Development of a Collaboration Recommendation Model between Global Consulting Firms using Link Prediction

  • Global construction and engineering consulting (E&C) firms are actively seeking entry into overseas markets based on loan projects from multilateral development banks to provide a basis for entry into overseas markets and sustainable growth. Bids on these projects are competitive between global top firms in terms of the technical level and price due to the limited number of projects; thus, developing a successful partnership to complement competence has become an essential element to win bids. In this regard, many studies have analyzed enterprises through characteristic analyses or the derivation of influential factors from the past social networks based on social network analysis (SNA). However, few studies have been conducted to reflect the process of changes to analyze collaborative relationships. Thus, this study aims to identify dynamic changes in past social networks and develop a model that can predict changes in the relationships between E&C firms based on similarities or differences between firms, presenting a methodology to target firms for appropriate collaboration. The analysis results demonstrate that the sensitivity of the developed prediction model was 70.26%, which could accurately predict 163 out of 232 actual cooperative cases.

교양교육의 글로벌 역량 강화 방안 사례 연구: 비교과 영역을 중심으로 (Case Study on Global Competency Reinforcement of Liberal Arts Education: Focusing on Non-Curricular Areas)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to consider ways to strengthen it through comparison and curriculum while recognizing the importance of global competencies in liberal arts education in universities. Methods: In order to explore ways to reinforce the sub-competence of global competencies, this study was conducted at a four-year university in Chungcheong-do for one year in 2019, such as 'Global Culture Talk', 'Global Travel', 'Global Nanta', and 'Making Global Friends'. Cases of comparison and application of educational programs were analyzed. The program was attended by the Department of Business Administration, Department of Aviation Service, Department of Design, Department of Manga Animation, Department of Broadcasting and Film, and foreign exchange students. The competency-centered curriculum not only has clear educational goals, but is also very advantageous in establishing a feedback system by measuring its performance. This study will assess the effectiveness of the education plan by diagnosing the change in competencies before and after the comparison and curriculum is operated. Results: The overall global competency has increased by 0.2 points compared to 2017. By subsector, it was found that the flexibility increased by 1.4 points. In the field of cross-cultural understanding, it rose 0.6 points, and in the field of global understanding, it rose 2.2 points, showing the largest increase in the sub-fields. Nevertheless, the field of global interest remains at a low level. This is considerably low compared to flexibility and ability to understand other cultures, and it is expected that measures for improvement should be continuously sought. Since the understanding of other cultures has already exceeded 60 points, it is expected that the global competency of the university will be strengthened if the level is consistently maintained and the emphasis is placed on enhancing flexibility and improving global understanding. Conclusion: The importance of strengthening global capabilities is steadily rising. Universities are also reorganizing the curriculum by analyzing the needs and satisfaction of education consumers to respond to this. The programs operated and analyzed in this study were also made as part of this effort. However, since there are various factors that affect global competency, it cannot be but admitted that it is not easy to gauge the change in competency with only a few programs and short-term efforts. However, if the efforts pursued by this study are accumulated and supplemented through feedback from a long-term perspective, it can be expected that there are not a lot of contributions to strengthening global competencies in liberal arts education.

기술이전사업화 및 창업 성과에 미치는 대학의 역량요인 비교연구 (A Comparative Study of the Effect of University Competence on Technology Transfer and Commercialization and Start-ups)

  • The Korean government has been implementing diverse policies with programs to generate better outcomes and results of university-industry collaboration since 1990s. In this paper, we analyze the effect of universities' competency factors on the performance of technology commercialization and start-ups respectively. We employ multiple regression models using 154 data sets from university information posting system of the Korean Council for University Education. Through conducting statistical analyses with diverse data manipulations, we obtained a high degree of significance on hypotheses, and also could compare mutual differences between the effects of university competence on technology commercialization and start-ups. The technology transfer and commercialization specifically depends on professors' patent applications and technology holding company, while start-ups does professionals in industry-university cooperation. We suggest government to spur on the ongoing customization of university-industry collaboration policy, and university to properly cope with global atmosphere changing from ivory tower to academic capitalism and start-ups promotion.

