선박평형수 처리장치의 cylinder type과 groove type의 살균효과 비교 연구 (A Comparison Study on the Sterilization Effect of Ballast Water with Cylinder Type and Groove Type)

  • IMO에서 규제중인 선박평형수의 처리기술은 현재 대부분 화학적 처리법 및 전기적인 처리방법을 주로 이용하고 있는데 이러한 방법들은 2차오염의 위험을 가지고 있으며 이를 방지하기 위하여 추가적인 장치가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 전단력을 활용한 물리적인 방법을 이용하여 2차 오염 없이 선박평형수를 처리하는 방법을 연구하였다. 균일장치의 원리를 이용하여 전단응력으로 균을 파쇄시키는 원리인데, 내부 실린더와 외부 실린더의 표면이 매끄러운 경우에는 미끄럼 현상이 나타나 효율적인 살균효과를 얻기가 어려워서 전단응력의 크기를 변화시키는 다양한 요인 가운데 표면의 모양을 다르게 하여 두 가지 type의 장치에 대한 살균 성능을 비교하였다. 기본 장치는 cylinder type이나, 내부 실린더와 외부 실린더에 일정 간격과 깊이로 홈을 파낸 groove type과 멸균성능을 비교하였다. 그 결과 미끄럼을 방지한 groove type에서 cylinder type보다 우수한 결과를 나타내었다.

  • In this study, time-dependent distributions of temperature and stresses, in the box-column welded from ultra thick plates with center segregation, has been analyzed by the commercial finite element package SYSWELD+, for several types and angles of groove. The major points of investigation are the optimum type and angle of groove that minimize weld stress specially at the center segregation, as well as temperature distribution, residual stresses and changes in the mechanical properties. The results can be summarized as follows; 1) Generally the thermal cycle at the root of groove exhibits relatively rapid cooling pattern, however, most of the other part weldment have a slow cooling pattern in all groove types. 2) Most of the micro-structures of weldment are composed of ferrite and pearlite, meanwhile we could find martensite and bainite locally a the root of the groove. 3) Optimum groove type for high heat input welding of box-column corner is a double groove type, and the optimum angle for the groove is 30~$45^{\circ}$ that minimize deformation and weld stress at the center segregation.

  • The noncontacting groove end face seal is one of various approaches to sealing gases with a single seal. Gas pumped into groove maintains operating gap and lubricates between primary ring and mating ring. So it removes heat and decreases face wear. In this paper, K-type and T-type grooved seals have been analyzed numerically using the finite element method. It explains the effects of groove shapes in gas seals along rotating speeds with a temperature gradient, face distortion, stress and so on. The calculated FEM results show the operating gap and rotating speed are strongly related to the leakages of a gas seal and that T-type groove seal shows a good thermal performance compared to K-type groove seal.

  • In machining with cutting tool inserts having complex chip groove shape, the flow, curl and breaking patterns of the chip are different than in flat-face type inserts. In the present work, an effort is made to understand the three basic phenomena occurring in a chip since its formation in machining with groove type and pattern type inserts. These are the initial chip flow, the subsequent development of up and side curl and the final chip breaking due to the development of torsional and banding stresses. In this paper, chip flow angle in a groove type and pattern type inserts. The expression for chip flow angle in groove type and pattern type insets is also verified experimentally using high speed filming techniques.

  • The development of the lobe pattern in the human dentition plays a part in the form and function of each individual teeth. In order to determin the morphological categories used to describe the occlusal surfaces of the maxillary and mandibular molars, the variation of the developmental grooves which separate each lobe in the molars was examined and analysed. The obtained conclusions were as follow. 1. Most of the maxillary first molars with more distinct and more developmental grooves than the other molars but in most cases of the third molar, a heart-shaped outline due to poorly developed or abscent distolingual cusp was most frequent and in this case the third molar had the 3 cusps separated by the central developmental groove and the buccal developmental groove. 2. In most cases, the mandibular first molar had the 5-cusp type that the groove patter resembles a Y, the second molar the 4-cusp type arranged in such a way that the buccal and lingual developmental grooves meet the central developmental groove at right angle on the occlusal surface and many instances of the mandibular third molars had the 5-cusp thpe with a+groove pattern which separatess the mesiolingual cusp from the distobuccal cusp and the 4-cusp type with a+groove pattern. 3. The maxillary and mandibular third molar were most variable in the developmental groove.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the manufacturing technique on the U type Draw-Bending of inner groove tube. The U type tube requires the quality of product that satisfy sufficient conditions for a heat exchanger. The mandrel components act the important roles that prevent wrinkles and keep the shape of cross section of bended tube at bending process. We performed the FEM simulation using LS-DYNA software and the bending test of inner groove tube and then, compared bending simulation with bending test results about mandrel ball diameter, mandrel position and optimal clearance between mandrel and tube.

