In this study, we examined whether the systematic literature review method used in the field of evidence-based medicine could be used for post-market clinical evaluation of medical devices by modifying them to fit the regulatory perspective of medical devices in Korea. For this purpose, systematic literature review was modified and applied to conduct a clinical literature survey on the ophthalmic electrosurgical system(Trabectome^®, NeoMediX Corp) used for the treatment of glaucoma. A total of six documents were finally selected, and clinical safety and efficacy information on the indications of the ophthalmic electrosurgical system were effectively presented. In addition, general safety information and unexpected safety information could be distinguished through comparison with medical device adverse event reporting cases. The method used in this study is expected to be used in various ways throughout post-market medical device safety management system and for the purpose of regulation improvement, especially in the field of ophthalmic electrosurgical system.

This study traces the possibility of political change in the Malaysian electoral history, especially by focusing on the 13th general election held in May 2013. The results of the 13th general election was another turning point in the history of Malaysia's electoral politics. Following after the 12th general election held in 2008, opposition coalition(PR) achieves a remarkable electoral result by obtaining over 50% of the total votes. Opposition parties also successfully collapsed the ruling coalition(BN)'s two-third majority in parliamentary. It was de-facto defeat of the ruling coalition and victory of the opposition coalition. More precisely, the 2013 election results show that the reformasi movement, which was active in 1998-99 period, are still alive and its impact on Malaysian electoral politics get stronger. Malaysia has long been considered as a typical electoral authoritarian regime since its independence in 1957. It is because that there has been negative relations between electoral politics and political change through out its electoral history. As shown in the most recent two general elections held in 2008 and 2013, however, Malaysia's hegemonic political system can be possibly changed through electoral politics. This article examines the detailed results of the series of post-reformarsi general elections(1999, 2004, 2008, 2013) and its political implications towards the nexus of electoral politics and political change under the electoral authoritarian regime in Malaysia.

There have been continued effects to develop various types of chemical sensors according to the demands in many application fields such as safety, pollution, environment, medical engineering and food industries etc. In this review, the author intended to cover the general aspects of chemical sensors, including the history of the development, the classification, the sensing properties, and the types and application examples. And the future outlook of the chemical sensor technology, focusing on the advanced materials, high technology fusion, miniaturized intelligent system and ubiquitous sensor networks etc., has been described.

This paper deals with the case study of the establishment of decision supporting system in shipbuilding industory. Facts or information of shipbuilding, sales, finance, production strategic planning in shipbuilding industry are considered. General transportation model for shipyard production schedule is formulated, and shipbuilding demand forecasting scheme is also introduced. This paper shows the several methods of DSS in shipbuilding industry. But production schedule strategic planning system by OR technique is emphasized. For the realization of DSS in shipbuilding industry, another efforts (data gathering and programming etc.) should be given on the basis of these methods.

This paper presents a Rotem's methodology for the establishment of train operation plan in Railway system. Train operation plan is the key prior plan to proceed the design of the civil and E&M relevant subsystem. But, due to the limitation of the environmental and project condition, common consensus to the key factors which make up the operation plan have not been accomplished. So, as a result of this comparative review for the general approaching method of train operation plan and application status of the major key factors being performed by Rotem, we will get the opportunities to improve the accuracy of the train operation plan.

At present, most of the widely used system codes for nuclear safety analysis are one-dimensional, which cannot effectively simulate the flow field of the reactor core or other structures. This is true even for the system codes containing three-dimensional modules with limited three-dimensional simulation function such as RELAP-3D. In contrast, the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) codes excel at providing a detailed three-dimensional flow field of the reactor core or other components; however, the computational domain is relatively small and results in the very high computing resource consuming. Therefore, the development of coupling codes, which can make comprehensive use of the advantages of system and CFD codes, has become a research focus. In this paper, a review focus on the researches of coupled CFD and thermal-hydraulic system codes was carried out, which summarized the method of coupling, the data transfer processing between CFD and system codes, and the verification and validation (V&V) of coupled codes. Furthermore, a series of problems associated with the coupling procedure have been identified, which provide the general direction for the development and V&V efforts of coupled codes.

A design system was developed for the doubler plate of a ship structure simultaneously subjected to in-plane loads and lateral pressure based on general dimensions and those of a representative ship structure. An equivalent design equation that considers various structural design parameters was derived by introducing the equivalent plate thickness theory, and the design of the doubler plate reinforcement of the ship structure was developed. A hybrid structural design system was established for a doubler plate simultaneously subjected to in-plane loads and lateral pressure consisting of two modules: an optimized design module and a double plate strength & design review module. The practical application of this design system was illustrated to show its usability. It was found that the design safety of the doubler plate was ensured, and this system could be used as an initial design guide to review the double plate reinforcement for a dent or corrosion of the ship plate members. Using the developed design system would make it possible to obtain a more reasonable doubler plate structure that considers the rational reinforcement of plate members of ship structures. In addition, a more reliable structural analysis using a strength evaluation process can be performed to verify the efficiency of the optimum structural design for the doubler plate structure.

Objective : We performed a literature review for developing the clinical phenotype evaluation system of atopic dermatitis.Methods : We searched the papers that describe symptoms for atopic dermatitis through Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System(OASIS) and Korean Studies Incategoryation Service System(KISS). We looked through all the papers and finally chose 47 papers that are suitable for inclusion. Then, we extracted symptoms from these papers and arranged them in order of frequency and validity through experts' conference.Results : We found 360 papers and chose 47 papers. We decided to include general information of patients, systemic and dermatologic symptoms in evaluation category of atopic dermatitis. Through experts' conference, it was decided that general information has age, sex and body type; Systemic symptoms have 9 items; Dermatologic symptoms have 15 items.Conclusion : To evaluate atopic dermatitis objectively, the standardization of diagnostic tool is needed. Therefore we developed a clinical phenotype evaluation system of atopic dermatitis.

The importance of online reviews is prevalent as more people access goods or places online and make decisions to visit or purchase. However, such reviews are generally provided by short sentences or mere star ratings; failing to provide a general overview of customer preferences and decision factors. This study explored and broke down restaurant reviews found on Google Maps. After collecting and analyzing 5,427 reviews, we vectorized the importance of words using the TF-IDF. We used a random forest machine learning algorithm to calculate the coefficient of positivity and negativity of words used in reviews. As the result, we were able to build a dictionary of words for positive and negative sentiment using each word's coefficient. We classified words into four major evaluation categories and derived insights into sentiment in each criterion. We believe the dictionary of review words and analyzing the major evaluation categories can help prospective restaurant visitors to read between the lines on restaurant reviews found on the Web.

This study closely examines quality management's realities which manufacturing firms have and effective result controls access formula by comparison and analysis on the product of introduction quality control realities and quality management of manufacturing firms in Chollabukdo. In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, this research was progressed as order of literature review and survey. After literature review this study drew up questionnaire on the basis of foregoing literature and executed survey on manufacturing business taking TQM(Total Quality Management) in Chollado's area. The result of analysis are as follows. First, according to the analysis manufacturing of industry's realities, investment in TQM techniques seems to contribute to the performance of manufacturing firms, but most of manufacturing firms quality control do not have strategic orientations. Conseqently, general and strategic quality management system suitable for the realities of manufacturing industry are required. Second, It seems that manufacturing industry didn't recognize strategic importance for competitive advantage. Namely, It was found that firms with less TQM executed non-strategic quality management, compared with firms more TQM.
