아세트아미노펜 액상좌제의 제초 및 생물학적 동등성 평가 (Preparation and Bioequivalence Test of Acetaminophen Liquid Suppository)

  • A novel in situ-gelling and mucoadhesive acetaminophen liquid suppository was developed to improve the patient compliance of conventional solid suppository. In this study, acetaminophen liquid suppository, Likipe $n_{R}$, [aminophen/Poloxamer 407/Poloxamer 188/so4ium alginate (5/15/19/0.6%)] with relation temperature at 30-36 "C and suitable gel strength and bioadhesive force, dissolution pattern similar to conventional solid type suppository, Suspe $n_{R}$, was developed. Furthermore, the bioequivalence of two acetaminophen products was evaluated in 16 normal male volunteers (age 22-27 yr, body weight 56-72 kg) following sidle rectal administration. Test product was Likipe $n_{R}$ suppository (Dong-Wha Pharm. Corp., Korea)and reference product was Suspe $n_{R}$204-212 suppository (Hanmi Pharm. Corp., Korea). Both products contain 125 mg of acetaminophen. Four Suppositories of the test and the reference product were administered to the volunteers, respectively, by randomized two period cross-over study (2$\times$2 Latin square method). The determination of acetaminophen was accomplished using HPLC. Average drug concentrations at each sampling time and pharmacokinetic parameters calculated were not significantly different between two products (p>0.05); the area under the curve to last sampling time (24 hr) (AU $Co_{-2}$4h/) (30.14$\pm$8.64 vs 27.98$\pm$ 6.53 $\mu$g .h/ml), maximum plasma concentration ( $C_{max}$) (3.29$\pm$0.87 vs 3.60$\pm$0.66 $\mu$g/ml) and time to maximum plasma concentration ( $T_{max}$) (2.91 $\pm$0.55 vs 2.69$\pm$0.60 h). The differences of mean AUCo $_{24h}$, C-a. and T-between the two products (7.18%, 9.58% and 7.53%, respectively) were less than 20%. The power (1-7) and treatment difference ($\Delta$) for AU $Co_{24h}$, $C_{max}$ and $T_{max}$ were more than 0.8 and less than 0.2, respectively at $\alpha$=0.1. The confidence limits for AU $Co_{24h}$, $C_{max}$ and $T_{max}$ (-0.81 ~13.55%, -1.56~ 17.60 and -3.81 ~18.87%, respectively) were less than $\pm$ 20% at $\alpha$=0.1. These results suggest that the bioavailability of Likipe $n_{R}$ suppository is not significantly different from that of Suspe $n_{R}$ suppsitory. 찹쌀 전분의 페이스팅/페이스트 특성 및 냉해동 안정성에 대한 잔탄검-로커스트콩검 혼합물의 영향 (Impact of Xanthan-locust Bean Gum Mixtures on Pasting/Paste Characteristics and Freeze-thaw Stabilities of Waxy Rice Starch)

