  • 본 논문은 모바일 클라이언트-서버(Mobile Client-Server) 환경에서 모바일 데이터베이스 시스템 특성상 가질 수 있는 무선 네트워크의 약한 연결성 및 접속성 단절로 인한 데이터베이스 비축(Database Hoarding)과 관련된 문제, 공유 데이터(Shared Data)의 일관성(Consistency) 유지 문제, 그리고 로그(Log) 최적화 문제를 해결하기 위한 모바일 질의 처리 시스템(MQPS : Mobile Query Processing System)을 포함하는 새로운 모바일 클라이언트-서버 시스템을 제안하는데 목적이 있다.

  • Design of braking system is one of the most critical subjects in vehicle stability. In this paper, optimal scheme for brake force proportioning of all-wheel-drive vehicle is proposed to guarantee the vehicle dynamic stability under plausible drive circumstances. A brake force distribution of generic $8{\times}4$ vehicle is calculated according to proposed scheme and braking stability of this vehicle is verified by using a commercial vehicle software, Trucksim.

  • Debris flows are a natural hazard which looks like a combination of flood, land and rock slide. Large rainfall in July 2006 produced several large scale debris flows and many small debris flows that resulted in loss of life and considerable property and highway damage, as was widely reported in the national media. The hazard "debris flow" is still insufficiently researched Furthermore debris flows are very hard to predict. In this paper, a general over view of the debris flow problems along the highway, a generic way for the design and dimensioning of flexible barrier systems will be presented. A brief description of the various unique barrier types will be provided, too. The future for these barrier concepts looks promising because these barriers represent the state of art for such applications and are superior to many other available options.

  • The KNR wayside and onboard subsystem has completed commissioning tests applicable to the Pilot Line section by BOMBARDIER. Andreas Hardt/Assessor and Rod Muttram/VP, Quality & safety approved the Automatic Train Protection(ATP) System. However additional evidences are necessary to come to a Specific Application, which is mandatory to approve the Generic Applications included for commercial running on the overall main line railway with ATP. According to Factory Acceptance Test plan, CBC, CBF, LEU(Line Electronic Unit) made by domestic factory is tested by official recognition test Standards-Setting Agency. It is important to verify quality which form checklist during Factory Acceptance Test. In this paper, review the process, test item, norm and checklist for the CBC, CBF, LEU.

  • Energy conversion systems such as power inverters and converters are basically significant in establishing photovoltaic power systems to enhance power effectiveness. This paper proposes a new converter control method by using the Lyapunov redesign approach. We construct the proposed control mechanism linearly composed of nominal control and auxiliary control laws. The former is generally designed through a well-known power electronic technology and the latter is implemented to compensate real-time control error due to uncertain natures of converter systems in practice. For realizing adaptive control capability in the proposed control mechanism, a control parameter vector is estimated by utilizing a steepest descent based optimization method. We carry out numerical simulation with Matlab(c) software to demonstrate reliability of the proposed converter control system and conduct a comparative study to prove its superiority by comparing with a generic converter control methodology.

  • This paper presents a multi-criteria decision model and Multi-Criteria Generic Algorithm(MCGA) approach to improve backbone topology by leveraging the Virtual Link(VL) system in an hierarchical Link-State(LS) routing domain. Given that the sound backbone topology structure has a great impact on the overall routing performance in an hierarchical LS domain, the importance of this research is evident. The proposed decision model is to find an optimal configuration of VLs that properly meets two-pronged engineering goals in installing and maintaining VLs: i.e., operational costs and network reliability. The experiment results clearly indicates that it is essential to the effective operations of hierarchical LS routing domain to consider not only engineering aspects but also specific benefits from systematical layout of VLs, thereby presenting the validity of the decision model and MCGA.

  • The BOM(Bill Of Material) contains various important information for establishing production scheduling and purchasing process. For effective and efficient constructing of the BOM, some methods, such as, conventional BOM, Modular BOM and Generic BOM are developed. Many companies input the BOM information with manual process. During this process, no one can avoid human errors, that is input error and to omit input necessary Information. We must to remove the possibility of these human errors, and to construct BOM effectively. To do this, we try to take the BOM from CAD data automatically We have developed a supporting system for extracting BOM from AutoCAD files.

  • The creation of a single European rail transport market it is important to increase confidence between the actors on the market and between member states who shall ensure that railway safety is generally maintained and, where reasonably practicable, continuously improved. For this purpose the European railway safety directive introduces a mechanism to adopt a Common Safety Targets (CST) expressed in risk acceptance criteria for individuals and for society. This paper focuses on the apportionment of safety targets for European railway system. We develop a generic approach based on the Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA), to analyse the safety of railway systems for a unified European network and to comply with the CSTs required by the European railway Safety Directive. We suggest to combine the FHA technique with the functional railway architecture to allocate the safety targets to the railway functions.

  • This paper formulates the suboptimal robust Kalman filtering problem into two coupled Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) problems by applying Lyapunov theory to the augmented system which is composed of the state equation in the uncertain linear system and the estimation error dynamics. This formulations not only provide the sufficient conditions for the existence of the desired filter, but also construct the suboptimal robust Kalman filter. The proposed filter can guarantee the optimized upper bound of the estimation error variance for uncertain systems with parametric uncertainties in both the state and measurement matrices. In addition, this paper shows how the problem of finding the minimizing solution subject to Quadratic Matrix Inequality (QMI), which cannot be easily transformed into LMI using the usual Schur complement formula, can be successfully modified into a generic LMI problem.

  • There are many types of BOM, such as EBOM, MBOM, As-Built BOM, As-Designed BOM, Generic BOM, Customized BOM, etc. We should define an adequate BOM to achieve some purposes. In this paper, we proposed BOM structure for EMU Maintenance Information System. First of all, we define Master BOM including all part's information, such as 2D/3D drawings, images, specification, etc. And then we define Object BOM that is functional structure for someone to achieve maintenance works. Object BOM will be applied to configure sales orders, explode aggregate forecasts, and calculate standard cost.
