This study intends to provide a forecast of the diffusion of countries participating in a newly proposed G to G mechanism named as the "International Defense Industry Cooperation Program of Korea", modeled after the U.S. Foreign Military Sales(FMS). For this purpose, the study analyses 40 years of statistical data of U.S. FMS customers to find two parameters, coefficient of innovation and imitation, which explain the diffusion in FMS customers. Furthermore, the study forecasts the diffusion in international participation to the proposed mechanism taking account of the differences in the level of government competitiveness and the strength of defense industrial base of Korea and the U.S. This study also provides recommendations for accelerating the desired outcomes under the new program. While Korea is likely to have relative advantages over 'imitators' in the international market, it will need to gain competitiveness in high-level capabilities going beyond the realm of medium-high level systems, and present attractive alternatives for offsets.

The purpose of this paper is to help develop a comprehensive understanding of the humidifier disinfectant disaster from diverse perspectives based on a critical review of the relevant academic research papers published so far in the fields of both natural and social science. The authors reviewed pertinent articles in the six academic areas of law, social science, humanities, medicine, toxicology, and environmental health. A proper understanding of the issue of humidifier disinfectant is a challenging task because diverse aspects of it have become related over the more than two decades since such products were first released to the market in 1994. Technical and esoteric issues such as the complex system for relief and compensation for health damages and the approval of chemical toxicity are known to be major impediments to viewing the bigger picture regarding this tragedy. The authors believe that experts need to consider a comprehensive perspective going beyond their individual research arena to gain a better understanding of this issue, especially since it was an alarm signal on ethics and the role of experts and scholars in Korean society. Besides the two professors arrested by the prosecutor's office, it should be remembered that medical doctors recommended patients use humidifiers and disinfectants, and the media was inactive in reporting on this issue. Furthermore, the current paucity of examination of the social and political implications of this tragedy calls for more active engagement by researchers in the humanities and social sciences. In this regard, this paper is a work of self-examination and self-criticism by the authors that could resonate with the overall academic community.

While blockchain platforms for various purposes have been developed and the blockchain ecosystem is being developed, interoperability problems are emerging in which each blockchain is isolated and operated. In this study, we introduce interchain and sidechain technologies, which are blockchain that connect blockchain, and explain examples of using heterogeneous blockchain transactions and functions by applying them. In addition, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and IoT technologies, which are drawing attention in the fourth industrial revolution, are going through a process of converging and developing beyond their own development. In this regard, we present processes for combining artificial intelligence or IoT in blockchain, and propose a model that can operate without intervention by applying the combination of blockchain and artificial intelligence IoT to processes for trading and exchange between heterogeneous blockchain.

Human beings going through a series of identification and adaptation steps from the external environment is deeply related to survival, and the physical and mental development process has the task of each growth period. In particular, infants and children are the most active time to take various information from the surrounding environment and develop balanced actions and thinking. Therefore, the space that supports the development of infants and children should be created into a meaningful environment beyond aesthetic and functional roles as a space that provides various senses and experiences. First, this study understood the concept of infant development and 'light environment' and analyzed the need. Second, the relationship between natural light and infants was identified. Third, the characteristics of the inflow of natural light applied to the space were derived by analyzing how the identified functions could be utilized, and based on this, the current status of daycare centers was analyzed to discuss the necessity and direction of 'introduction of natural light'. We hope that this study will be used as a meaningful basis for the active introduction of natural light in the future space design of daycare centers.

In the Google Deepmind Challenge match, Alphago defeated Korea's Sedol Lee (human) with 4 wins and 1 loss in the Go match. Finally, artificial intelligence is going beyond the use of human intelligence. The Korean government's budget for the Digital New Deal is 9 trillion won in 2022, and an additional 301 types of data construction projects for artificial intelligence learning will be secured. From 2023, the industrial paradigm will change with the use and application of learning of artificial intelligence in all fields of industry. This paper conducts research to utilize artificial intelligence algorithms. Focusing on the analysis and judgment of data in artificial intelligence learning, research on the appropriate target and scope of application of algorithms in artificial intelligence machine learning and deep learning learning is conducted. This study will provide basic data for artificial intelligence in the 4th industrial revolution technology and artificial intelligence robot use in the 5th industrial revolution technology.

