파수영역매칭을 통한 링 형상의 음향집적공간 형성 (Ring-shaped Sound Focusing using Wavenumber Domain Matching)

  • Shaped Sound Focusing is defined as the generation of acoustically bright shape in space using multiple sources. The acoustically bright shape is a spatially focused region with relatively high acoustic potential energy level. In view of the energy transfer, acoustical focusing is essential because acoustic energy is very small to use other type of energy. Practically, focused sound shape control not a point is meaningful because there are so many needs to enlarge the focal region especially in clinical uses and others. If focused sound shape can be controlled, it offers various kinds of solutions for clinical uses and others because a regional focusing is essentially needed to reduce a treatment time and enhance the performance of transducers. For making the shaped-sound field, control variables, such as a number of sources, excitation frequency, source positioning, etc., should be taken according to geometrical sound shape. To verify these relations between them, wavenumber domain matching method is suggested because wavenumber spectrum can provide the information of control variables of sources. In this paper, the procedures of shaped sound focusing using wavenumber domain matching and relations between control variables and geometrical sound shape are covered in case of an acoustical ring.

  • 본 연구에서는 채널단면을 갖는 캔틸레버 복합적층 구조물의 안정성에 다루었다. 보다 합리적이고 효율적인 설계의 기초자료를 제시하고자 채널단면의 길이비와 곡절각도 등과 같은 기하학적 형상변화와 화이버의 보강각도에 따른 좌굴거동을 분석하고, 그에 따른 상호작용에 의한 안정성을 파악하였다. 이를 근거로 캔틸레버 복합적층 구조물의 적절한 채널단면 및 복합재료의 적층구조형식 등을 공학적 측면에서 고찰하고 제시하였다.

마이크로스피커 진동판의 등가탄성과 공명진동수의 연관성 (Relationship Between Geometrical Stiffness of Diaphragm and Resonance Frequency for Micro-speaker)

  • Information technology devices, such as cellular phones, MP3s and so on, due to restrictions of space, require thin and small micro-speakers to generate sound. The reduction of the size of micro-speakers has resulted in the decrease of sound quality, due to such factors as frequency range and sound pressure level. In this study, the acoustical properties of oval microspeakers has been studied as a function of pattern shape on the diaphragm. The other conditions of micro-speakers, except for the pattern, was not changed. When the pattern is present on the diaphragm and the shape of pattern was a whirlwind, the resonance frequency was reduced due to the decrease of tensile strength of diaphragm. The patterns presented in the semi-minor axis of diaphragm did not effect a change of resonance frequency. However, increasing the number of patterns in the semimajor axis of diaphragm became a reason for the decrease of resonance frequency on edge side. When the depth of pattern on edge side was increased, the resonance frequency was decreased due to reduction of geometrical stiffness. If the height of edge and dome were increased, the resonance frequency and geometrical stiffness rapidly increased. After reaching the maximum values, they began to decrease with the continuous increase of height.

  • We consider geometrical conditions of liquid crystals of bent-shape molecules that result in optically isotropic antiferroelectric structure that can be reversibly switched to birefringent states. An example of an ester based banana-shape substance is discussed that almost fulfills the ideal conditions and provides fast electro-optical switching with or without crossed polarizers.

  • The formed tool is used to machine the geometrical shape of bearing rubber seal efficiently. The bearing rubber seal has complex geometry for the complicated geometrical shape to prevent leakage of lubricant oil and influx of the dust effectively. Because it is difficult to machine the unique shape exactly by the conventional tool, the formed tool is used in machining a rubber seal die. In this paper, It is performed to investigate machining characteristic of the formed tool; cutting edge wear, cutting force, and surface quality. Also, an efficient precision machining condition is proposed, and the inspection results of rubber seal with CAI are discussed.

트위스트 드릴제작을 위한 나선형 홈가공의 기하학적인 해석 (Geometrical Analysis of Helical Groove Machining for Manufacture of Twist Drill)

  • To facilitate the manufacturing of dull using CNC grinding machine, the simulation of helical groove machining with given wheel profile and setting condition is necessary. Considering the wheel as a collection of thin disks, the flute configuration is predicted in a cross section perpendicular to the axis and the grinding wheel profile is also predicted to machine the desired helical groove with given setting conditions. Two programs for these processes are developed. Using programs interactively, the helical groove machining process can be predicted more accurately. By clarifying the geometrical relation between the shape of cutting edge and the flute configuration in the cross section which is perpendicular to drill axis, it becomes possible to predict the necessary cross sectional shape of wheel for desired drill cutting edge shape. Some factors for the software are considered concerning prediction of accuracy and computing time.

Because it is difficult to machine the unique shape exactly by the conventional tool, the formed tool is used in machining mold of the seal. In this paper, It is performed for selection of the formed tool to investigate cutting edge wear, cutting force, and surface quality. Also, an efficient high precision machining is proposed on the experiment data.

  • TRNSYS 16 had just a wall area and azimuth as an input value about a building shape. So, a geometrical shape of a building was not considered in simulation using TRNSYS 16. In this study, we suggested the more appropriate modeling method for simulation considering of building geometry in TRNSYS 16. To suggest this method, we simulated energy needs affected by shading effect that caused by a geometrical shape of a building, and compared the result to the simulation result of non-shading environment.

  • 3차원 형상화를 통한 분석이 많은 분야에서 연구 및 적용되고 있다. 3차원 형상화는 사진영상의 중첩에서 (3차원)레이저 스캐닝(laser scanning)으로 발전을 하여 가고 있으며, 각 방법이 각기 그 자체로서 발전을 해가고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구에서는 물체에 대한 데이터베이스를 구축하여 대상 이미지에 대하여 기하학적 패턴 매칭(patter matching)을 기반으로 한 인지(인식) 알고리즘을 도입하여 3차원 형상화를 통한 지질 및 지반조사를 위한 기초 기술로 활용하고자 하였다. 물체의 외형적인 성질에 기반하며 특별한 광원없이 물체를 인지할 수 있는 3차원 형상화 알고리즘은 지질 및 지반조사 분야 외에서도 많은 도움이 될 것이다.

  • This paper addresses the product shape modification for spring-back reduction in the sheet metal forming process of the cabin sunroof which is applied to the construction equipment. Initially, the anisotropic material properties are measured in order to calculate the degree of spring-back by the numerical simulation of the sheet metal forming process. To reduce the spring-back of the stamped part, several design modifications are suggested according to the geometrical bead arrangement on the planar region. The degrees of spring-back are confirmed for various product designs with different use of the geometrical bead. Finally, the spring-back improvement was validated by manufacturing the tryout product with the modified die set for the optimized product shape.
