취업 포트폴리오 제작을 위한 생성형 AI 활용 연구 (A Study on the Utilization of Generative AI for Employment Portfolio Creation)

  • This study explores how generative AI technology can be utilized to create more efficient and effective employment portfolios in the rapidly changing job market and recruitment landscape. To achieve this, the study first conducted an in-depth analysis of recent employment trends and recruitment patterns, categorizing various generative AI tools based on their application in areas such as resume writing, portfolio design, and video production. Particularly, this research includes a case study of a career planning course in a university setting, where generative AI was applied, to empirically evaluate its potential for educational use. Through this case study, the research thoroughly examines how generative AI can contribute to efficient job preparation and skill enhancement for job seekers. The findings suggest that generative AI plays a critical role in providing personalized information, generating creative ideas, and enhancing both the visual and functional quality of employment portfolios, ultimately contributing to increased competitiveness in the job market. The study also emphasizes the need for further research on the expanding scope and effectiveness of generative AI as the technology continues to evolve.

Towards Resource-Generative Skyscrapers

  • Rapid urbanization, resource depletion, and limited land are further increasing the need for skyscrapers in city centers; therefore, it is imperative to enhance tall building performance efficiency and energy-generative capability. Potential performance improvements can be explored using parametric multi-objective optimization, aided by evaluation tools, such as computational fluid dynamics and energy analysis software, to visualize and explore skyscrapers' multi-resource, multi-system generative potential. An optimization-centered, software-based design platform can potentially enable the simultaneous exploration of multiple strategies for the decreased consumption and large-scale production of multiple resources. Resource Generative Skyscrapers (RGS) are proposed as a possible solution to further explore and optimize the generative potentials of skyscrapers. RGS can be optimized with waste-energy-harvesting capabilities by capitalizing on passive features of integrated renewable systems. This paper describes various resource-generation technologies suitable for a synergetic integration within the RGS typology, and the software tools that can facilitate exploration of their optimal use.

This capability, which allows autonomous creativity even with design keywords, is anticipated to play a significant role in the domain of visual communication design. This article delves into the tools of generative AI applicable to visual design and the methodology for design creation using these tools. Furthermore, it discusses how designers can interact visually with AI technology in the era of generative AI.

  • This paper is aimed at the development of a theoretical framework that addresses practical applications of generative design system that have been observed in architectural practice. Existing theoretical frameworks are not aimed at addressing this specific use of parametric tools but do provide a set of key themes. Based on these themes a generative design system is presented here as a means for tackling architectural design development tasks. This is then used in order to examine a case study; the generative design system tasks involved in the design development and documentation of the Olympic Stadium in Germany. The findings from this examination are used to discuss proposals and implications for a practical framework for generative design in architecture.

Innovations such as GPT-4, DALL-E 2, and Mid-journey Stable Diffusion possess the capacity to dramatically transform the methods by which advertisers reach and engage with customers. The potential applications of these advanced tools herald a new age for the marketing and advertising sectors, offering unprecedented opportunities for growth and optimization. Nevertheless, the rapid adoption of generative AI within these industries presents a unique set of challenges, particularly for organizations that lack the necessary technological infrastructure and human capital to effectively leverage these innovations. As a result, a competitive crisis may emerge, exacerbating existing disparities between well-equipped enterprises and their less technologically adept counterparts. In this article, we undertake a comprehensive exploration of the implications of generative AI for the future of marketing, examining both its potential benefits and drawbacks. We consider the possible impact of these developments on the advertising and marketing industries at large, as well as the ways in which professionals operating within these fields may need to adapt to remain competitive in an increasingly AI-driven landscape. By providing a holistic overview of the challenges and opportunities associated with generative AI, this study aims to elucidate the complex dynamics at play in the ongoing evolution of the marketing and advertising sectors.

  • Generative AI has arrived and it's here. Education, research, industry, and labor are all on edge about the changes it will bring. It is noteworthy that while there is a wide range of optimistic and pessimistic predictions about the impact of generative AI, there is more concern than hope when it comes to education. This paper focuses on the lack of discussion on the impact of AI in higher education. First, we reviewed the process of the emergence of generative AI and introduced how the impact of AI is being understood from various perspectives. Second, we classified work areas based on expertise and efficiency and analyzed the impact of AI on work in each area. Finally, the study found that the educational perception of generative AI and the way it is perceived for engineering education purposes can be very different. It also argued that there is a lack of active discussion and debate on areas that need to be specifically discussed around generative AI. This has led to a phenomenon known as professors' delayed indifference. We emphasized that it is time for a serious and realistic discussion on the connection and integration of AI and education.

Analysis of AI Content Detector Tools

  • With the rapid development of AI technology, ChatGPT and other AI content creation tools are becoming common, and users are becoming curious and adopting them. These tools, unlike search engines, generate results based on user prompts, which puts them at risk of inaccuracy or plagiarism. This allows unethical users to create inappropriate content and poses greater educational and corporate data security concerns. AI content detection is needed and AI-generated text needs to be identified to address misinformation and trust issues. Along with the positive use of AI tools, monitoring and regulation of their ethical use is essential. When detecting content created by AI with an AI content detection tool, it can be used efficiently by using the appropriate tool depending on the usage environment and purpose. In this paper, we collect data on AI content detection tools and compare and analyze the functions and characteristics of AI content detection tools to help meet these needs.

CNC 원통연삭기 이송오차의 발생요인에 관한 실험적 연구 (An experimental study on the generative elements of feed errors in CNC cylindrical grinding machine)

  • The accuracy of machine tools is the major factor concerned with the acuracy of the processed work. The feed errors of feed system in machine tool, therfore, make the machining errors of work directly on processing. In this point, this study focused on the generative elements of feed errors in CNC cylindrical grinding machine, such as supporting method of ball screw, the effect of pitch and yaw error and the position detecting method in servo system when operating its shaft of grinding wheel head. Furthermore, in order to improve the driving accuracy of this machine tool, feed errors are measured by a laser interferometer. Results obtained in this study provide some useful informations to attain high accuracy of CNC machine tool.

University Faculty's Perspectives on Implementing ChatGPT in their Teaching

  • The present study explored a comprehensive investigation of university professors' perspectives on the implementation of ChatGPT - an artificial intelligence-powered language model - in their teaching practices. A diverse group of 30 university professors responded to a questionnaire about the level of their interest in implementing the tool, willingness to apply it, and concerns they have regarding the intervention of ChatGPT in higher education setting. The results showed that the participants are highly interested in employing the tool into their teaching practice, and find that the students are likely to benefit from using ChatGPT in classroom settings. On the other hand, they displayed concerns regarding high depandency on data, privacy-related issues, lack of supports required, and technical contraints. In today's fast-paced society, educators are urged to mindfully apply this inevitable generative AI means with thoughtfulness and ethical considerations to and for their learners. Relevant topics are discussed to successfully intervene AI tools in teaching practices in higher education.
