One of organization's generic functions is the interpretation of events to carry out decision-making activities. In intelligent Data Interpretation System(IDIS), Interpreting is computationally modeled as classification of new data into categories having similar features. We define the Extensional Object Model(ExOM) as a formalism for IDIS. In ExOM, objects and categories are loosely coupled to provide flexibility for both object description and category definition in data gathering and interpretation process. Objects are classified inductively based on exemplars of categories as well as deductively based on category structures.

This paper presents the system demonstrator for an optical fiber sensor system developed as a technological evaluator suitable for generic sensric sensing applications. The new type of fiber-optic sensor employed a diaphragm displacement transforms pressure into optical intensity. Form this sensing technique, we can know the variation of source intensity, the loss of a optical fiber, and the reflectivity of the diaphragm surface. Experimental results are applied to the low-pressure transducer suitable for measuring miniature pressure.

Let M and N be CR manifolds with nondegenerate Levi forms of hypersurface type of dimension 2m ＋ 1 and 2n ＋ 1, respectively, where 1 $\leq$ m $\leq$ n. Let f : M longrightarrow N be a CR mapping. Under a generic assumption we construct a complete system of finite order for the infinitesimal deformations of f. In particular, we prove the space of infinitesimal deformations of f forms a finite dimensional Lie algebra.

We establish a link between the study of completely integrable systems of partial differential equations and the study of generic submanifolds in $\mathbb{C}$. Using the recent developments of Cauchy-Riemann geometry we provide the set of symmetries of such a system with a Lie group structure. Finally we determine the precise upper bound of the dimension of this Lie group for some specific systems of partial differential equations.

최근 사용자에게 친근감있는 인터페이스를 제공하기 위해 자연스러운 얼굴 애니메이션에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행 중이다. 얼굴은 인간의 신체부위 중 가장 쉽게 개개인을 구분할 수 있고, 감정과 정서 등의 내적 상태를 명백하게 이해할 수 있도록 해주는 중요한 의사소통의 수단으로 여겨지고 있다. 이러한 얼굴은 이용하여 인간과 컴퓨터간의 의사 전달에 있어서 효율적으로 인간의 감정을 인식하고 전달하여 대화할 수 있도록 하기 위해서 컴퓨터상의 얼굴은 인간과 유사하게 대화할 수 있고, 감정을 표현할 수 있도록 친숙하고 현실감이 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 자연스러운 얼굴의 합성을 위한 얼굴 모델링 및 애니메이션 방법을 제안하였다. 특정한 사람을 모델로 한 얼굴 애니메이션을 위하여 우선 3차원 메쉬로 구성된 일반 모델(generic model)을 특성 사람에게 정합하여 특정인의 3차원 얼굴 모델을 얻을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존 연구들과 다르게 표준 한국인 얼굴을 이용한 일반 모델을 생성하여, 임의의 얼굴에 대하여 좀 더 정확하고 자연스러운 3차원 모델이 이루어질 수 있도록 하였다. 그리고 얼굴 표정합성을 위하여, 실제 얼굴의 근육 및 피부 조직 등 해부학적 구조에 기반한 근육 기반 모델 방법을 사용하여 현실감 있고 자연스러운 얼굴 애니메이션이 이루어질 수 있도록 하였다. 이러한 얼굴 모델링 및 합성 기술은 화상회의, 가상현실, 교육, 영화 등 여러 분야에서 활용될 수 있다.

원자력 사고로 인한 비상시에는 적기에 주민 보호조치를 취해야 한다. 주민 보호조치에 대한 결정기준은 국제적으로 비용-이득 분석에 의해 산정된 일반개입준위와 일반조치준위를 사용토록 제안되어 있다. 운영개입준위는 이러한 일반준위를 직접 또는 쉽게 측정할 수 있는 물리량으로 나타낸 것이다. 비상시 보호조치의 필요성을 판단하기 위해서는 운영개입준위를 적용하고 수정하는 데 요구되는 환경감시 자료를 신속히 생산하는 것이 중요하다. 비상대응의 일환으로서 이를 위해 무슨 일들이 어떻게 수행되어야 하는지 고찰하였다. 비상시 환경감시를 효과적으로 수행하기 위해서는 평상시에 조직과 설비의 유지 관리, 각종 절차 수립, 지원용 전산체제 개발, 주기적인 교육과 훈련 등 철저한 준비가 필요하다. 일반개입준위와 운영개입준위에 관한 우리나라의 규정이 보완 또는 신설될 필요가 있음이 지적되었다.

