인버어터 여자에 의한 유도발전기의 연구 (A Study on the Inverter-Excited Induction Generator)

  • An inverter-excited induction generator is discussed in this paper. A brief review of the capacitor-excited induction generator is given and the steady state characteristics of the induction generator excited by an inverter are evaluated. It is shown that the output voltage of the system can be controlled by adjusting the slip, for given operating conditions. The introduction of feedback control makes it possible to control the output voltage stably over the wide range of speed and load. Experimental results are given. The output of the induction generator is then converted into a CVCF(Constant Voltage-Constant Frequency) power source using a PWM inverter with simple control circuit.

  • To obtain high power, diesel engines continuously increase combustion pressure and mean effective pressure each cylinder, and the excitation sources and noisy sources are increased, too. Moreover, to reduce the costs, shipyards make hull structures weaker than before. As above reasons, it is more difficult to control the vibration phenomenon nowadays. In this study, it was investigated why diesel generator sets reached the vibration allowable limits during the FAT and heavy vibration phenomenon of diesel generator sets using ODS test during onboard tests. Also, it is found out the stiffness of deck and common bed using the test result of their structural impedance. To find out the vibratory characteristics of diesel generator sets, model tests were carried out. From the sensitivity analysis after above tests, it was selected points to be reinforced and studied troubleshooting to solve heavy vibration phenomenon of diesel generator sets.

  • In the study, it is considered sporty car as 1400cc entry cars using sound generator. These cars are required special sound quality, also sporty sound quality. The operational principle of this sound generator system is that on the operation of the engine intake valves caused pulsating is to shake the membrane of the sound generator on the inside of the driver front dash panel through the intake manifold, which will deliver the required sound quality and tone. For the component constructed sound generator, main design parameters are selected and optimized using the daguchi's method. The results are as follows; The C2 sound level must be minimized and C4 level must be maximized. And also overall level keeps linear characteristics.

자동차 냉각수 폐열회수 열전발전 시스템의 성능에 관한 연구 (An Experimental Study on Thermoelectric Generator Performance for Waste Coolant Recovery Systems in Vehicles)

  • This study indicated the possibility of energy regeneration from waste coolant heat, by using thermoelectric generation integrated with heat pipe. The internal combustion engine rejects more than 60% wasteful energy to the atmosphere by heat. The thermoelectric generator has recently been studied, to convert the energy from engine waste heat into electricity. For coolant waste heat recovery, a thermoelectric generator was investigated, to find out the possibility of vehicular application. Performance characteristics were conducted with various test conditions of coolant temperature, coolant mass flow rate, air temperature, and air velocity, with the thermoelectric generator installed either horizontally or vertically. Experimental results show that the electric power and conversion efficiency increases according to the temperature difference between the hot and cold side of the thermoelectric generator, and the coolant flow rate of the hot side heat exchanger. Performance improvement can be expected by optimizing the heat pipe design.

  • This paper presents a novel design technique and characteristic analysis of Magnet for dual air-gap axial-flux type permanent-magnet synchronous generator. The process of magnet design is applied to the motor design and steady state analysis considering output voltage waveforms and magnetic flux waveforms. Design and construction of an axial-flux permanent-magnet generator with power output at 60 [Hz], 300[r/min] is introduced. Finite-element (FE) method is applied to analyze magnet shape characteristics. The results of FE analysis show generator is feasible for use with dual air-gap axial-flux permanent- magnet synchronous generator.

  • The dynamic behavior of power systems is affected by the interactions between linear and nonlinear components. To analyze those complicated power systems, the linear approaches have been widely used so far. Especially, a synchronous generator has been designed by using linear models and traditional techniques. However, due to its wide operating range, complex dynamics, transient performances, and its nonlinearities, it cannot be accurately modeled as linear methods based on small-signal analysis. This paper describes an application of the Takaki-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy method to model the synchronous generator in a single-machine infinite bus (SMIB) system. The T-S fuzzy model can provide a highly nonlinear functional relation with a comparatively small number of fuzzy rules. The simulation results show that the proposed T-S fuzzy modeling captures all dynamic characteristics for the synchronous generator, which are exactly same as those by the conventional modeling method.

  • The structural vibration of a diesel generator set was investigated through analyses and tests. FE modeling and normal mode analysis were performed and compared with measured results for both structure components and generator set assembly. The results of component analyses were fairly well coincident with measured results but those of assembled generator set showed more or less discrepancies. Discussions were given about the uncertainties for vibration characteristics of component structures and assembled running structures especially concerning their nonlinearities and damping effects. Detailed excitation analysis fellowed by forced response analysis was done from the engine and pressure data to compare with the actual measured vibration. As results the vibration prediction for frame structures of reciprocating internal combustion engine was confirmed reliable to some extent.

  • A Shipboard power system consists of three or four diesel generator sets connected to a grid. In case of dual fuel diesel generator sets employed LNG ship as a prime mover, large amounts of electricity are required for electric propulsion, auxiliary machinery and accommodation facilities. The electrical connection between generators through a network, torsional vibration can lead power swings. In this paper, the influence on the network by the torsional vibration of diesel generator sets in grid operation were studied. The torsional vibration characteristics were investigated and analyzed through theoretical analysis and the vibration measurement and the results were presented.

한국어 자동 발음열 생성을 위한 예외발음사전 구축 (Building an Exceptional Pronunciation Dictionary For Korean Automatic Pronunciation Generator)

  • This paper presents a method of building an exceptional pronunciation dictionary for Korean automatic pronunciation generator. An automatic pronunciation generator is an essential element of speech recognition system and a TTS (Text-To-Speech) system. It is composed of a part of regular rules and an exceptional pronunciation dictionary. The exceptional pronunciation dictionary is created by extracting the words which have exceptional pronunciations from text corpus based on the characteristics of the words of exceptional pronunciation through phonological research and text analysis. Thus, the method contributes to improve performance of Korean automatic pronunciation generator as well as the performance of speech recognition system and TTS system.

  • Leaking water coolant into stator electrical insulation is a growing concern for the aging water-cooled generator since leaks in the generator water-cooled stator winding can affect machine availability and insulation life. But a domestic techniques of such field are insufficient and depend wholly on GE or TOSHIBA technique. Therefore this paper introduces measuring principle and developed measuring system, which has been used to detecting wet absorption. We accomplished the experiment with a stator promotion of virtue which is used in actual power plant. Also, Experimental method of generator stator winding, which is investigated into wet absorption test.
