Inverted maxillary incisor is that maxillary incisor rotates counterclockwise direction. The cause of this 'Inverted incisor' is the injury of the deciduous predecessor transmitted to the developing permanent tooth germ or displacement of permanent tooth crown portion from unknown origin. Dilaceration, defined as a distorted root from, may result from mechanical injury during eruption period or ectopic development of tooth germ. This article presents a case of an inverted and dilacerated maxillary right central incisor. Through orthodontic traction, the dilacerated and inverted incisor was successfully moved into the proper position.

Collection of large number of gonadal Primordial germ cells(gPGCs) is a prerequisite factor for improving germline transmission efficacy in the aves, In this study a magnetic-activated cell sorter(MACS) was applied for improving retrieval efficacy of quail gPGCs and the migration capacity of MACS-separated gPGCs was further examined after being transplanted to recipient embryos. We also induced germline chimeras by transfer of MACS-separated quail gPGCs at the efficiency of 17.4% on average.

The malignant germ cell tumor found in the gonad can originate in the anterior mediastinum. Endodermal sinus tumor[Yolk sac tumor] is a kind of malignant germ cell tumor and is derived from extra-embryonic mesoderm. We experienced a case of primary mediastinal endodermal sinus tumor occurred in 22 year old male patient. His chief complaint was anterior chest pain for 2 days. The tumor located in the anterior mediastinum and invaded upper lobe of the deft lung and pericardium. A left upper lobe resection including phrenic nerve and pericardium was performed and the tumor in the anterior mediastinum was excised. The patient has been treated with combination chemotherapy[Cis-platinum, Vincristine, Actinomycin-D, & Cyclophosphamide} and followed up for 4 months with partial remission.

The objective of the present study was to investigate the survival effect after transplantation of pig spermatogonia cells into mouse testis. Donor cells were collected from porcine testis and the isolated spermatogonial stem cells were labeled with a fluorescent marker before transplantation and transplanted into testes of busulfan-treated recipient mice. Testes were examined for the presence and localization of labeled donor cells immediately after transplantation or every week for 4 wk. Transplanted germ cells were present in the seminiferous epithelium at 4 weeks after the transplantation, but any differentiating porcine-derived cells were not detected in mouse testis. These results indicate that porcine-derived spermatogonial stem cells can be survived in the recipient, but suggest that porcine-derived male stem cells can not proceed to further differentiating step without helping of immunosuppressor agents.
