온라인 게임 리뷰의 특성이 리뷰 유용성에 미치는 영향: 토픽모델링을 활용하여 (The Impacts of Online Game Reviews' Characteristics on Review Helpfulness: Based on Topic Modeling Analysis)

  • Purpose This study analyzed the topic of game review contents and how the characteristics of game reviews affect the reviews helpfulness. In addition, this study explore the content of game reviews according to the game's sales strategy such as early access strategy and releasing without early access. Design/methodology/approach We collected a list of 3,572 action genre games released in 2020. 58,336 online reviews were collected by random sampling 50 reviews in each games, and topic modeling was performed on those reviews. We dynamized the results of topic modeling and analyzed the effect on review helpfulness with multiple regression analysis. Findings The results of analysis indicate that the longer the review is or the shorter the time it is written, the more helpful the review is. In addition the topic with positive and negative review has a significant effect on the review helpfulness. As a result of exploratory analysis, games from early access had relatively fewer reviews of story-related topics than games that were released without early access. These findings can present direct guidelines for collecting specific opinions from customers in the game industry when releasing games.

Development of Parent Guidelines for Parent-Performed Developmental Screening Tests

  • Objectives: Most developmental screening tests have been built as parent-performed questionnaires. However, they often do not guide parents on how to answer the questionnaire. This study aimed to develop easily applicable parent guidelines. Methods: We implemented the Delphi procedure with 20 panelists. The development of the initial questionnaire was based on the results of two surveys of parents and experts provided by a policy research report that investigated the item adequacy of the Korean Developmental Screening Test. Round one included 33 items comprising all possible measurements in six categories that were identified as difficult to understand or confusing. Round two merged and modified some items and included 32 items. We defined consensus as a median agreement value of one or less and convergence and stability values of 0.5 or less. The subjective usefulness of the parent guidelines was examined based on their previous test experiences. Results: Consensus was reached after the second round, reflecting the items with the highest level of accuracy in each category. Of the 167 parents who participated in the survey, 113 (67.7%) affirmed the usefulness of the guidelines, while 10 (6.0%) answered that they were not useful. Items that recommended a different scoring strategy in answering the questionnaire from their previous measurements were found to be more useful by the parents. Conclusion: The parent guidelines, composed of five bullet points, drew on the consensus of the experts. Further studies are required to assess whether these guidelines improve the accuracy of screening tests in clinical settings.

A Design Technique of Component Framework Based on Framework Reference Model

  • As CBD technologies and researches have been matured, component framework as a larger reuse unit than component is being introduced. Especially issues related with adaptation and integration of components in CBD are being raised as a new research topic. The component framework is given as a solution to resolve these issues. However, current approaches don't suggest a sound and comprehensive reference model and development process applying reference model. In order to develop practical and stable component framework, reference model and concrete guidelines are essential elements. In this paper, we propose a generic reference model integrating existing reference models and a design technique of component framework based on it. Especially, we propose concrete and pragmatic guidelines such as how to design component framework architecture's view and style, how to design commonality and variability of component framework, how to design macro workflows among components, and so on. We believe that the proposed reference model becomes basis for component framework development, and the proposed design technique will support reliable and effective development of the component framework.

  • Hospice is defined by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO, USA) and WHO, as a program of care that provides comprehensive medical, nursing and support services to dying patients and their family. Despite its broad definition, however, hospice care in Korea has been focused mostly on terminal cancer patients. Thus hospice eligibility for patients with advanced cancer is relatively easier to predict than those with other fatal chronic illnesses such as heart, lung, renal or liver diseases, and dementia. This makes it more difficult for patients and families to prepare for death and gain full benefits of hospice care. This article introduces the medical guidelines for selected non-cancer patients who are expected to live for only six months, this making it possible for patients, who are nearing the end of life, to avoid unwarranted suffering.

  • Doctors are often faced with difficult decisions and uncertainty when patients need a certain treatment. They routinely rely on the scientific literature, in addition to their knowledge, experience, and patient preferences. Clinical practice guidelines are created with the intention of facilitating decision-making. They may offer concise instructions for the diagnosis, management (medical or surgical treatments), and prevention of specific diseases or conditions. All information included in the final version are the result of a systematic review of scientific articles and an assessment of the benefits and costs of alternative care options. The final document attempts to meet the needs of most patients in most circumstances and clinicians, aware of these recommendations, should always make individualized treatment decisions. In this review, we attempted to define the intent and applicability of clinical practice guidelines, expert consensus documents, and registry studies, focusing on the management of patients with thoracic aortic disease.

Outrigger System Design Considerations

  • Outrigger systems have been widely used in super tall buildings constructed since the 1980's, eclipsing previously favored tubular frame systems. However, outriggers are not listed as a seismic lateral load resisting system in any code. Design guidelines are not available. The CTBUH formed the Outrigger Working Group to develop the first-ever outrigger system design guide with an historical overview, considerations for outrigger application, effects on building behavior and design recommendations including concerns specific to this structural system such as differential column shortening and construction sequence impacts. Project examples are presented for various outrigger system types, including advancements in their technology. The guide provides a basis for future discussions on this important topic.

