와 관련이 있음을 보여 주었다. 또한 EEAY는 $H_2O_2$에 의한 apoptosis를 유의적으로 억제하였으며, 이는 caspase-3의 활성 억제에 따른 PARP의 분해 차단과 연관성이 있었다. 그리고 EEAY는 대표적인 항 염증성 사이토카인인 IL-10의 발현 및 생산을 증가시켰으며, 이는 전사 및 번역 수준에서의 TLR-4 및 Myd88 발현 증가와 관련이 있었다. 아울러 EEAY는 LPS에 의한 염증성 매개인자인 NO의 생성 증가를 현저히 억제하였으며, EEAY에 의한 NO 생성의 억제 효과는 HO-1 유도제인 hemin에 의해 더욱 증가되었다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과는 EEAY에 의한 산화적 및 염증성 스트레스에 대한 RAW 264.7 대식세포의 보호 효과에 최소한 Nrf2/HO-1 신호 경로의 활성화가 관여할 가능성을 보여주었다.

전라남도 구례군에 서식하는 멸종위기 야생생물 II급 남생이의 서식지 적합성 모델 개발 (Habitat Suitability Models of Endangered Wildlife Class II Mauremys reevesii in Gurye-gun, the Republic of Korea)

  • 본 연구는 남생이의 출현에 영향을 주는 환경변수를 파악하고 남생이와 환경변수 간의 관계를 파악하기 위해 전라남도 구례군의 주요 저수지에서 남생이 생태 특성을 고려한 17개의 환경변수를 선정하여 서식지 환경 조사를 실시하고, 서식지와 비서식지의 조사 결과를 통계 분석하였다. 남생이의 서식지 적합성 모델을 개발한 결과, 변수 예측값은 logit (p) = -3.68 + (0.17 × 낙엽층두께) + (1.55 × 육상아교목층 피도량) + (0.71 × 육상초본층 피도량) + (0.96 × 수상초본층 피도량)으로 산출되었다. 남생이는 낙엽층두께가 두꺼울수록, 육상교목층 피도량, 육상관목층 피도량, 수상초본층 피도량이 높을수록 출현확률이 높아지는 것으로 파악되었다. 남생이의 출현에 영향을 주는 이러한 환경요인에 대한 정보는 추후 남생이 분포조사 시 도움이 되며, 남생이의 실질적인 서식지 보전을 위해 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

지리산 천왕봉 일대의 저서무척추동물 군집분석 및 생물학적 수질평가 (Analysis of Benthic Macroinvertebrate Community and Biological Estimation of Water Quality at Creeks in the Cheonwang-bong of National Park of Mt. Jiri and Its Nearby Area)

  • Analysis of benthic macroinvertebrate community and biological estimation of water quality was conducted at the national park of Mt. Jiri and its nearby area in Gurye, Sancheong and Hadong-gun from June to November, 2002. Total taxa of benthic macroinvertebrates were 124 species, 45 families, 15 orders, 5 classes in 3 phyla. Aquatic insects were 33 species in ephemeroptera, 28 species in Trichoptera, 21 species in plecoptera, 13 species in Diptera, 8 species in odonata, 5 species in hemiptera and 5 species in coleoptera, respectively. Non-insects were 5 species in Mollusca, 2 species in Hirudinea, 1 species in oligochaeta and 1 species in crustacea, respectively. Ephemeroptera, trichoptera and plecoptera as indicators in clean water were very abundant. Occurrence species at each survey area was 68 species at Mt. 1025-goji, 59 species at Mt. Eungseok-bong, 57 species at Mt. Wangdeung-jae, 50 species at Mt. Cheonwang-bong and 39 species at Mt. 645-goji, respectively. Mean species diversity indices at Mt. Cheonwang-bong, Mt. 1025-goji, Mt. Wangdeung-jae, Mt. Eungseok-bong and Mt. 645-goji were 3.33, 3.03, 3.41, 3.02 and 2.91, respectively, According to the saprobic system based on the species diversity indices of benthic macroinvertebrates, most survey areas except some sites are determined as Limnosaprobic area.

