베어링-지지구조물의 영향에 따른 터빈의 동특성 변화 (A Study on the Dynamic Characteristics of Turbine due to the Stiffness of Bearing-Pedestal)

  • It is impossible to predict accurately the dynamic behavior of turbine-generator system because bearing, and rotor characteristics are nonlinear and different from temperature, load, operation speed and bearing lubricant oil property. Especially, the characteristics of turbine hoods affect much the entire vibration characteristics of turbine. As the dynamic stiffness of turbine hoods are changed, the critical speeds of rotor are shifted. In this paper, the vibration behavior of turbine-generator is analyzed by using component mode synthesis and the critical speeds measured during shut-down are compared with the analytic results. It is confirmed that the 1st natural frequency and the mode shape are well in agreement with actual measured data.

  • About a half of Electric power is generated by nuclear power plants in korea. So, the stable operation of nuclear power plant is very important for suppling the essential national electric power. A S/G(Steam Generator) level control is the most difficult system in PWR(Pressurized Water Reactor) nuclear power plant. Because of the non-linear and the non-nominal response of S/G level control, it Is very difficult to control the level by automatic mode or manual mode. The goal of this study is to establish and verify a advanced control algorithm by analyzing, modelling, stability calculation, controller parameter calculation, simulation for S/G level control system.

  • This paper describes the testing facility to demonstrate the performance of the distribution class circuit breakers and switchgears and the testing methods. The field-test evaluation system consists of two parts. One is the distribution system for simulation of the condition on interruption mode of switches which are installed in the system and tested by the AFG(Artificial Fault Generator) and the thunderbolt generator just like in the real field. The other is a laboratory for confirmation or the important characteristics regarding to the insulation, gas, environment durability of equipment. For the fatal failure mode, a FMEA(Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) technique which is a kind of a structural analysis to consider a counter-plan was emploved.

  • Distributed Generation (DG) is predicted to play a important role in electric power system in the near future. insertion of DG system into existing distribution network has great impact on real-time system operation and planning. It is widely accepted that micro turbine generation (MTG) systems are currently attracting lot of attention to meet customers need in the distributed power generation market. In order to investigate the performance of MT generation systems, their efficient modeling is required. This paper presents the modeling and simulation of a MT generation system suitable for isolated operation. The system comprises of a Permanent magnet synchronous generator driven by a MT. A brief description of the overall system is given, and mathematical models for the MT and permanent magnet synchronous generator are presented. Also, the use of power electronics in conditioning the power output of the generating system is demonstrated. Simulation studies with MATLAB/Simulink have been carried out in islanding operation mode of a DG system.

  • This paper presents the sensorless and MPPT control algorithm for a 100kW tidal energy system. The proposed algoritm is estimated the rotor position and generator speed using adaptive sliding mode observer. The vector control of generator at the machine side converter and the converter at the grid side are controlled to obtain maximum torque and to regulate unity power factor respectively. Psim simulation is used for validity of proposed control algorism.

  • 본 연구는 발전기와 충전기를 통합하여 필요에 따라서 용접기 또는 발전기로 사용할 수 있는 시스템에 관한 것이다. 구체적으로는, 발전기를 제어하는 제어장치와 다기능 용접기를 사용할 수 있도록 하는 선택 스위치로 구성된 하이브리드 용접기로써 그 기능은 발전기 전원을 충전지에 충전이 완료되면, 발전기는 자동 정지하도록 구성하는 부분과 Co2 MMA TIG MIG MAG 용접기를 모제와 용제에 따라서 공급하는 가스를 제어하도록 제안하였다. 이는 한 번에 한 가지 또는 두 가지 정도만을 선택하는 기존 용접기의 성능과 편리성을 개선하기 위해 전압, 고주파, 모터 그리고 가스 밸브를 제어하는 시스템을 구현하였다.

증기발생기 전열관 감육부의 강도 및 손상평가 (Failure Assessment and Strength of Steam Generator Tubes with Wall Thinning)

  • Steam generator tubes are degraded from wear, stress corrosion cracking, rupture and fatigue and so on. Therefore, the failure assessment of steam generator tube is very important for the integrity of energy plants. In the steam generator tubes, sometimes, the local wall thinning may result from severe degradations such as erosion-corrosion damage and wear due to vibration. In this paper, the elasto-plastic analysis was performed by FE code ANSYS on steam generator tubes with wall thinning. Also, the four-point bending tests were performed on the wall thinned specimens, and then it was compared with the analysis results. We evaluated the failure mode, fracture strength and fracture behavior from the experiment and FE analysis. Also, it was possible to predict the crack initiation point by estimating true fracture ductility under multi-axial stress conditions at the center of the thinned area from FE analysis.

