강원도 주거만족도 조사를 통해 살펴본 지역 간 인식 차이 연구 (A Study on the Differences in Perception between Regions through the Residential Satisfaction Survey in Gangwon-do)

  • The aim of this study was to analyze differences in the perception of Gangwon-do residents using a satisfaction survey. The residents were found to be most satisfied with sectors such as parks/green spaces, landscape, and public order; however, they were least satisfied with transportation, culture, sports, medical services, and welfare facilities. Additionally, among all the items in the satisfaction survey, job satisfaction was the lowest. When comparing satisfaction trends observed in the city to those of the county, the overall satisfaction of the county was found to be slightly higher. This result could be attributed to young people being underrepresented in this survey in conjunction with the greater policy-level support for middle-aged people by from the government and Gangwon-do. Therefore, it would be worthwhile to create policies that primarily support young people and to also to create high-quality jobs with stable pay and employment prospects. This could minimize the outflow of youth and even encourage their inflow to similar small provincial cities. In Southern region and Seorak region of Gangwon-do, the satisfaction with gap between house price and region was low, which might be related to the increased demand for real estate throughout this area.

지역주민이 인지하는 의료의 질, 이미지, 역할수행이 공공병원 서비스 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Quality of Care, Image, Role Performance Perceived by Community Residents on Medical Service Satisfaction to Public Hospitals)

  • Background: This study aims to explore the effects of quality of care, image, and role performance perceived by community residents on medical service satisfaction to public hospitals. Methods: The subjects of this study were selected in the community residents around 39 district public hospitals. The questionnaire were included 4 factors and 16 items. The data were collected utilizing call-interview by a survey company. Results: The community satisfaction was positively correlated with quality of care, image, and role performance of public hospitals (p<0.001). As the results of multiple logistic regression, the significant variables of community satisfaction were quality of care (odds ratio [OR], 1.353; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.211 to 1.511), image (OR, 1.487; 95% CI, 1.280 to 1.727), role performance (OR, 1.240; 95% CI, 1.085 to 1.416) among subjects having use experience of public hospitals. The significant variables of community satisfaction were quality of care (OR, 1.240; 95% CI, 1.175 to 1.309), image (OR, 1.328; 95% CI, 1.232 to 1.432), age (OR, 3.051; 95% CI, 1.385 to 6.724), monthly incomes (OR, 0.420; 95% CI, 0.198 to 0.892) among subjects not-having use experience of public hospitals. Conclusion: Public hospitals have to effort to improve image and satisfaction of community through providing quality of care, and role performance. It is possible to support them by the central and local government.

슈퍼마켓 점포속성이 점포충성도에 미치는 영향: SSM과 독립자영 SM의 비교연구 (The Effect of Store Characteristics of a Supermarket on Store Loyalty: A Comparative Study of the Local Supermarket and the Super Supermarket)

  • Purpose - The entry of Super Supermarkets (SSM), operated by large corporations, into the retail distribution market weakens the competitive power of local supermarkets (SM) and their families leading to a rapid collapse of the local-SM market. Accordingly, this is a very sensitive and urgent issue in Korean society and politics. Therefore, the government is required to take steps to activate a local-SM market and regain the loyalty of their customers. However, in spite of the urgent need of a comparative study on the advantages and competitive power of local-SM in relation to the SSM, little research has been done on this issue to date. One purpose of this study is to analyze the differences in store characteristics of the local SM and SSM, and to explore the relationships amongst various store characteristics, such as consumption emotion, relation quality, and store loyalty between store types to provide an efficient solution to activate a local-SM market. Research design, data, methodology - To analyze the differences in the evaluation of store characteristics between store types, and to test the moderator and mediator effects, data were collected from 488 customers in Seoul, Incheon,and Gyeonggi Province. The theoretical model consists of four hypotheses, and data was processed to test these using factor analysis, t-test, regression analysis, hierarchical regression, and the three step regression proposed by Baron and Kenny. Results - First, the analysis shows that local-SM customers evaluate location characteristic factors significantly higher compared to SSM customers. However, SSM customers evaluate quality of merchandise, sales promotion activities, and store environment significantly higher. Yet, there are no significant differences in the evaluation of consumption emotion, relation quality,and store loyalty between the store types. Second, the analysis of moderator effects of the store type show that sales promotion and store atmosphere factors have a significantly negative moderating effecton positive consumption emotion, while positive consumption emotion has a significantly positive moderating effect on absorption of relation quality, while there are no significant moderating effects between consumption emotion and store loyalty. Third, while both trust and absorption of relation quality are partially mediated between consumption emotion and store loyalty, only absorption is partially mediated between positive consumption emotion and store loyalty. There are no significant mediating effects of absorption between negative consumption emotion and store loyalty. Conclusions - We strongly recommend that location restrictions on entrance of SSM into local-SM market should either be further strengthened or sustained for the activation of the local store market. Government should strengthen financial support to improve the quality of merchandise, sales promotion, employee education, store environment of the local-SM by providing appropriate business consulting. Moreover, the result implies that the owners of alocal-SM should take measures to increase customers' absorption and store loyalty, such as store cleanliness, maintaining a delightful atmosphere at the store, and training employees on attitudes towards customers. As this study is restricted within Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province, care needs to be taken in generalizing the interpretation and application to the national level.