언어 네트워크 분석을 통한 IFLA의 학교도서관 가이드라인 비교·분석에 관한 연구 (A Comparative Analysis Study of IFLA School Library Guidelines Using Semantic Network Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 언어 네트워크 분석을 통해 IFLA의 학교도서관 가이드라인의 언어적 의미를 파악하는데 목적이 있다. IFLA의 학교도서관 가이드라인은 2002년 초판과 2015년에 개정한 제2판이 있다. 본 연구는 학교도서관 가이드라인의 2002년판과 2015년판을 언어 네트워크의 관점에서 분석하고, 상호 비교하였다. 대상 테스트로부터 키워드들을 추출하고 동시출현관계를 바탕으로 언어 네트워크를 구성하였다. 동시출현 네트워크로부터 중심성(연결정도 중심성, 근접 중심성, 매개 중심성)을 분석하였다. 또한, 본 연구는 넷마이너4.0의 LDA 기능을 사용하여 토픽모델링 분석을 수행하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중심성 차원에서 비교해 보면, 2015년판에서 'Program, Teaching, Reading, Inquiry, Literacy, Media' 등의 키워드가 2002년판에 비해 높게 나타나고 있다. 둘째, 2002년판의 중심성 상위 리스트에서 보이지 않던 'Inquiry'와 'Achievement' 키워드가 2015년판의 연결정도 중심성과 근접중심성에 새롭게 출현하고 있다. 셋째, 토픽 모델링의 분석 결과, 2002년판에 비해 2015년판은 학교도서관 서비스, 사서교사의 교수학습 활동, 미디어 및 정보활용교육, 교육과정 참여 등에 관한 토픽의 비중이 높아지고 있다.

Detecting Fake News about COVID-19 Infodemic Using Deep Learning and Content Analysis

  • With the widespread use of social media, online social platforms like Twitter have become a place of rapid dissemination of information-both accurate and inaccurate. After the COVID-19 outbreak, the overabundance of fake information and rumours on online social platforms about the COVID-19 pandemic has spread over society as quickly as the virus itself. As a result, fake news poses a significant threat to effective virus response by negatively affecting people's willingness to follow the proper public health guidelines and protocols, which makes it important to identify fake information from online platforms for the public interest. In this research, we introduce an approach to detect fake news using deep learning techniques, which outperform traditional machine learning techniques with a 93.1% accuracy. We then investigate the content differences between real and fake news by applying topic modeling and linguistic analysis. Our results show that topics on Politics and Government services are most common in fake news. In addition, we found that fake news has lower analytic and authenticity scores than real news. With the findings, we discuss important academic and practical implications of the study.

급성 허혈성 뇌졸중에서 항혈전제 치료의 최신 가이드라인 개정과 근거에 대한 고찰 (Review of Updated Guidelines and Evidence for Antithrombotic Therapy in Acute Ischemic Stroke)

  • Background: There was an important revision of the Korean Clinical Practice Guideline for Stroke (KCPGS) for antithrombotic therapy in patients with acute ischemic stroke in 2022. This review is to provide an updated information in this revision. Methods: The revision history by year after the first announcement was examined for each topic, focusing on antithrombotic therapy during acute phase which was revised in 2022. We compared before and after the revision, and investigated the clinical outcomes presented as evidence. It was also compared with the current U.S. guidelines. Results: The major changes about antiplatelet therapy are a clause stating that dual antiplatelet therapy with clopidogrel and aspirin initiated within 24 hours from the stroke onset and maintained for up to 21-30 days is recommended as an acute treatment, as well as the clause that antithrombotic therapy may be initiated within 24 hours after intravenous thrombolytics and that the use of glycoprotein IIb/IIIa receptor antagonists can be considered in highly selected patients as rescue therapy taking into account of benefit and risk. The change to the use of anticoagulants is that it may be reasonable to start oral anticoagulant between 4 and 14 days after stroke onset for patients with acute ischemic stroke and atrial fibrillation. Conclusions: It will be helpful in improving health outcomes for clinical pharmacists to be aware of the latest information for antithrombotic therapy and to actively use it in pharmaceutical care of stroke patients.

An Analysis of Artificial Intelligence Education Research Trends Based on Topic Modeling

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내 인공지능 교육의 최근 연구 동향을 분석하여 향후 인공지능 교육의 방향성을 모색하는 것이다. 2016년부터 2023년 11월까지 RISS(Research Information Sharing Service)에 게재된 논문 중 인공지능 교육 관련 논문 697편을 대상으로 워드 클라우드(Word Cloud)와 LDA 토픽 모델링(Latent Dirichlet Allocation Topic Modeling) 기법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 주요 토픽으로는 생성형 인공지능 활용 교육, 인공지능 윤리 교육, 인공지능 융합 교육, 인공지능 활용에 대한 교사 인식과 역할, 대학 교육에서 인공지능 리터러시(Literacy) 개발, 인공지능 기반 교육과 연구 방향으로 여섯 가지가 도출되었다. 분석결과를 토대로, (1) 다양한 교과목에 생성형 인공지능 활용 확대, (2) 인공지능 사용을 위한 윤리적 지침, (3) 인공지능 교육의 장기적 영향 평가, (4) 고등교육에서 교사의 인공지능 활용 역량, (5) 대학의 인공지능 교육과정 다양화, (6) 인공지능 연구 추이 분석 및 교육 플랫폼(Platform) 개발 등을 제안하였다.
