BACKGROUND: Yeasts associated with fleabane flowers were identified using isolation methods previously applied in yeast biotechnology. A culture-based approach was required for isolation of many yeast strains associated with fleabane. METHODS AND RESULTS: We spread homogenized fleabane flowers onto GPY medium containing chloramphenicol, streptomycin, Triton X-100, and L-sorbose. We isolated 79 yeast strains from the flowers of wild fleabane, and identified the yeasts via phylogenetic analysis of isolates from agar plates. The yeast species included 39 isolates of Aureobasidium pullulans, 17 of the genus Candida, 14 of the genus Rhodosporidium, 6 of the genus Cryptococcus, and 3 of the genus Rhodotorula. CONCLUSION: Yeast isolates associated with fleabane flowers included A. pullulans (39 isolates) and other yeast species (40 isolates). Such yeast isolates may have biotechnological potential.

As the silver population rapidly increased, it became more urgent to establish a scheme of the traffic safety for the old. As part of the scheme, a polity to apply 'designation of the silver zone' was legislated into law. However, the standard quoting 'the silver zone should be within 300m - radius of the relevant facility' was considered homogeneous and even limited to apply its original objective. This study was to introduce a new standard to select the silver zone reflecting the actual scale. Consequently, I hope that this study would be useful reference for further development and the approach in the research could be legislated into law for more efficient designation and operation of the silver zone.

Architectural lighting is an important factor to inform brand image to public for a headquarter building at night The government encourages to clients to apply architectural lighting to their buildings for the nightscape. In these days, variable lightings and lighting designs are applied to a building in the world. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze and compare architectural lighting design on the various office buildings in Hongkong, Shanghai and Seoul with measured luminance and photographic images at night-time.

Simyak (Finding Herbs) was a medical bureaucracy appointed directly by the central government of the Joseon Dynasty to the province. Simyaksalye (Casebook of Finding Herbs) was a 19th-century manuscript dealing only with Simyak. This study has outlined and analyzed the contents of this document. This article reveal facts which include : 1) The year of completion of this document was after December 24, 1873. However, the contents of the text were mixed with different writing periods in the 19th century. 2) The author of this document was assumed to be a member of Jeonuigam. Jeonuigam-based expressions appear in the content. 3) Simyak's main focus was not on contributing to local health care, but on the procurement of goods for central care. Much of Simyaksalye's content were on medicines and goods facts and their benefits. If Simyak's role was important in local medical cadet education, then there would have been rules related to it.

Suicide is a major problem in Korean health care and a serious social problem. In Korea, 12,463 people (24.3 per 100,000) lost their lives due to suicide in 2017. Although the government has established three National Comprehensive Plan of Suicide Prevention (2004, 2009, 2016), and National Action Plan of Suicide Prevention (2018), the suicide rate is still high. The suicide rate of the elderly is especially high. This is due to the economic vulnerability of the elderly in Korea. Therefore, in order to prevent suicide in Korea, mental health care approach and social welfare approach should be integrated. The intervention of preventing suicide of suicide attempters should include social welfare services as well as mental health program and should be based on community. There are many health problems, including prevention of suicide, which can not be solved only by the efforts of health care. Many health problems are social problems and the integrated approach is needed to solve them. In order to solve many health care problems and improve health, integrated approach of health, social science, and humanities is needed.

Air Pollution is increasing in Korea due to recent factory and environmental pollution and desertification in China. People are said to be wearing masks or reducing outdoor activities, but there is little effect on quarantine. Therefore, in order to clean up Air Pollution that has an adverse effect on the body, the government is planning to design a Prototype, an Air Pollution measuring system based on the Internet of Things.

This study examined Islamic economy of Malaysia. In this process, Islamic economy was classified two fields such as finance and consumption. In finance, this study focuses on development of Islamic banking, Islamic insurance(Takaful) and Islamic capital market and institutional support of Malaysia. In consumption, this study focuses on halal industry and halal certification system of Malaysia. As a result, two fields of Islamic economy in Malaysia are growing up more systematic and extensive than before. Because interest in Islam finance and style is increasing and government of Malaysia has been giving support to these fields. That is, Malaysia is aimed at global hub of Islamic finance and giving various supports to financial field. Indeed, Malaysia is making effort to internationalization and development of halal industry. From these active supports of Malaysia, Islamic economics of Malaysia will be developed and Malaysia will be a leader of Islamic economy in the world.

The main purpose of the study is to analyze the current state of the organization's information security system in the context of COVID-19 on the basis of public-private partnership. The development of public-private interaction in information security is one of the priorities of the state policy of many estates. Among the priorities of public-private partnership in cybersecurity and information security, there is an expansion of interaction between government agencies and private scientific institutions, public associations and volunteer organizations, including in training, as well as increasing the digital literacy of citizens and the security culture in cyberspace. As a result of the study, the foundations of the organization's information security system in the context of COVID 19 were formed on the basis of public-private partnership.

In Korea, the statistical system is very weak because it is not functional. Knowledge of statistical theory remains iosolated from applications: routine tasks of collection or processing of data are continued often without utilization, and programms are started in a superficial imitation of other without any purpose. It is essential, in Korea, to make statistics purposive. The only way is to give training statistics-fully developed technology of a multi-discipline character in applied statistics. The purpose of this study is primarily to survey the necessity of, or desire for, statistical tarining for the statistical personnel of the government agencies or bank offices in Seoul, Korea and discuss an adequate method of vacational training in statistics. This survey can be summarized as follows : (1) about 94 percent of the sampled people (478) do not consider their present statistical background adequately trained and 128 persons out of 478 request a graduate level training in respective fields. (2) The statistical fields on job in the sample are : Economic statistics : 138, Sampling survey : 228, management statistics : 50, other fields : 62. Under the current African swine fever (ASF) epidemic situation, a science-based ASF-control strategy is required. An ASF transmission mechanistic model can be used to understand the disease transmission dynamics among susceptible epidemiological units and evaluate the effectiveness of an ASF-control strategy by simulating disease spread results with different control options. The force of infection, which is the probability that a susceptible epidemiological unit becomes infected, could be estimated by applying an ASF transmission mechanistic model. The government needs to plan an ASF-control strategy based on an ASF transmission mechanistic model.