Contingency Model to Increase the Uptake of Higher Education Graduates in the Job Market

  • This study investigates graduate competencies that can improve the uptake of higher education graduate outcomes in the working environment in Indonesia. This research was conducted by collecting data through sending questionnaires directly by the research team, via courier, or via postal service to respondents. A survey with questionnaire is carried out on April 2019, and the data from 117 respondents was analyzed. The sample population was all private higher education in the area of the I-XIV Higher Education Service Institution in Indonesia. This study employs factor analysis and structural equation modelling. The results show that the Graduates' competencies had a significant direct effect on the uptake of higher education graduates in the job market. The indirect effect of a Diploma Supplement and networking as mediation has a level of influence that is higher than the direct effect of graduate competence on the uptake of higher education graduate outcomes in the job market. The findings suggest that the Diploma Supplement and networking can increase the uptake of higher education graduates in Indonesia as expected by stakeholders and be able to compete in the global or international scale of environmental working. The professionalism of lecturers has a significant influence on the quality of learning.

기술경영 경쟁력 측정지표의 개발 (Towards Measuring Competitiveness : A Management of Technology Approach)

  • This study aims to develop a framework to measure MOT competitiveness of enterprises while proposing a concept called management of technology competitiveness (MOTC). The framework of MOTC based on both resource-based view and competence-based view is consisted of technology competitiveness and management competitiveness. A variety of metrics to measure MOTC are extracted through substantial literature review. As technology competitiveness metric, this study examines R&D investment, R&D workforce, R&D facilities, intellectual property assets, and utilization of information and communication technology; as metric of management competitiveness, leadership competitiveness, maturity of the R&D systems, collaboration and partnership, learning and innovation, and commercialization are considered. We then confirm and derive the multi-dimensions of MOTC through its reliability and validity analysis. The study is expected to provide useful guidelines and references for enterprises' self-evaluation of technology and management competitiveness that is equally applicable to small, medium, and large enterprises that must compete in the global marketplace.

간호대학생의 임상실습 전 스트레스에 미치는 영향 요인 (Influencing Factors Stress in nursing students before Clinical Practice)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 임상실습 전 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인을 조사하고자 진행되었다. 연구대상은 첫 임상실습을 앞둔 3학년을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료수집 기간은 2023년 12월 22일부터 2024년 1월 10일까지 간호대학생 191명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구도구는 스트레스(Pss), 셀프리더십, 의사소통능력(GICC) 도구를 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 사용하였다. 연구결과, 스트레스는 셀프리더십 (r=-.29, p=<.001), 의사소통능력(r=-.40, p=<.001)과 음의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 단계적 다중회귀분석에서, 간호대학생의 임상실습 전 스트레스는 성별, 학업 만족, 의사소통능력이 영향을 주는 요인으로 나타났고, 이 변수들의 설명력은 33.7%였다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 간호대학생의 임상실습 전 스트레스를 감소시킬 수 있는 교육 프로그램 개발을 고려할 필요가 있겠다.

G 대학 대학생 핵심역량 설정에 관한 융합연구 (A Convergence Study on the Core Competencies of students: G university)

  • 본 연구는 대학생 핵심역량을 기초하여 학생들에게 다양한 교육기회를 제공하고 산업변화에 따른 산업인력 수요에 적합한 대학인력 양성이 가능하도록 대학생의 핵심역량을 설정하고자 시도되었다. 연구절차는 핵심역량에 대한 문헌고찰과 학생, 교수, 산업체, 학부모 대상의 핵심역량의 중요도에 대한 조사 및 전문가의 타당도를 통해 대학생 핵심역량을 설정하였다. 연구결과 문헌고찰을 통해 14개의 역량을 도출하였으며, 재학생, 졸업생, 교수 대상으로 중요도와 전문가 타당도를 통해 창의력, 문제해결능력, 자기주도능력의 종합적 문제해결역량, 전문지식보유능력, 정보처리능력, 기술활용능력의 산업체맞춤전문역량, 배려 섬김인성, 사회봉사의 실천 나눔역량, 의사소통능력의 의사소통역량, 자기관리능력, 대인관계능력, 리더십, 외국어 능력, 글로벌 역량의 글로컬 리더십의 최종 5대 핵심역량과 세부 14개 하위 역량이 설정되었다. 본 연구결과에 기초하여 교육과정 개발과 운영에 적용하여 대학생들의 역량을 증진시키고, 향후 역량측정도구 개발을 통해 역량증진 정도를 파악하는 것이 필요하다.