거주자 증언을 통한 운조루의 생활공간에 관한 연구 (A Study on the life space of UNJORU through the testimony of residents)

  • This study examines ways of housing usage and aspects of resident's life based on the representative traditional house "UNJORU" as time passed. In other words, it explains how the traditional life has changed. these days compared to late Joseon dynasty. It also explains how the meaning of the place changed by life style change and the aspect have changed in women's perspective. This is for restoring the time period that the life dairy was recorded later time period. We can trust Mrs. Lee who is the eldest resident of them at the present in UNJORU. The method of study proceeded by interview format. It is classified a meal place and a folk-beliefs the daily life the funeral rites non-daily life, such as in this process, was conducted to understand the consciousness and life form at the time of residents. As a result, Ryu's family life style has preferred a more modern life style than traditional life style by time as well as society changes. Through this research, It was possible to analyze how the external formality of traditional house has kept but internal formality has changed over time.

Characteristics of Seed and Plant Growth in Local Collections of Agastache rugosa

  • Characteristics of seed and plant growth of the nine local collections of the medicinal plant, Agastache rugosa were evaluated. Seed size of the collection from Garyungsan was larger than the others. Seeds of Damyang collection were the smallest in size. Seeds of the collections were mostly oval shaped. There were no differences between brown and black seed coat color groups in seed width, ratio of seed length to seed width and 1,000 seed weight. Stem lengths of Garyungsan and Bongpyung collections were 99.9 and 95.6 cm, respectively, and were longer than Damyang and Jindo collections. Garyungsan collection had long leaf shape. Leaf size was the smallest for Damyang collection, but was the largest for Bongpyung collection. Inflorescence length of Mokpo collection (15.6 cm) was longer than the average over all collections (12.3 cm). Damyang collection was the shortest (10.1 cm) in inflorescence. Top dry weight of each collection from Soonchun, Bongpyung, Mokpo, Jindo, and Gurye was greater than the average over all collections (20.38 g/plant). Jinju and Damyang collections had less top dry matter than others. There was no difference in the growth traits examined between brown and black seed coat groups. The brown seed group was greater in leaf weight than the black seed group. However, these two groups were not different in stem and inflorescence weight. Collections of A. rugosa from Bongpyung, Soonchun, and Mokpo were promising for commercial cultivation because of their great top dry weight, especially in leaf and inflorescence.

광주.전남지역 지역특산물에 대한 인지도 조사 - 강진지역 일부 주부들을 대상으로 - (A Study on the Perception of Local Special Food in Gwangju and Jeonnam Area - Focused on some Housewives in Gang Jin Region -)

  • This study investigated housewives' perception of local special foods in Gwangju and Jeonnam in Gang Jin. Of 150 questionnaires sent, there were 114 responses. The most perceptible local special foods in Gwangju and Jeonnam area are as follows: Watermelon in Gwangju (100.0%), Pear in Naju (90.0%), Rice in Suncheon (40.0%), Gorosoe in Gwangyang (76.7%), Hongeo in Mopko (63.3%), Dolsan leaf mustard Kimchi in Yeosu (100.0%), Sweet Persimmon in Jangseong (86.7%), Salted bamboo sprout in Damyang (46.7%), Apple in Gokseong (90.0%), Butterfly rice in Hampyeong (63.3%), Gorosoe in Gurye (56.7%), Onion in Muan (96.7%), Peach in Hwasun(40.0%), Dallmaji rice in Yeongam (50.0%), Oyster mushroom in Jangheung (63.3%), Green tea in Boseong(96.7%), Heuksanhongeo in Sinan (53.3%), Loess sweet potato in Haenam (83.3%), Kukija in Jindo (60.0%), Laver in Wando (76.7%), Tohajeot in GangJin (73.3%), Citron in Goheung (90.0%), and Gulbi in Yeonggwang (100.0%). The most perceptible area and local special foods in Gwangju and Jeonnam area were in the following order: Green tea in Boseong (17.37%), Tohajeot in GangJin (15.97%), Watermelon in GwangJu (10.0%), Pear in NaJu (9.3%), and Loess sweet potato in Haenam (9.3%).