  • The after China's reform and opening up, the country has been facing the era of material abundance based on its economic power. The Chinese food industry has been growing along with economic growth, high quality, and diversified customer needs. Also, as Chinese people have strong attachment to food, many food franchise companies have been also growing rapidly. As the Chinese government encourages and supports the field of food franchises, so that the quality and quantity of the Chinese restaurant industry have been improved largely. Meanwhile with the support of the Korean government to enter the overseas market, the number of Korean franchise companies are increasing to operate their business in China. Under the influence of Chinese food industrial climate, Korean companies are also in search of global market advancement to China. However, the risks in China are unexpectable, which means that the recent move of China is literally showing rugby action, criticism of operating businesses in China has been climbed up and the domestic SMEs are seriously considering whether to stay or leave. This study investigates the environmental risks of Chinese enterprises, in which the food franchise companies could experience, to manage any risks from entering the Chinese market with uncertainty. Through SWOT analysis and cases, strategies to avoid the risks are suggested for Korean companies to enter the Chinese markets. Therefore, this study researches in the current status of Chinese and Korean restaurants, explores any risks in China in terms of exports to China and market advance, develops strategies to avoid those risks, and provides essential suggestions for entering into Chinese market.

정부지원자금이 벤처기업의 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 내부역량의 매개효과와 기업 성장단계의 상호작용효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of the Government Funding on Venture Firms' Management Performance: Focusing on the Mediation Effect of Firms' Internal Competencies and the Moderation Effect of Firm's Growth Stage)

  • 신성장 동력원으로서 벤처기업의 중요성이 증대됨에 따라 정부에서는 건강한 벤처 및 창업 생태계 구축을 위하여 다양하게 노력하고 있으며, 경쟁력 있는 벤처기업을 육성하고자 금융 및 연구개발 비용지원 등 다양한 지원정책을 확대하여 추진하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 자원기반이론을 바탕으로 벤처기업의 성장단계에 따라 정부지원자금 수혜경험이 내부역량과 경영성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 기존 연구와는 다르게 벤처기업의 내부역량을 측정함에 있어 자원의 양적인 측면보다는 질적인 측면에 초점을 맞추었고, 경영성과는 재무적 성과와 비재무적 성과로 구분하여 벤처기업에 대한 정부지원자금의 효과를 자세히 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 가설 검증을 위하여 중소벤처기업부에서 1999년부터 편제하고 있는 벤처기업정밀실태조사의 2017년 자료를 활용하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면 첫째, 정부지원자금 수혜경험은 벤처기업의 내부역량과 재무적 성과에 영향을 미치지 않았으나 기업의 비재무적 성과에는 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 비재무적 성과는 다시 기업의 재무적 성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 비재무적 성과에는 기술 가격 디자인 품질 경쟁력이 영향을 미치는 반면, 재무적 성과에는 가격 디자인 조직관리 마케팅 경쟁력이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 성장단계에 따라 벤처기업의 내부역량과 경영성과에 차이가 있으나, 정부지원자금 수혜경험과 상호작용 효과에 따른 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다.

스위스에서의 국민투표에 의한 보완의학 건강보험 급여화 사례 연구 (A case study on benefit coverage of complementary medicine in public health insurance by the referendum in Switzerland)

  • Background : Efforts towards increasing insurance coverage for traditional Korean medicine (TKM) are being continued. However, various difficulties are faced in generating evidence for TKM due to limited financial support and the low quality of research methodology. Objectives : The objectives of this study were to review the Swiss evaluation program for complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) and assess the expansion in public health insurance coverage of complementary medicine as approved by referendum in Switzerland. Methods : The regulations of CAM in the European Union were assessed. Research articles, reports, government publications and websites which deal with the 'Programm Evaluation $Komplement{\ddot{a}}rmedizin$ (PEK)' and the referendum in Switzerland were searched for and analyzed. Results : The PEK was conducted from 1998 to 2005. The PEK evaluated the efficacy, utilization and cost-effectiveness of anthroposophical medicine, homeopathy, neural therapy, phytotherapy and traditional Chinese medicine. However, clear conclusions could not be drawn from the evaluation according to the PEK Report. Later, a referendum was implemented in which 5 therapies would be added to the Switzerland Constitution with the support of the public. The coverage of CAM was approved by Swiss a plebiscite with an approval rate of 67.0%. Conclusions : The reason for the successful referendum is suggested to be public support and the solidarity with CAM experts and politicians. It may be surmised that recognition of the political efforts and scientific aspects required to expand insurance coverage of TKM, and towards obtaining public support, is necessary.

