  • The purpose of this study was to develop and validate a teacher's praise dispositions scale(TPDS). On the basis of a literature review of praise, we developed 19 Likert-type items to measure praise dispositions of elementary and secondary school teachers. The developed scale was examined with 342 teachers. With an exploratory factor analysis we extracted 3 sub-factors of the scale consisted of 16 items; frequency, intention, and standard of praise. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficients of sub-scales were from .60 to .85 and split-half reliabilities were from .60 to .84. A confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to assess the suitability of three components model. It was found that some correlation coefficients, not all of them, between gratitude disposition and praise disposition were statistically significant. It suggested that teachers'praise disposition scale is related to gratitude disposition but is not the same scale. In conclusion, TPDS could be used to measure praise dispositions of teachers. However, for further validity and reliability, repeated research is necessary.

The data were collected from a survey conducted in 257 nurses at a single hospital in Seoul from May to June 2020. The collected data were analyzed through t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analysis by using an SPSS 25.0 program. The total score was an average of 25.40±5.49 (range: 6-36) for gratitude disposition, 65.15±9.18 (range: 21-105) for job satisfaction, 87.64±12.05 (range: 23-115) for nursing performance, and 35.68±6.79 (range: 0-45) for nursing productivity. • The aim of this study was to identify the significant predictors of subjective happiness for male nursing students. Collecting data from 171 male nursing students, we carried out t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression on SPSS Win 20.0. The significant predictors of subjective happiness for male nursing students were self-esteem, gratitude disposition, perceived relationship of peer, and flow. These factors explained 56.1% of subjective happiness. The results suggest that an effective approach to happiness promotion program for male nursing students should consider self-esteem, gratitude disposition, perceived relationship of peer, and flow.

  • This study aims to explore the impact of learners' gratitude tendencies on computer reasoning and digital efficacy in a Christian program utilizing metaverse, generative AI, and Scratch at each stage based on design thinking (Chapter I). The subjects of the study are learners who participated in a youth Christian program for two weeks on January 20th and 27th, 2024, consisting of 22 middle and high school students. Gratitude tendencies, computer reasoning, and digital efficacy were measured through post-program surveys, and simple regression analysis was conducted. Open-ended survey questions were used for learner perception analysis (Chapter II). The research results showed that learners' gratitude tendencies significantly influence computer reasoning. Additionally, learners' gratitude tendencies significantly affect confidence and familiarity among the sub-dimensions of digital efficacy, while not showing a significant impact on usefulness. The significance of this study lies in specifically exploring learners' experiential perceptions in metaverse, generative AI, and Scratch utilization in design thinking-based edutech programs in Christian education. It is hoped that the results.