학생주도 창의융합 프로젝트 교육 모델 개발 (Development of Learner-centered Hybrid Project Learning Program)

  • 본고는 학생주도 창의융합 프로젝트식 교육 모델의 설계와 시행을 통해 21세기에 요구되는 창의적 공학인재 양성을 위한 교육의 새로운 방법론을 제시하고 그 성과에 대해 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 먼저, 공학적 창의성에 대한 개념과 R&D 3.0 및 교육3.0의 구체적 내용을 검토하였다. R&D 3.0과 교육 3.0의 내용검토를 통해 기술과 인문을 융합할 수 있는 융합 역량과 국제 협력 역량 강화를 지향하는 학생 주도의 프로젝트식 교육의 필요성을 확인하였고, 공학적 창의성에 대한 논의를 통해 기술의 사회인문학적 맥락을 읽을 수 있는 인문사회적 소양 교육과 경험 중심의 현장 교육 및 집단적 창의성을 함양할 수 있는 팀 기반 교육의 필요성을 도출하였다. 이를 바탕으로, 학생주도 창의융합 프로젝트인 공학도를 위한 Global Engineering Project(이하 GEP) 프로그램을 설계하고 이를 3차에 걸쳐 시행한 후, 시행 결과를 바탕으로 프로그램의 성과와 기대 효과를 정리하였다.

양육행동에 대한 어머니 신념과 아동의 자기능력 지각과의 관계 (A Study on the Relationship with Maternal Beliefs on the Child Rearing and Children's Self-perceptions)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between mother's beliefs on child rearing and children's self-perceptions. The subject of this study were comprised of 167 children aged 8-10 in Iksan & Kunsan city from Dec. 2 to Dec. 8, 2000. The children's self-perceptions were assessed by the self perceptions profile for children. Mother's beliefs questionnaire, developed by Okagaki and Sternberg, was used to obtain the data on mother's beliefs of parenting. The methods of analyses included basic descriptive categorical analysis as well as t-test, one way ANOVA-test, and multiple regression analyses. The major findings from the analyses are as follows: First, a significant difference was found in the degree of mother's beliefs about child rearing by mother's religion(p<.01), mother's education(p<.05), income(p<.001), level of life (p<.0l), mother's job, mother and fathers' agreement of child rearing(p<.05), relationship between mother and child(p<.05) in independence but a significant difference was not found in the degree of mother's beliefs about child rearing in accommodation. Second, the levels of children's scholastic performance were related to higher levels of mother's education(p<.001), mother's income(p<.001), mother and fathers' agreement of child rearing(p<.01). The levels of children's social competence was related to higher, child's gender (p<.01); girls were higher than boys. The levels of children's athletic abilities were not significant. The levels of children's physical appearance was related to higher levels of mother's education(p<.01), mother's income(p<.01), level of life(p<.05), mother's marriage(not divorce)(p<.01). The levels of children's behavioral conduct were related to higher levels of child's gender (p<.05), mother's education(p<.01), mother's income (p<.01), relationship between father and child(p<.0l). The levels of children's global self worth were related to higher levels of mother's age(p<.05), mother's education(p<.001), level of life(p<.05). Third according to the multiple regression analyses for the relationships between mother's beliefs about child rearing and children's self perceptions, mother's beliefs on the creativity were related to higher levels of children's scholastic performance, social competence, and mother's beliefs on the problem solving skills to higher levels of children's behavioral conduct and mother's beliefs on the accommodation to lower levels of children's scholastic performance, social conduct.

간호대학생들의 세계시민의식과 문화적 역량 (Global Citizenship and Cultural Competency in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생들의 세계시민의식과 문화적 역량 간의 상관관계를 알아보고, 간호 대학생의 문화적 역량에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하는 것이다. 연구대상은 G시에 소재한 169명의 간호대학생들이 모집되었다. 본 연구의 자료는 자가보고형 설문지를 이용하여 수집하였고, SPSS 24.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 대상자의 세계시민의식 점수는 5점 만점에 평균 3.68±0.46점 이었으며, 문화적 역량 점수는 5점 만점에 평균 3.06±0.49점 이었다. 대상자의 문화적 역량은 세계시민 역량의 하위영역인 지구공동체 의식 (r=.0.48, p<0.01), 다국적 의식(r=.0.42, p<.001), 시민의식(r=.0.27, p<.001), 국가정체 의식(r=.0.32, p<.001)과 유의한 정적 상관관계를 나타내었다. 또한 세계시민의식의 하위영역에서 지구공동체의식, 다국적 의식, 국가정체의식이 간호 대학생의 문화적 역량을 설명하는 유의한 변수였으며(F=17.28, p<.001), 설명력은 총 29%였다. 본 연구를 통해 세계시민의식이 높을수록 문화적 역량이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 세계시민의식의 하부영역인 지구공동체의식, 국가정체의식, 다국적 의식이 문화적 역량에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 간호 대학생들을 위해 문화역량교육프로그램은 문화역량 향상을 위한 이러한 요소들에 초점을 맞춰야 하겠다.
