This paper attempts to apply Markove chain theory to literary works. the objective of this paper is to show the trend of authors and his works by way of Markovian Models. In this introductory research, it is useful to make simple criteria as virtue and evil, good and bad, justice and injustice, positive and negative, man and woman, etc. Markovian transition matrixes which are derived by M.L.E. and A.U.E are almost same. In case of Hamlet, we are able to know the author of Hamlet or his works are inconsistent and fickle.

A warranty is a contractual obligation incurred by a producer in connection with the sale of a product. The warranty specifies that producer agrees to remedy certain failures in the product sold. There have been many articles dealing with warranties, but they have studied about optimal warranty cost for the warranty period. In this study, an optimal preventive maintenance time interval is computed. The optimal preventive maintenance time interval minimizing warranty cost for the warranty period is discussed. It is assumed that failure rate is increasing and the failure rate after preventive maintenance or corrective maintenance lies between good as new and bad as old.

In this paper, we propose an analysis model for the performance of channel error probability in Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) using Markov model. In this model it is assumed that the compressor and decompressor work in Unidirectional Mode. And the average throughput of SCTP protocol is obtained by finding the throughputs of when the initial channel state is good or bad.

DCS가 정상이면 운전원의 설정값 조작치와 현장전송기의 측정값이 비교되어 오차가 비례 적분제어로 MV신호를 H/A에 보내고, ST신호의 GOOD(PUlLSE)에 의해서 A에 연결되어 제어 밸브를 열고 닫는다. 만일 DCS가 고장이면 ST신호의 BAD에 의해서 B에 열결되고 (H/A)가 A운전이면 PID 제어값이 M운전이면 운전원 조작 신호에 의해서 제어 밸브가 열리고 닫힌다. 상기와 같은 시스템 구성으로 DSC의 다양한 S/W를 적용하면 정밀, 제어 안정된 제어가 이루어져 발전소 안정 운전에 기여할 것이며, 기타 화학공장, 제철공장 등에 적용할 경우 기술의 파급효과가 큼은 물론 국내 자동제어 기술혁신의 디딤돌이 되리라 확신한다.

Hydroforming is a forming process enabling circular metal tubes to be produced in complex cross sections along curved axial paths. This forming process is widely used to manufacture parts in automotive industry. This paper presents bending and forming results to following angle of weld line positions. These compare to good bending, bad bending and without weld line model case. And then this result of after forming compare to each forming cases. The purpose of this paper is found that adaptive weld line position for bended final shape.

An input estimation technique for tracking filter(CHP algorithm) suggested by Y.T. Chan et. al. has bad performance for low maneuvering targets. In this paper, two maneuver detection algorithms are applied to Singer's target model. First, an CHP input estimation technique is applied to 9 state target model. Second, we construct a maneuver detection and correction technique using pseudo acceleration measurements, which are derived directly from measurements. These two filters have good performance for even the low maneuvering targets.

The local linear estimator usually has more attractive properties than Nadaraya-Watson estimator. But the local linear estimator gives bad performance where data are sparse. Muller and Song proposed Shifted Nadaraya Watson estimator which has treated data sparsity well. We show that Shifted Nadaraya Watson estimator has good performance not only in the sparse region but also in the dense region, through the simulation study. Ans we suggest the boundary treatment of Shifted Nadaraya Watson estimator.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between children's attributional style and their self-perceived competence. The subjects of this study were 301 third and sixth grades. For data analysis, two-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression were used. Results indicated that there was significant correlation between children's attributional style and their self-perceived competence. Children who attributed good events to intemal, stable, or global causes and bad events to extemal, unstable, or specific causes perceived themselves more competent.

The research for computer cooling system has been researched briskly at home and abroad. Most of computer cooling systems are the air cooling method using cooling fan. The air cooling system are most widely used for low cost and easy installation but have limits in cooling. The water cooling system are good for cooling efficiency but bad for installation. This paper presents the developing for cooling system to be inserted in computer using thermoelectric module.