한류 K-패션 활성화를 위한 전략 분석 연구 (An Analysis of a Strategy for the Activation of Korean Wave K-Fashion)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the characteristics and development direction of K-fashion and to systematize the strategic features performed by government agencies, fashion associations, fashion companies, and other companies to activate K-fashion. This research analyzed K-fashion related articles published in major newspapers and magazines in Korea from the late 1990s to early 2017. The results of the study are as follows. 1. The characteristics of K-fashion are as follows: The first is a trendy and sophisticated design with modern sensibilities, unique designs that reinterpret the latest trends with designer creativity, practical and popular designs that ordinary people can wear comfortably in everyday life. The second is functional and trendy materials. The third is excellent sewing technology. The fourth is rapid turnover of products by quick connections among planning, production and sales. The fifth is a lower price than quality. 2. The direction for K-fashion to pursue was the continuous and ongoing development of the above characteristics and the creation of a 'design with the Korean emotion of its 5,000 year history'. 3. The following projects were carried out to promote K-fashion. 1) Utilization of K-pop, K-drama and other Korean wave content. (1) Holding a fashion concert event that combines Idol's K-Pop performances with fashion shows. (2) Hallyu (Korean wave) star's costume support and design collaboration with Hallyu stars. (3) Collaboration between entertainment companies and fashion companies. 2) Nurturing a global fashion branding project. 3) Business support for overseas expansion of the K-fashion brand. (1) Support project for foreign trade fair participation. (2) Holding a fashion brand fair in Korea. (3) Overseas business support by establishing a showroom and design center 4) Business to discover and nurture new designers

  • Localization trends in Korea and trade liberalization in the world are the important challenges to agricultural extension services in Korea, and strategic directions in terms of system, organization, programs and conciousness would be necessary for adapting to the new circunstances. Some of the measures to improve and activate agricultural extension services in Korea should include the following: 1) Modification of extension personnel appointment regulations to secure specialized extension agents by the provincial administrators and county directors at the provincial and county level rural extension services. 2) Flexible organization and operation of county level rural guidance offices to meet the specific needs of local areas. 3) Strenghening the central government's financial support for effective local extension services in terms of facility and manpower. 4) Expansion of agricultural extension programs for women and urban people and quality inservice training for extension personnel.

한국노동쟁의에 있어서 직권중재제도의 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Compulsory Arbitration System in Labor Dispute of Korea)

  • This article deals with the Improvement of Compulsory Arbitration System on Trade Union and Labor Relations Adjustment Act in Korea. If a labor dispute occcur, the settlement of labor dispute must be reached for the parties' own accord. The autonomy of the parties concerned is the fundamental principle in the settlement of labor dispute. If the Rights Which are guaranteed by art. 33 Constitutional Law belong to civil liberties, we should consider Trade Union Act as the restriction of basic rights. Arbitration is a procedure which permits the most positive intervention by the arbitrator. It is carried out by an arbitration committe which is composed of three arbitrators appointed by the chairman of the Labor Relations Commission. Compulsory arbitration system of the labor for parties should be improved. In case of necessary public enterprises, more strict requirements on assembly for labor disputes should be prepared and the government should support institutions to prevent labor-management disputes by educating experts on labor-management relations and improving the quality of arbitration.

학교급식의 효율적 개선방안 - 조리설비를 중심으로 - (Study to Improve School Catering Service Quality Through Cooking Hardware Upgrade)

  • The school catering service has gained national attentions and has been expanding unto high schools after offering meals at elementary schools over years. This study is to identify problems and solutions in kitchen hardware areas to provide nutritiously balanced meals to schoolchildren through establishing standard menu planning. The survey analysis shows that 59.2% of dishes except for rice, Kimchi and soup are prepared by oil deep-fired or oil pan broiled. This indicates that school meals are so limited to serve baked or steamed dishes. Main reasons on the limited menu selection is that schools don't have equipment to prepare baking and steaming dishes mainly due to budget issues. All the dietitians who answered the surveys have been requesting to purchase Convotherm Ovens. Improvement solutions to the problems are: Publish the Revised Standard Equipment Layout that may allow to serve baked and steamed dishes. Establish Budget Support Program from the Government.
