21세기 우리나라가 초고속통신망의 구축 등 정보화사회로 나아가는 데에, 고부가가치의 창출을 위한 기반조성으로서 우리나라 정보통신부문, 특히 멀티미디어 정보산업의 경쟁력제고와 세계화를 위한 전략방안이 요구된다. 여기에서는 멀티미디어 정보산업의 환경변화, 멀티미디어 정보기술발전동향, 외국의 멀티미디어 정보산업의 기술적 경제적 주요 특성과 동향을 살펴보고 우리나라 멀티미디어산업이 세계시장에서의 경쟁력을 가질 수 있기 위하여 필요로 하는 경쟁력 요소와 이를 효과적으로 확보하기 위한 전략방향 및 정책대안에 대한 논의를 시도하였다. 이 글에서는 특히 새로이 팽창하는 멀티미디어 산업시장에서도 시장원리에의 충실해야 한다는 점과 정부의 직접적인 지원 또는 규제보다는 관련된 자원 (인력, 자금, 정보, 기술)의 동원과 해산이 원활하게 이루어질 수 있도록 하는 제도 및 관행의 정비를 중요하다고 지적하였다.

Domestic architect office from a period of high growth from the 1970s to the '80s has been established as some of the large corporations or publicly traded corporation. 1997 IMF has pointed out there is a lot of need for improvement activities in accordance with the construction recession since the 2008 global financial crisis. In order to address these causes, the company's continuous efficient operation for accurate efficiency and competitiveness analysis was required. Leverage financial ratio indicators Study Using Data Envelopment Analysis Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model, how to find a benchmark for the improvement of the efficiency of inefficient enterprises in various sectors being. In this study, a comparison of the conventional DEA model and the DEA-AR model is used to analyze the efficiency and domestic architect office is to improve the management efficiency.

Korea residential housing generally use wet floor heating system 'Ondol' which consist of insulation cushioning, lightweight foamed concrete, hot water pipe and mortar on top of reinforced concrete slab. Wet floor heating system's installation process is too complicate and difficult to supervise field for continuing assurance quality. Also, this method has a huge impact on the progress of construction because it take a long time to cure finishing mortar and lightweight foamed concrete. Therefore, it is considered a disturbance factor of reduction of construction duration for enhancing competitiveness. In this study, we conducted an experiment about the radiant heat performance and temperature difference on upper panel of rolled dry floor heating systems which is jointly developed by Kolon global and Sumisho Metalex for remodeling housing, studio apartment and the urban-life housing.

Recently, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) have become increasingly popular in the last few decades, and overseas' M&A are particularly increasing to sharpen corporate competitiveness on a global scale. Previous studies showed that one of the main reasons attributes to failures of mergers was the lack of attention to merging information systems. In recent years, both academy and industry have more focused on Post-Merger Integration (PMI) and the integration of information systems (IS) between two companies is one of the critical success factors of corporate. This paper focused on Post-Merger IT (Information Technology) Integration Methodology of Cross-Border M&A. We followed a single-site qualitative case study method in order to investigate the type of phenomenon in M&A's natural setting. Moreover, we examined a typical energy and power company case in order-based industry, so that other industry players may have different results to determine post-merger IT integration method and scope.

Recently, as the global warming by fossil fuels become social issues. the interest of renewable energy producing system is increasing rapidly. Among these, wind turbines are most highlighted because of its economic competitiveness. The tower occupying about $20\%$ of overall turbine costs, is one of the main components of wind turbine. Tower access door located to base part of the tower, is used to enter the tower. This is the main structural weak point because of door hole, weldment, etc. In this study, by FEM, we retrieved the maximum van Mises stress at door location and carried out fatigue analysis using stresses at weld toe locations of tower access door part.

A nation's technology policy is based on the broad principles that govern the allocation of its technological resources. But the cost of inadequate investments in technology development is particularly high in today's global1y-competitive environment where continued technological advancements are critical to sustain. This paper presents a methodology for searching the new and /or advanced technologies to promote Korea's technological and economic competitiveness by industrial technology policy. The conceptual framework of industrial technology development, which is the main focus of this Paper, was designed using both Top-down and Bottom-up approach And the technology classification system was modified reviewing the previous it's system. Supporting the technology input are three key technology elements; proprietary technology, generic technology, infratechnology Competitive survival in any advanced economy will depend upon technology-based strategies that emphasize the integration of these elements of industrial technology.

One of the latest wonders brought to us by ICT(Information and Communication Technology) is telematics turning automobiles, not long ago a mere means of transportation, into a whole-new digital living space. Telematics is indeed fast becoming a household word, and countries around the globe are giving spur to research and development of core technologies to acquire competitiveness in related IT sectors. This paper discusses the telematics pilot project launched in Jeju to promote the development of telematics technology and stimulate related industries. The objective of the pilot project is to give impetus to research in related technologies and a head-start to Korea in the global race in this technology field. The pilot deployment, covering 6 services, promising to be most demanded in Korea's telematics environment, is sure to make a sizeable contribution toward familiarizing the public with the new technology.

This paper examines a mechanism of the Electronic Territory Expansion and the Information-oriented Society. Especially, a strategy for the territory development based on intelligence is suggested. The strategy is divided into a strategy for the domestic electronic territory and a plan for the global electronic territory. To examine the strategy and the plan, this paper is using the causal map analysis based on the System Thinking Approach. The causal map of the mechanism is characterized by a positive feedback loop. The paper has concluded that it is important to make the positive loops as a virtuous circle. It means that when a society dominates the advantageous position firstly in the field of intelligent and electronic territory, the competitiveness can grow in arithmetical progression.

Ensuring technical ability is essential in the construction industry to increase competitiveness in the global market. One of the primary means of achieving global competitiveness is to reduce the COPQ(Cost of Poor Quality). Although the definition of COPQ is not unanimously declared, it is known to be very high but underestimated by the hidden costs due to non-value activities. In any manufacturing or service operations, all actions and resource expenditures should be focused on creating value for customers. Any activity or resource of not creating the value for customers could be regarded as waste, which consequently causes the COPQ. In this paper, a management system is developed for evaluating and reporting the COPQ based on the Six Sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) roadmap.
