그린정보화(Green Informatization)는 기후변화 문제에 대처하여 다양한 산업 분야에서 기술적인 해결책의 한 부분으로 활용되어 저탄소 녹색성장에 크게 기여하는 효과적인 수단으로 인식 되고 있다. 기업의 그린정보화를 실천하기 위하여 도입하는 친환경적인 정보시스템은 기업에서 에너지 절감과 지속가능한 사회적 책임을 이행하게 되는 실천 도구가 되고 있다. 물류기업들도 녹색물류를 실천의 일환으로 그린정보기술(Green IT)을 도입하여 온실가스 배출량을 줄이는 노력을 기울이고 있다.

One consequence of the new economic imperative of developing an environment-friendly and sustainable economy has been the growing importance of green management as a corporate management strategy. In Korea, the government has put forth a green growth vision, and followed suit with policy measures reflecting this vision. Companies, in their turn, have announced various new management plans reflecting this green vision. But, thus far, no tangible progress has been made. This is mainly due to the lack of concreteness, both in the government's policy and green management plans by companies. The government's green IT vision, for instance, was formulated without an accurate assessment of the current level of maturity in terms of green IT in Korea. This study presents a model for assessing the level of green IT maturity, developed by taking into consideration the informatization and regulatory environments of Korean firms. We use this model to evaluate a sample of Korean firms selected as representatives of their respective industry sectors to assess the overall level of green IT maturity among Korean companies. Improvement strategies, based on the results of assessment, are presented as well.

World governments and industries have put tremendous efforts for reduction of greenhouse gases. Specifically, IT (information technology) or ICT (information communication technology) is seen to play a pivotal role in green IT since it is deeply penetrated and related to all the industrial and business processes. The objective of this research is to enhance green maturity of a Gangwon province. We first discussed recent trends of green IT approaches/directions and prevailing green readiness indecies. Based on the environmental and industrial characteristics of Gangwon province. a future plan drawn has been examined with regard to a green IT maturity model.

This study analyzes introduction state of Green SCM technology in domestic and overseas area and suggests how to reduce greenhouse gases of logistics in the future. Thus, introduction state of Green SCM was reviewed by building and integrating logistic-related informatization systems such as WMS and TMS. And how to apply the system to track toxic substance in supply chain was performed to manage toxic substance. Therefore, it will be necessary to develop a device to display and collect vehicle condition & log through OBD-II, which is widely adopted, and hardware to measure, collect, and monitor carbon dioxide emission and power consumption of fixed facilities.

It has been two decades since Green Information System attracted scholars in information systems research. The surge of sustainability issues over the world naturally made Information Systems scholars to turn their attention to understanding how the use of Information Systems is making impact to our society and environments. This paper reviews studies on Green Information Systems(Green ISs) to evaluate efforts made in the last decade. Based on a systematic approach, 64 articles published in peer-reviewed international journals in Information Systems and Business & Management disciplines are analyzed to identify research gaps and propose future research agenda in Green ISs that include the application of psychological theory in the design of Green ISs, energy efficient IT/IS to respond to accelerated virtualization, and contribution of Green ISs to biodiversity.

Recently, the web index of Korea peaked at the top 10 among the eighty six countries, and Korea became the only Asian country ranked at the top level. Korea also has been on the top in the field of Internet penetration rate, in terms of both high-speed broadband and wireless Internet. However, such achievements did not guarantee the national level for the effective use of information utilizing Internet. According to OECD, the national informatization index of Korea has not been free from the middle of the OECD countries. Despite of the heightened pressure in practically enhancing effective information use utilizing Internet, the previous research interests and efforts to develop the Internet-related framework or to identify Internet capabilities rarely existed. The study aims to propose the framework, named "Internet Information Orientation" that illustrates the relationship between Internet capabilities and national competitiveness on Internet. The research identified the specific Internet capabilities, reclassified the capabilities based on the research issues provided at the 6^th international conference on Internet held in December 2014, and finally described the rigorous research endeavors on the issues. As a result, 16 papers presented and selected as the outstanding papers at the conference handle issues to be brought together, which include: Wireless Network, Internet of Things, Green Computing, Multimedia Processing, Big Data and Text Mining, Database in Cloud Environment, Business Intelligence, Software Engineering, IT Strategy & Policy, and Social Network Services.

In developing countries, economically under-privileged are mostly consisted of women, therefore supporting those women signify supporting the local society and the family. Advancement of women's economic status not only contributes to her family but also to the local society, nation, and to the global world as a whole. This paper is a research on local informatization and successful model in e-business for Indonesia, which established interactive research model networking with Korea-Indonesia Research Institution and policy-makers for two years and susggested practical research model through visiting Pekalongan. Through activated interaction between women enterprises and policy makers from Korea and Indonesia, the research paper seeks to create research based network and provide opportunities of information access and business matching to local informatized and e-business enterprises. In research adopted regions, city development project has been accomplished in human, business and environmental field since 2005, and have selected Pekalongan region where infra is settled to certain extent. With the information about Indonesia's city development project, investigation on Pekalongan's current geographical, humanistic status quo, the paper aims to and create Indonesian female e-business professionals, e-business user, e-business producers and provide successful model on Pekalongan's local informatization and e-business.

This article examines how the Chinese government blocks the inflow of undesirable information, focusing on the technical aspect of the control mechanism. Unlike Cuba and North Korea, which regulate the whole Internet, China uses both state-of-the-art technological supervision and labor-intensive physical control due to economic reasons in order to prepare for actors who can threaten the Communist party. The Chinese government will not overlook the inflow of information which can be the link between demonstrations and democratization. This is because stronger protests utilizing information technology will trigger the Chinese government's flexible control based on large scale violation and technology. In this article, we first review the concept of universal internet control involved in internet regulation in nations, and then focus on China's internet censorship and its regulatory control from the '90s to the present. Finally, we analyze how the Chinese government actively controls the internet access by utilizing the relationship dynamics between the central and local governments, depending on protest issue. This thesis will assume that it is difficult for China to become democratized due to its information interception, and search how the government manages the internet.