극후판 Box Column 코너이음부의 용접잔류응력 및 Groove형상 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Welding Residual Stresses and Groove Sja[e pf Cprmer Joint in Box Column with Ultra Thick Plate)

  • Ships, structures on the ocean, bridges, and other structures tend to be large by the development of industry. These ultra thick plate were welded with large heat input, which causes welding stresses, deformation and buckling, so it has to be considered the weld design, safety, reliability. The welded residual stresses were produced and redistributed due to the effect of large heat input. The mechanical phenomenon has not been surely identified yet. In spite of the lack of the study on the box column, there are various types of steel frame such as I type, H type, + type and $\bigcirc$ type, used in high story building. In this study, we performed computer simulation with two dimensional heat conduction and plane deformation thermal elasto-plastic finite element computer program as changing the plate thickness to 100mm, 150mm and groove angle to $60^{\circ}C$, $45^{\circ}C$, $30^{\circ}C$ of corner joint in box column. And then, to identify mechanical phenomenon such as the phenomenon of thermal distribution, welding residual stresses and deformation and to decide optimum groove angle and welding condition. The main conclusion can be summarized as follows: 1) Since the groove angle has became cooling down rapidly due to its smaller value, the temperature slope was steeped somewhat. 2) The tensile stress within the welding direction stresses was somewhat decreased at the weld metal and HAZ, increasing of the groove angle. 3) The local stress concentration of the groove angle $60^{\circ}C$ was appeared smaller than groove angle $30^{\circ}$.

  • The experimental investication wax performed to study fitness of casting crowns with various investment widely used in Korea. 36 wax patterns were invested and casted according to the regular casting method. The result were as follow : 1. Casting with cristobalite investments of Shofu were seen apart, 0.04mm the tightest space in the linguo and bucco-cervical margin. And the largest deviation, 0.1mm was shown in the central groove 0.1mm was shown in the central groove area of occlusal surface(Jensen Metal) 2. Casting with cristobalite investments of kerr were seen apart, 0.04mm the tightest space in the linguo and bucco-cervical margin And the largest deviation, 0.09 was shown in the central groove area of occlusal surface(Jensen Metal) 3. Casting with Quartz investments of G-C were seen apart, 0.04mm the tightest space in the linguo-cervical margin, And the largest deviation, 0.1mm was shown in the central groove area of occlusal surface(Jensen Metal) 4. Casting with cristobalite investments of shofu were seen apart, 0.01mm the tightest space in the linguo-cervical margin, And the largest deviation, 0.03mm was shown in the central groove of occusal surface(Bo-sung A type gold alloy) 5. 전방 잠금형 금속판을 이용한 요골 원위부 골절수술 후 요골구 접선방향 촬영법의 임상적 유용성 (The Clinical usefulness of the tangential projection view of Radius groove after Distal Radius Fracture operation using the T-type Plat)

  • 서론 : 본 논문은 전방 잠금형 금속판을 이용한 요골 원위부 골절 수술 후 나사못(screw)의 요골구 관통 유무를 확인하기 위한 방법으로 방사선 요골구 접선방향촬영법의 새로운 검사법을 제시하고자 한다. 재료 및 방법 : 요골구 접선방향 촬영 시 요골 원위부 거상 각도는 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10도와 전완골과 방사선 검출기와의 각도를 60, 70, 80도로 각각 변화시켜 촬영한 방사선영상에서 나사못의 요골구 관통유무를 분석하였다. 결과 : 요골구 접선방향 영상에서는 요골구를 관통하지 않은 경우와 요골구 내관통, 요골구 외관통인 경우가 각각 55명(63.95%), 9명(10.47%), 22명(25.58%)으로 분석 되었고, 요골구를 관통한 나사못의 길이는 0.43~2.72mm의 범위로 평균 1.06mm이었다. 요골구가 잘 묘사되는 방사선 촬영법은 요골 거상각도 2.5~7.5도에서 90%이상, 전완골과 방사선 검출기의 각도 70도에서 요골구가 80%이상 잘 묘사되는 것으로 분석 되었다. 결론 : 요골구 접선방향 촬영법은 요골 원위부 거상 각도 5도, 전완골과 검출기의 각도는 70도를 추천 한다.