구례-순천간에 분포하는 화강암질편마암의 암석화학적 연구 (Petrochemicla Study on the Granitic Gneiss in the Gurye-Suncheon , Korea)

  • Main aims of this study are to clarify petrochemistry of the granitic gneiss in the Durye-Suncheon area. The origin of the metamorphic rock is evaluated from the abundance of $Na_2O$, the $TiO_2$/$Al_2O_3$ratios, the Harker variation diagram and $Al_2O_3$($Na_2O$ +$K_2O$ + CaO) ratios of the major elements. and the frequency distribution and average abundance of the trace elements . The trace elements of the granitic gneiss in the studied area are compared with those of the granitic rocks with shales in the other areas. The abundance of $Na_2O$ is lower than 3.27% and the $TiO_2$/$Al_2O_3$ ratio is 0.04. Also the Harker's variation diagram indicate this granitic gneiss correspond to sedimentary origin or S-type granite. The average abundance for trace elements of the granitic gneiss is similar to that of the shale, and the frequency distribution shows extensive distribution and irregularly . But xenolith are observed in the field survey, it is evidence of igneous origin , and then origin of the granitic gneiss in studied area is S-type granite.

농어촌 도로의 정비현황 조사 분석 - 전남 군지역을 중심으로 - (Analysis on the Improvement Level of Minor Rural Roads - A Cast Study on the County Areas of Chonnam Province -)

  • This study was carried out to propose some useful advices for the improvement policy of the minor rural roads. For the detailed case studies on structural improvement level of the minor rural roads, 5 county areas in Chonnam Province were selected ; Damyang (peri-urban), Gurye(remoter mountainous), Jindo(remotest island), Yuongam(intermediate flat) and Bosung (intermediate semi-mountainous). In each county, the official survey data on pavement types, widths and ratios of district(Myun in Korean) and parish(Ri in Korean) roads were collected. There were no apparent differences between district and parish roads in terms of structural improvement level, while the former was ranked higher than the latter in the minor rural road improvement law, so, the present hierarchial classification system of rural roads should be readjusted. And above a third of minor rural roads in the case study areas did not meet the statutory minimum level of road width, which means the necessity of substantial upgrade of road improvement works in rural areas.

  • This study aimed to suggest the direction of sustainable rural development through the analysis of existing rural revitalization policies and rural status. This study also aimed to explore ways to revitalize the agricultural-oriented rural economy and improve the settlement environment in consideration of the characteristics of rural spaces. Based on the results, we created a regional crop-specific agricultural space, planned concentration, farmland maintenance, and joint agricultural facilities to secure agricultural competitiveness. It also plans a walking-oriented settlement environment to create a safe and pleasant rural village. Finally, by overcoming the limitations of the existing land-use plan, a sub-concept rural spatial plan reflecting the characteristics of rural areas was proposed, and the rural revitalization plan was studied.

지리산 지역 자생식물 활용 천연보존제 융합 연구 (Convergence Study on Natural Preservatives from Various Native Plant Species in Jiri Mountain Area)

  • 본 연구는 지리산 자생식물 19종을 선별하여 항산화 활성 및 항균 효과를 조사하여 천연보존제 융합소재 탐색을 목적으로 하였다. 총폴리페놀은 차나무(87.9 mg GAE/g), 박하(85.1 mg), 연(65.0 mg), 소나무(52.8 mg) 순으로 높은 값을 나타내었다. 총플라보노이드는 연(25.7 mg QUE/g)과 박하(25.4 mg QUE/g)에서 높은 함유량을 나타내었다. $100{\mu}g/mL$ 농도에서 차나무(58.1%), 연(47.9%), 박하(40.6%) 순으로 높은 ABTS radical 소거능을 나타냈으며, DPPH radical 소거능도 비슷한 경향을 나타내었다. 골잎원추리, 솔잎, 산수유 종자 추출물이 E. coli의 증식억제능이 가장 높았고, 할미꽃, 삼백초, 청미래덩굴 추출물은 S. aureus균의 증식을 완전히 억제하여 향후 천연보존 및 방부제 등의 융합소재로 개발가능성을 확인하였다.
