Malaria is a potent burden on public healthcare worldwide due to requiring rapid diagnosis and treatment. Nowadays, prompt diagnosis with rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs) has been widely accepted as an effective diagnostic technique in malaria-endemic countries, primarily due to their easy operation, fast output, and straightforward interpretation. The global availability and use of RDTs have gradually grown over recent decades as field-applicable diagnostic tests for the reliable confirmation of malaria infection and proper case management. This study was conducted to evaluate diagnostic performance of 3 commercially available malaria RDT kits : BIOCREDIT^TM Malaria Ag Pf(pLDH), Malaria Ag Pf(pLDH/pHRPII), and Malaria Ag Pf/Pv(pLDH/pLDH) (where pLDH and pHRPII stand for plasmodium lactate dehydrogenase and histidine-rich protein 2, respectively) for the specific detection of Plasmodium falciparum. A total of 1,129 blood samples including 95 blood samples, confirmed as vivax malaria infection by microscopic examinations and a nested-PCR method, were tested for falciparum malaria infection. The overall sensitivity and specificity of Malaria Ag Pf(pLDH/pHRPII), Malaria Ag Pf/Pv(pLDH/pLDH), and Pf(pLDH) for P. falciparum were 99.0% and 100%, 95.8% and 100%, and 100% and 100%, respectively. It is proposed that the 3 RDT kits perform reliable level of diagnostic accuracy of detection for P. falciparum parasites.

This paper examines critical successful elements related to the management of new product development process. For this, we have selected a VK-X100, slim bar type cellular phone, produced by VK mobile co., which was thought as a successful product development case and then analysed the case from a concept driven strategic product development's point of view. We have performed in-depth interviews with project managers, engineers and designers to get information on the product development process and analysed huge amount of data obtained from web-sites, global market indicators, and related firms' materials to find a changing trend of market conditions. The findings suggest that the successful new Product development and management is shaped by a number of different factors, such as the business environments, firm's technological level, firm's deep market insight capabilities, nature of the product development activities, and so on. Finally, we suggested the limitation of our research and further research subjects that would be required to support our findings.

Apraxia of phonation (AOP) has often been described as a feature of apraxia of speech or of severe non-fluent type of aphasia. Pure AOP is rare and, to our knowledge, only two cases have been reported. Brain lesion sites of the reported cases were not those sites known to be responsible for apraxia of speech. This study presents a case of AOP which resulted from the secondary stroke in the left corona radiata immediately following the first stroke in the left temporoparietal lobe. A 61-year old right-handed man shwoed a global type of aphasia after the first cerebral infarction, but was able to generate spontaneously some short fragments of speech. On the day after the first infarction, he suffered from the secondary infarction, leaving him a complete loss of voluntary phonation. He did not showed any significant change in language functions. Several occurrences of involuntary phonation were observed upon laughing or crying. He was also able to cough unintentionally. A vidoe-stroboscopic examination failed to reveal any evidence of structural and functional impairment in larynx. Although this case is not of pure form of AOP, AOP appeared after the secondary stroke without significant changes of language impairment since the first stroke. Therefore, AOP may be a consequence of the brain lesion from the secondary stroke even though we cannot rule out the possibility of an additive effect of the secondary to the first stroke.

The dimensional accuracy and global roughness between successive layers of VLM-s, which is a new rapid prototyping process using hotwire cutter and EPS foam, depend significantly on the operating parameters of hotwire cutter. In the present study, the effect of cutting angle on the kerf width and edge shape in hotwire cutting of EPS foam for the case of single-sloped cutting with one cutting angle was investigated. Through single-sloped cutting tests, the modified relationship between kerf width and effective heat input, considering the effect of the cutting angle, and the relationship between the melted area and the cutting angle were obtained. In order to investigate the effect of cutting angles on the thermal field in EPS foam, transient heat transfer analyses using single-sloped volumetric heat flux model and locally-conformed mesh were performed. Through the comparison between experimental and numerical results, it was shown that the proposed analysis model is needed to estimate the three-dimensional temperature distribution of the EPS foam for the case of single-sloped hotwire cutting.