The present paper focuses on a specific aspect of H. G. Wells' The Island of Doctor Moreau (1896), namely the issue of homosexuality, particularly as it concerns Prendick, the novel's primary narrator, and Montgomery, Moreau's assistant on the island, both of whom are implicitly associated with homosexual identity-and suggested to represent various forms of repression or acceptance-their personalities, or psyche, explored in relation to other characters on Moreau's island, particularly the Beast Folk, as well as Doctor Moreau and his treatment of the creatures as an allegory of Victorian anti-sodomy legislation and its most celebrated victim, Oscar Wilde, who had been convicted for male sodomy in 1895, only months prior to the original publication of The Island of Doctor Moreau. In addition, this paper examines an extensive series of allusions to Oscar Wilde and to late-Victorian homosexual scandals, including that author's own conviction, allusions to others involved in the affair-some of which involve situational/plot analogies, while others involve echoes or semantic associations between the names of characters in Moreau and historical figures-as well as allusions and parallels involving the most recognizably biographical of Wilde's works, The Picture of Dorian Gray (1890). The deliberate, complex web of allusions and ironic implications of homosexuality, presented in this essay, thus, expands considerably upon existing scholarly work on a range of matters concerning homosexual identity and conduct within the context of social conventions and legislation in the late-Victorian period, as well as more broadly, in scientific and humanistic terms. In this respect, one key aspect of this essay is the exploration of the novel's setting of Noble's Island, which, among other things, includes topographical allusions to nineteenth-century scientific theories of anatomical anomalies in pederasts-namely those of the eminent French forensic medical scientist, Ambroise Tardieu (1818-1879), whose underlying framework of physiological adaptation, moreover, intersected with the scientific interests of Wells and of his protagonist. Beyond this, it is shown that, in Moreau, there is as a web of allusions to homosexual practice and those same anomalies, involving the character of Montgomery and his name.

In "The Animal That Therefore I Am (More to Follow)," Derrida notices that he is being watched by his cat. He becomes ashamed of being naked in front of his cat. The sense of shame is a response to being reduced to the level of an animal. He is ashamed of being as naked as an animal. His next move is, therefore, to cover his nakedness from the gaze of his cat. By contrast, he realizes, the animal is not self-conscious of being naked and so does not shield its nudity. In a truer sense, then, the cat is not naked. Humans do not see animals for what they really are but what they project on them. Whereas the gap between man and animal is clearly identified by Derrida's philosophical discourse, the possibility of going beyond the gap can be suggested by fantasy stories in children's literature. Children's literature in Britain arose in the eighteenth century with the revival of traditional fairy tales and growth of literary fairy tales. Romanticism in the early nineteenth century contributed to opening up a new horizon for the concept of the child, in which the child is no longer defined as the object to be tamed and childhood imagination is glorified as a powerful means to reach the higher state, the spiritual origin prior to separation of Man from the 'thing-in-itself.' In The Wind in the Willows, animals talk and behave like humans. The anthropomorphic figuration of animals can be understood as a result of the one-sided projection of anthropocentric perspectives on animals rather than an interaction between humans and animals. Significant contradictions also emerge in this story, however, as traits particular to animals are vividly delineated even as the main didactic theme of good triumphing over evil reflects an anthropocentric projection on animals. An attempt to capture the true characteristics of animals and locate them in the text constitutes a remarkable achievement in The Wind in the Willows. This can be evaluated as an important step toward a more ecopocentric perspective on animals which appears in later children's fantasies like Charlotte's Web.

The study is to suggest the example of convergence capstone design operation in department of early childhood education at a college and intellectual property rights application and registration. Based on key experiences such as practical training, students derived ideas for solving problems across the field related to young child, and overlaps with existing intellectual property rights ideas were verified. Linkage with industry and engineering experts was established for mentoring, after going through a refinement process, it contains the process by which five teams among the winning works of the school competition achieved the result of patent application and registration. Through this, we revitalize convergence capstone design education that goes beyond a creative and practical competency-centered curriculum and is linked to the performance of securing intellectual property rights.

The work environment that produces and preserves records is changing in the digital transformation era, going beyond the new technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The electronic records management strategy in the archives must be prepared according to the technology, policy, and environmental changes related to overall records management of the era. Based on this, the basic environment in which the public can access records can be created by preserving the value of records. This study analyzes the direction of changes and strategies of records management in the digital environment and the direction of electronic records management strategies of the National Archives & Records Administration (NARA) in the United States, the National Archives of Australia (NAA), and the National Archives of Korea (NAK). Based on the analysis, the study suggests policies, facilities, and personnel elements as the core of the national electronic records management strategy and direction in the digital era.

This paper discusses the concept and continuously evolving applications of metaverse technology in the field of safety education, and proposes methodologies for employing metaverse technology in safety education. Additionally, it analyzes educational cases using the metaverse to explore specific directions for the advancement of safety education. Therefore, this study aims to propose methodologies for safety education utilizing metaverse technology. Recently, the metaverse has emerged as a new platform in various fields, including education. In particular, safety education using metaverse technology is carried out because it can provide an engaging learning experience by fostering understanding and immersion through interaction, moving away from one-way didactic teaching. This paper proposes a three-stage educational process for safety education using metaverse technology and presents various implementable projects and activity examples for each stage. This approach can contribute to developing practical response skills for various situations, going beyond traditional safety education methods. Future research is expected to deeply explore the long-term effectiveness of this educational methodology and its practical applicability in educational settings.