신형경수로1400 증기발생기 전열관의 유체유발진동 해석 (Analysis of Fluid-Induced Vibration in the APR1400 Steam Generator Tube)

  • Flow-Induced Vibration of steam generator tubes may result in fretting wear damage at the tube-to-support locations. KSNP(Korean Standard Nuclear Power plant) steam generators experienced fretting wear in the upper part of U-bend above the central cavity region of steam generators. This region has conditions susceptible to the flow-induced vibration, such as high flow velocity, high void fraction, and longer unsupported span. To improve its performance, APR1400 steam generator is designed with additional supports in this region to reduce unsupported span and to reduce peak velocity in the central cavity region. In this paper, we examined its performance improvement using ATHOS code. The thermal-hydraulic condition in the region of secondary side of APR1400 steam generator is obtained using the ATHOS3 code. The effective mass for modal analysis is calculated using the void fraction, enthalpy, and operating pressure information from ATHOS3 code result. With the effective mass distribution along the tube, natural frequency and mode shape is obtained using ANSYS code. Finally, stability ratios and real mean squared displacements for selected tubes of the APR1400 steam generator are computed. From these results, the current design of the APR1400 steam generator are examined.

IC 보호회로를 갖는 저면적 Dual mode DC-DC Buck Converter (Low-area Dual mode DC-DC Buck Converter with IC Protection Circuit)

  • 본 논문에서는 DT-CMOS(Dynamic Threshold voltage Complementary MOSFET) 스위칭 소자를 사용한 DC-DC Buck 컨버터를 제안하였다. 높은 효율을 얻기 위하여 PWM 제어방식을 사용하였으며, 낮은 온 저항을 갖는 DT-CMOS 스위치 소자를 설계하여 도통 손실을 감소시켰다. 제안한 Buck 컨버터는 밴드갭 기준 전압 회로, 삼각파 발생기, 오차 증폭기, 비교기, 보상 회로, PWM 제어 블록으로 구성되어 있다. 삼각파 발생기는 전원전압(3.3V)부터 접지까지 출력 진폭의 범위를 갖는 1.2MHz의 주파수를 생성하며, 비교기는 2단 증폭기로 설계되었다. 그리고 오차 증폭기는 70dB의 이득과 $64^{\circ}$의 위상여유를 갖도록 설계하였다. 또한 제안한 Buck 컨버터는 current-mode PWM 제어회로와 낮은 온 저항을 갖는 스위치를 사용하여 100mA의 출력 전류에서 최대 95%의 효율을 구현하였으며, 1mA 이하의 대기모드에도 높은 효율을 구현하기 위하여 LDO 레귤레이터를 설계하였으며, 또한 2개의 IC 보호 회로를 내장하여 신뢰성을 확보하였다.

선박 운전 환경에 따른 하이브리드 전기추진선박의 운전모드별 출력 특성에 관한 연구 (A study on characteristics of each operation mode for hybrid electric propulsion ship by operation circumstances)

  • 전 세계적으로 온실가스 및 대기 오염물질 배출 저감을 위한 환경 규제가 강화되고 있고, 그에 따라 여러 가지 대책들이 마련되고 있다. 또한 환경오염 최소화와 더불어 효과적이고 합리적인 에너지 절감 방법에 대한 필요성이 점차 커지고 있는 실정이다. 선박 분야의 경우에는 친환경 선박 개발이 활발히 연구되고 있으며 배기가스 배출저감, 대체 연료 개발, 새로운 추진 방식의 선박 등이 이러한 연구 범주에 속한다. 본 논문에서는 하이브리드 전기추진선박에 대한 기본 개념을 제시하고, 선박 운전환경 분석에 따른 하이브리드 전기추진선박의 전력공급 시스템 배터리 단독 운전, 발전기 단독 운전 및 전 출력 운전 모드로 구성하고 각 운전 모드별 속도, 전류, 전압 및 출력 특성을 분석하였다.
