  • In the study of normal (complex analytic) surface singularities, it is interesting to investigate the invariants. The purpose of this paper is to give a characterization of the vanishing of ${\delta}_2$. In [11], we gave characterizations of minimally elliptic singularities and rational triple points in terms of th.. second plurigenera ${\delta}_2$ and ${\gamma}_2$. In this paper, we also give a characterization of rational triple points in terms of a certain computation sequence. To prove our main theorems, we give two formulae for ${\delta}_2$ and ${\gamma}_2$ of rational surface singularities.

  • The purpose of this paper is to define a new class of hyperholomorphic functions spaces, which will be called $F^{\alpha}_{{\omega},G}$(p, q, s) type spaces. For this class, we characterize hyperholomorphic weighted ${\alpha}$-Bloch functions by functions belonging to $F^{\alpha}_{{\omega},G}$(p, q, s) spaces under some mild conditions. Moreover, we give some essential properties for the extended weighted little ${\alpha}$-Bloch spaces. Also, we give the characterization for the hyperholomorphic weighted Bloch space by the integral norms of $F^{\alpha}_{{\omega},G}$(p, q, s) spaces of hyperholomorphic functions. Finally, we will give the relation between the hyperholomorphic ${\mathcal{B}}^{\alpha}_{{\omega},0}$ type spaces and the hyperholomorphic valued-functions space $F^{\alpha}_{{\omega},G}$(p, q, s).

  • Irradiation of the berberinephenolbetaine in a stream of argon produced the 8,14-cycloberberines [1]. On treatment with ethylchloroformate $C_8-N$ bond cleavage of the compound [1] occurred, accompanied with dehydrochlorination to give 7-ethylcarboxyisoquinoline [3], and the product [3] treated with strong alkali solution to give the 13-oxonorotensane [4] in 64% yield. Irradiation of the compound [4] converted easily to dihydro-8H-dibenzo[a, g] quinolizine-8-one [5]. and then the compound [5] was treated with methyliodide to give the 8-oxo-quinolizinium methiode. The intermediate colume chromatography on IRA-400 afforded the benzo[c, g]azecine-5-one[6] in 63% yield. The results of biological activities for these compounds are also presented.

  • This study is to investigate the effect of C factor errors on the analysis of water distribution systems. For this purpose, an artificial distribution network and a real distribution network were selected as the study networks. Results are as follows. 1. The C factor of a pipe which has small velocity didn't give significant effect on the analysis of a water distribution system. 2. The effect of decreased value of C factors give more influence on the analysis of water distribution systems than that of the increased values. 3. For the C factor calibration, errors of the residual water heads as well as those of the head losses should be considered together. 4. In the analysis of water distribution systems, changes of C factors can give influences only on the nodes which locate behind the pipe. Therefore, this characteristics should be considered in the selection of nodes for the measurement of water heads.

  • This paper presents an LMI-based method to design a integral sliding mode controller for a class of uncertain time-delay systems. Using LMIs we derive an existence condition of a sliding surface guaranteeing the asymptotic stability of the sliding mode dynamics. And we give a switching feedback control law. Our method is a generalization of the previous integral sliding mode control design methods. Since our method is based on LMIs, it gives design flexibility for combining various useful design criteria that can be captured in the LMI-based formulation. We also give LMI existence conditions of sliding surfaces guaranteeing a-stability or LQ performance constraint. Finally, we give a numerical design example to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • In the relationship between a strategy and an outcome of new product development, a sample that can most give priority to a cost-price and a consumer is reflected in the result of financial affairs and non-financial affairs the most. A sample that can more give priority to a cost-price more is reflected in the result of financial affairs more. And a sample that can more give priority to a consumer is reflected in the result of non-financial affairs more. In accordance with this consequence, there is a close correlation in the analytical type between a new product developmental strategy and a new product developmental outcome.

  • The purpose of this paper is to construct a new family of the special numbers which are related to the Fubini type numbers and the other well-known special numbers such as the Apostol-Bernoulli numbers, the Frobenius-Euler numbers and the Stirling numbers. We investigate some fundamental properties of these numbers and polynomials. By using generating functions and their functional equations, we derive various formulas and relations related to these numbers and polynomials. In order to compute the values of these numbers and polynomials, we give their recurrence relations. We give combinatorial sums including the Fubini type numbers and the others. Moreover, we give remarks and observation on these numbers and polynomials.

  • This paper attempts to investigate the effect of proteolytic enzyme on the absorption and excretion of pyrazinamide. The rat small intestinal absorption of pyrazinamide in the presence of proteolytic enzyme such as chymotrypsin and compounding enzyme (chymotrypsin and trypsin) are increasingly absorbed, but in the trypsin are similar to that of control. Blood levels of pyrazinamide after rabbit's duodenum injection are significantly enhenced to correspond to 112-120% by proteolytic enzymes concentration respectively, but both on the high concentration of chymotrypsin and the low concentration of trypsin are insignificantly enhenced. Proteolytic enzymes do not give the effect on clearance of pyrazinamide. Proteolytic enzymes give the effect on absorption of pyrazinamide, but do not give the effect on excretion of pyrazinamide.

  • The purposes of the study are to find out the effect of clothing colors on perception of stimulus ages, occupations and images using stereotyping and color vision theories. The research method is a qualitative study and materials developed for the study are a set of stimuli and open-ended responses. The subjects were 1138 undergraduate students in Taejoen city, Chungbuk province. The data is analyze using content analysis, supplementary frequency and χ²analysis. The results are as follows : 1) The colors in Korean traditional costumes affected on the wearer's age perception : The red ensemble give the wearer the youngest look while the gray give the oldest look. 2) Mono-color ensemble wearers tend to give older look than bi-color ensemble wearers. 3) The chima colors and the jogori colors have similar impact on the wearer's age perception. 4) On image perception the jogori colors have more impact than the chima colors. 5) The colors in Korean traditional costumes are the clues to estimate the wearer's occupation.

  • Diazotization of 3-amino-2-ethoxycarbonylthieno[2,3-b]quinoxaline 1 gave the diazonium salt 2 which was reacted with SO2 and N-methylaniline to give sulfamoylquinoxaline derivatives 3-5. Imidazothienoquinoxaline 8 was obtained from the reaction of carboxylic acid hydrazide 6 with nitrous acid and followed by boilling the carboazide 7 in dry xylene. Also, compound 6 react with CH(OEt)3 to give aminopyrimidine 9 which was reacted with arylidene malonodinitrile, furfural and/or dimethoxy-tetrahydrofuran to afford compounds 10, 11 and/or 12 respectively. Refluxing of 6 with CS2 gave oxadiazolylthienoquinoxaline 13, reaction of 13 with hyrazine hydrate, CH(OEt)3, nitrous acid, CS2 and a-halocompounds to give 14-19.
