This study examined the growth and sensory characteristics of soybean sprout cultured at 25$\pm$1$^{\circ}C$ for 4 days with distilled water control and green tea extracted water (0.03% and 0.05%). The proximate composition of soybean sprout in the green-tea water was better than that of the control in ash, protein and fat, while the soybean sprout was especially higher in 0.05% green-tea water. The contents of vitamin C and $\beta$-carotene were higher in soybean sprout in green-tea water than the control. The total free amino acids composition of soybean sprout in green-tea water was better than that of the control, with the highest being obtained in soybean sprout in 0.03% green-tea water. Antioxidative activity was assayed by DPPH radical scavenging ability with spectrophotometer at 514 nm. The soybean sprout in green-tea water was higher than control. The amylase activity of the soybean sprout increased steadily during the first 4 days and that of the control was higher than soybean sprout in green-tea water. The proteinase of soybean sprout steadily increased during 4 day culture. Furthermore, the proteinase activity of soybean sprout in green-tea water was higher than that of the control up to 2 days. Whereas after 3 days, it was the highest in 0.03% green-tea water and then decreased remarkably in 0.05% green-tea water.

As the combination of technique and art, environmental facilities have the function to improve the image of urban green space. Among these facilities, some can be designed and arranged reasonably. But to the facilities of sewage, electricity and sanitation and so on, are usually ignored and become the blemish in the green space. Based on the analysis of the status, taking the design of well cover of sewage as an example, the landscape approaches are discussed from form, material, color and artistic technique and so on.

Anthracnose fungi associated with soybean (Glycine max), small red bean (Vigna angularis), and green bean (Phaseolus radiatus var. aurea) were compared with respect to cultural characteristics, morphological aspects, and pathogenicity. From the legumes, four different species of Colletotrichum were identified based on their morphological characters : C. truncatum, C. destructivum, C. trifolii and C. gloeosporioides. Colonies of Colletotrichum spp.on culture media varied in colour and growth habits depending upon the media and isolates. In general, formation of conidia, setae, and perithecia on water agar leaf medium was better than that on potato dextrose agar medium under near ultraviolet light. In cross inoculation tests, isolates of C. truncatum, c. destructivum, C. trifolii and C. gloeosporioides could infect soybean, small red bean, and green bean at different growth stages. There were some differences in pathogenicity or susceptibility depending on crops tested. C. truncatum was the most virulent and major pathogenic species among the four species.

This study reflects the aim of analyzing the fashion design connection with ecology. Ecology has been linked to human life through its changing relations with environment. In order to recover eco-system ecology-nature oriented methodology and technology oriented approach will suffice. On the modern design field Green design Recycling and Green marketing resulted in increasing rates of environment-friendly production and an effort to deliver environment-friendly corporate image. Based on above research ecological image on fashion design during the year 1990 to 1995 represents the following conclusion. In the fashion design field natural image primitive image nature -harmonious image material-recyling image culture-recycling image are proposed. In the technology field clean image and high-tech image are proposed. In the marketing field happy image harmonious image serious image and realistic image are proposed.

Confronting with series of environmental problems. caused by urbanization and the constantly improving consciousness of the entire society towards environmental protection, it has become an inevitable trend to develop parks and green space planning that guided by the principle of 'respecting nature, preferring ecology' and integrate function, arts and culture of landscape design. Aiming at specific project, humanized design should be laid stress on. With fundamental functional construction serving as the base, the reflection of cultural content and regional landscape as the characters, using various landscape gardening elements reasonably to enrich space design as well as highlighting leisure and sport function and following the concept 'human-centered', parks and green space filled with natural vitality and cultural spirit can be constructed, people, city and the nature could develop together in harmony.

Three varieties of green pepper - Chungyang pepper, Cucumber-taste pepper and Nokgwang pepper - are competing with one another in consumption due to the overlapping shipment period. The objective of this study is to analyze the influence of monthly variations of shipment quantities on the wholesale market prices. A Linear Approximated Inverse Almost Ideal Demand System (LA/IAIDS) is employed with monthly data set of three different varieties of green pepper consumption. The results show that if there is an excess supply in the market, the rate of the price decline is larger for forcing culture Chungyang pepper than other pepper varieties. On the contrary, change in supply of cucumber-taste pepper and Nokgwang pepper has little effect on the price of Chungyang pepper. The results of this study can be utilized as a basic information for enhancing the farm income and promoting agricultural policies related to the establishment of self-help funds by Chungyang pepper producer groups in Gyeongnam region.

Development of forest garden for city dwellers utilizing green space within urban area is nowadays highly regarded as a means to invigorate city and to raise living standard for city dwellers. Thus, development of forest garden has become pressing and important agenda for city governments. Promoting forest garden to solve many environmental and social issues city governments face today requires evaluation criteria to determine whether target green space is suitable to serve as forest garden. In this respect, we believe that evaluation of values of forest garden from previous studies can serve as foundation for developing evaluation index for forest garden. Thus, we aimed to develop evaluation criteria for values of forest garden. First, various evaluation criteria collected from previous studies were assessed by expert groups. Then, the result was studied through AHP technique and we developed evaluation criteria for forest garden based on such result. Especially, evaluation criteria were divided into main and sub-levels for more detailed and precise evaluation system.

In Thailand, the electricity consumption is very high with the intention of reduce high temperature in the building. Since 2000, a lot of people paying attention to Green-Building concept. A similar concept is natural building, which is usually on a smaller scale and tends to focus on the use of natural materials that are available locally. Therefore, the Earth-Block (EAB) product is appropriated approach to reduce energy consumption in the buildings. The EAB is produced with environmentally friendly process, which does not release harmful pollution and effective cost. The main significant character is durable materials for building construction. This study aims to develop the new thermal insulation by using soil-cement with vetiver grass fibre. Additionally, it describes the innovative systems used in production of EAB materials by mixing the soil-cement with vetiver grass fibre. This paper reveals lowest costs, space configurations changing and greater design flexibility for constructing the building.

This paper discusses the main requirements in today's full-color holograms illumination and evaluates the last generation of LEDs, the actual best light source to render properly the colors of the holograms and in particular those recorded with red 660 nm, green 532 nm and blue 440 nm lasers. This paper presents also the first prototype of lamp designed especially for this kind of holograms.

Animation character market in Korea has been dominated by licensed characters (e.g., Walt Disney′s) of which market share is 80%. While market share for Korean characters such as "Mashimaro" and "Little Dinosaur Dooly" is increasing, the application of such characters to fashion products is still limited. For the development of the Korean character market, application of original animation characters should be applied to various fashion products. The main purpose of this study was to design toddler apparel line using "Little Dinosaur Dooly," one of the most popular domestic animation characters. The design focus is the green color of Dooly because the color is the distinctive concept of the brand. Results of the study indicated that developing toddler apparel line with a Korean animation character was a meaningful attempt, as imported licensed characters were dominant in domestic fashion market. The key differentiating factor was the use of green color. In addition, use of various supporting characters, namely Dooly′s friends, demonstrated potential line extension forming animation character groups similar to Warner Brothers′"Looney Tunes."