시멘틱 웹의 대두로 인해 웹 상에서 데이터를 접근 할 수 있는 방법도 다양화 되었다. 이에 현재 진행되고 있는 웹 온톨로지 뿐만 아니라 기존에 구축된 지식베이스 시스템에 접근하여 데이터를 핸들링 할 수 있는 모델이 필요하다. 웹 온톨로지를 표현하기 위한 언어로 RDF(Resource Description Framework), DAML-OIL, OWL(Web Ontology Language)등이 사용되고 있다. 본 논문은 웹 온톨로지와 기존의 구축된 지식 베이스의 데이터를 접근, 표현 및 처리할 수 있는 온톨로지 객체 모델의 생성과 그 방법에 관한 것이다. 웹 온톨로지에 대한 접근 방법으로 각각의 언어에 맞는 파서(Parser)를 이용하여 메모리 상에 모델을 생성하여 접근하게 되어 있는 기존의 방법과는 다르게 본 논문에서는 웹 온톨로지를 표현하기 위한 모델을 계층별로 구별하여 프레임 기반의 상위 온톨로지(frame-based ontology layer), 다른 도메인에서도 사용이 가능한 공통된 어휘(vocabulary)를 표현한 핵심 온톨로지(generic ontology layer)와 각각의 온톨로지 언어에 의존적인 어휘를 표현한 기능 온톨로지(functional ontology layer)로 구성한다. 이는 표현의 중복을 없애고 재 사용성을 높이기 위한 모델을 제공함으로써, 외부 어플리케이션(온톨로지 추론, 온톨로지 병합, 온톨로지 저작 도구 등)에서의 온톨로지에 대한 쉬운 지식 표현과 접근 및 핸들링을 제공할 수 있다.

A new medical system was started in Korea in 2000 and pharmaceutical affairs law was revised in 2001. According to the revised law, generic substitution is permitted only to the drug products which are proven to be bioequivalent to the reference listed drugs. To expand the list of bioequivalence-proven drug products and to ensure the credibility of the therapeutic equivalence of generic drug are the hot issues in Korea. Also, the KFDA has a plan to revise the pharmaceutical affairs law that bioequivalence reports of all the generic prescription drug products should be submitted to the KFDA for drug approval after July in 2004. Therefore, it is increasing the necessity to develop the bioequivalence-demonstrating methods for specific drug substances and preparations which require to conduct food-effect bioavailability or bioequivalence study. There are some differences between US and Japanese guidances of food-effect bioavailability and bioequivalence studies. In this paper, we examined the recently published US guidance about food-effect study and it will be a reference to make our own guidance about food-effect bioavailability and bioequivalence guidances in Korea.

본 논문에서는 VSAT 기반 위성통신 시스템에서 효율적인 인터넷 서비스 제공을 위한 계층 간 프로토콜 연동 구조 모델을 제시하고 이를 구현하여 제안된 모델의 동작을 검증한다. VSAT 기반 위성통신 시스템은 대부분 DVB-S2 표준을 사용한다. 그러나 DVB-S2는 방송 서비스 중심으로 설계되었기 때문에 IP 기반 인터넷 프로토콜을 지원하기에는 비효율성이 많이 존재한다. 이를 해결하기 위해 계층 2 프로토콜인 generic stream encapsulation (GSE)가 제정되었다. 본 논문은 IP 프로토콜과 GSE 프로토콜과의 연동, GSE 프로토콜과 DVB-S2와의 연동 방법에 대해 제안한다. 또한 컴퓨터 소프트웨어를 이용하여 제안된 계층 간 연동 프로토콜을 구현하고 NI사의 universal software radio peripheral (USRP) 및 상용 DVB 수신기를 통해 구현된 내용의 동작을 검증한다.

After new medical system of separation of dispensary from medical practice was started in 2000 in Korea, to expand bioequivalence-proven drug products and to ensure the credibility of the therapeutic equivalence of generic drugs are hot issues in Korea. It will be obligatory to submit bioequivalence reports for getting licenses of all generic prescription drugs in the near future. Like other countries such as US and Japan, the KFDA also has a plan to re-evaluate the already approved drugs by bioequivalence studies. Therefore, it becomes more necessary to develop bioequivalence-demonstrating methods for specific preparations such as topical drug products among already approved drug products. There are some differences between US and Japanese guidances of bioequivalence studies of generic drug products for topical use. The information on Japanese guidance and the guidance's Q&As is already provided in our previous paper. In this paper, we examined the US guideline published in 1995 and compared with the Japanese guideline, which will give a useful information to make a guidance on bioequivalence studies of topical drug products in Korea.