Objectives This study aimed to report significant improvement of dizziness, gait disturbance and dysarthria after treatment with Sasang constitutional medicine treatment on a Taeeumin patient with olivopontocerebellar atrophy. Methods A 53-year-old female diagnosed olivopontocerebellar atrophy about one year ago suffered from dizziness, gait disturbance and dysarthria. The patient was identified as Taeeumin Joyeol pattern and treated with Cheongsimyeonja-tang and Taegeuk acupuncture. The patient's main symptoms were observed using Global Assessment Scale (GAS) during the treatment period. In addition, the Unified Multiple System Atrophy Rating Scale (UMSARS) was used to assess the overall function of patient. Results We observed a significant improvement in symptoms of dizziness, gait disturbance and dysarthria using GAS, and UMSARS score decreased in Part I and II. Conclusions This case showed that Sasang constitutional medicine treatment can be effective treatment for Taeeumin patient with olivopontocerebellar atrophy. We consider that consistent treatment can contribute to improve the patient's quality of life.

A 52-year-old female diagnosed with Atypical Parkinsonian Disorders (APD) about one year ago suffered from dizziness and gait disturbance. The patient was identified as Taeeumin esophagus-cold lung-dry symptomatology pattern and was treated with Jowisengcheong-tang. The patient's symptoms of dizziness and night sweats were assessed using Global Assessment Scale (GAS). And, the Unified Multiple System Atrophy Rating Scale (UMSARS) and the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale (MDS-UPDRS) were used to assess the overall function of the patient. The patient's symptoms of dizziness and night sweats were significantly improved, and UMSARS and MDS-UPDRS scores were decreased. This case showed that Sasang constitutional medicine treatment can improve APD symptoms and improve the quality of life of the patient.

This study is a basic study for establishing a comprehensive operation plan for the Incheon Global Campus Library in preparation for the 4th Industrial Revolution and the post-corona era. Based on this, it was intended to propose a direction for establishing a comprehensive operation plan in the future. As a result of the study, in the case of the first collection, a mid- to long-term plan for continuous expansion of the collection is required, and in particular, it seems that the expansion of major-related collections is necessary. In the case of the second service, it is necessary to support users' research by providing information services customized for each stage of research by users, information services customized for researchers, and research support services for departments, and it is necessary to provide information utilization education programs. Third, in the case of space, IGC users have very high demands for learning and research space, so it is necessary to improve education and related spaces that users want through space reorganization in the future. It is also necessary to expand the creative collaboration space as a place closely related to the lives of students, such as rest, etc. Lastly, in order to activate the homepage in relation to the homepage and information system, it is necessary to first expand the various contents and up-to-date data that users want on the homepage. In addition, it seems that the domestic electronic journal and DB provision plan should be implemented.

This work focuses on the implementation and optimization of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System(AS/RS) which is associated with Logistics Information System(LIS). We survey literature and present a case study for the optimization of Logistics System. In the case study, we examine the adaptation and implementation of AS/RS after we analyzed the processes of the company. Logistics Information System is an important component to keep up with the competitive advantage in the global business environments. The company in the case applies LIS to its efficient physical distribution management. AS/RS leads to some benefits; maximized storage space, increased productivity, reduced labor costs and human error, and improved accuracy. AS/RS is found especially effective when working with narrow aisles and extremely high racks.

Since the Intelligent Building was first introduced in early 1980s, It has been studied and designed by related technical experts as it was called by the name of intelligent Building, High-tech Intelligence Building, High-capacity Building, Intellectual Building, etc. Despite the need for new concept as the relation between global environment and architecture has become an issue on a full scale since 1990s and with the development of high technology, former concept is maintained without modification or complement. Especially, attempt to combine industrial technology with architecture is essential to Intelligent Building, therefore frequent opportunity of self-innovation according to the development of technology is necessary. Due to the rarity of the high-technology and its high cost, it was adopted to large-scale construction, however, nowadays, almost all kinds of buildings are getting designed with intelligent-technology. Therefore we can expect that this trend will be accelerated by evolution of technology and will position as a major stream of future architecture along with environment-friendly architecture. Through this process, we should fully be aware of the importance of the several intelligent skin technology to protect global environment and to set future direction in architecture.

In-app advertisement is a fast-growing trend in mobile advertising, where user acceptance of ads is facilitated by the fact that users have voluntarily downloaded the app through which the ad is served. However, research in this ad category is limited. This study applies an extended version of the theory of planned behavior. Analysis results from 412 young mobile users in Vietnam using structural equation modeling showed that while localization and perceived enjoyment affected user intention to watch in-app ads as expected, perceived behavioral control and trust did not. Such results may be due to embedding the ads to applications, confusing users' behavioral intentions. The results underline the need for more future research in the area. In practical terms, companies should improve localization and entertainment aspects of ads to create more relevant and engaging advertisements.