  • 찹쌀 전분과 검(XAT, LBG, 및 XAT:LBG) 혼합물의 페이스팅 특성과 이들 페이스트의 점탄특성 및 냉해동 안정성을 조사하여 일반 쌀 전분(20% 수준의 아밀로오스 함유)의 물성을 대체할 수 있으며 낮은 냉해동 안정성을 개선할 수 있는 찹쌀 전분-검 혼합물의 조성을 제시하고자 하였다. 찹쌀 전분은 검(XAT 및 LBG) 및 검 혼합물(XAT:LBG)에 의해 건조중량 대비 19:1의 비율로 대체하여(총 고형분 함량 5%, w/w) 페이스팅 점도 특성을 조사하였을 때 찹쌀 전분-검 혼합물 내의 XAT 농도가 낮아질수록 찹쌀 전분의 페이스팅 온도에 근접하였다. 최고점도는 찹쌀 전분-XAT 혼합물에서 가장 낮았으며 XAT와 LBG를 75:25의 비율의 검 혼합물로 찹쌀 전분을 대체하였을 때(X075L025)가 가장 높았다. 또한 찹쌀 전분-XAT:LBG의 최고점도에서 최종점도 사이의 온도 프로파일 범위에서 찹쌀 전분만을 이용하였을 때보다 높은 수준의 페이스팅 점도를 나타내었다. 찹쌀 전분-검 혼합물 페이스트의 점탄특성은 찹쌀 전분-XAT:LBG (X050L050 및 X025L050) 페이스트들에 한해 5 rad/s의 높은 진동수에서 일반 쌀 전분 페이스트의 저장탄성률과 유사해졌다. 손실탄성률은 모든 찹쌀 전분-검 혼합물 페이스틀이 찹쌀 전분과 일반 쌀 전분들 보다 높은 수준을 나타내었다. 냉해동 안정성과 관련하여 일반 쌀 전분 페이스트에 비해 찹쌀 전분 및 찹쌀 전분-검 혼합물들이 높은 냉해동 안정성을 나타내었다. 이 중 찹쌀 전분-XAT와 찹쌀 전분-XAT:LBG (X075L025)가 7회의 냉해동 순환처리에도 syneresis 현상이 관찰되지 않았다. 모든 결과들을 고려할 때 일반 쌀 전분을 대체할 수 있는 찹쌀 전분-검 혼합물은 XAT와 LBG를 건조중량 비율로 50:50으로 혼합한 검 혼합물을 찹쌀 전분의 건조중량의 5% 수준으로 대체하는 것으로 판단되었다.

졸-겔법에 의한 ITiO(Indium Titanium Oxide) 입자의 합성과 ITiO 박막의 광투과도 조사 (Synthesis of ITiO(Indium Titanium Oxide) particle by sol-gel and investigation on light transmittance of deposited ITiO thin film)

  • 본 연구에서는 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 wt%의 $TiO_2$를 함유하는 인듐-티타늄 수산화물을 졸 및 염기 첨가에 의해 얻었고, $200^{\circ}C$$500^{\circ}C$에서 겔화 과정을 통해 ITiO(Indium Titanate Oxide)를 얻었다. $200^{\circ}C$에서 겔화 과정 후 얻어지는 ITiO 입자가 작아서 조밀성이 있는 ITiO 타겟을 제조하였다. 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 wt%의 $TiO_2$를 함유하는 ITiO 타겟을 스퍼터링하여 ITiO 박막을 유리판위에 제작하여 비저항, 전하 이동도, 캐리어 농도를 조사하였다. 이들 박막 중에서 산소 조성이 0.4 %인 조건에서 0.5 wt% 중량% $TiO_2$를 함유하는 ITiO 타겟으로부터 제작된 ITiO 박막이 가장 낮은 비저항, 가장 큰 전하이동도 및 가장 낮은 캐리어 농도를 보임을 알 수 있었고, 얻어진 ITiO 박막의 광투과율을 측정하여 적외선 영역에서 광투과율이 ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) 박막에 비해 현저히 증가함을 발견하였다.

초음파에 의한 carrageenan 저분자화의 최적 조건 (Optimal Processing Parameters of Low Molecular Weight Carrageenan by Ultrasound)

  • [ $\lambda$ ]-carrageenan 고유의 특성을 유지하면서 용해성을 높인 저분자 $\lambda$-carrageenan을 제조하여 보다 효율적으로 식품산업에 이용하기 위하여 초음파를 이용하여 $\lambda$-carrageenan을 저분자화하는 최적조건을 조사한 결과 $\lambda$-carrageenan의 초음파 처리시 각 처리조건들과 저분자화 효과와의 상관관계를 나타내는 반응표면식을 구한 결과, carrageenan 농도와 초음파 강도가 저분자화에 미치는 주 영향인자인 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 저분자화를 위한 초음파 처리의 최적 조건은 초음파 처리온도 $10^{\circ}C$, 초음파 강도 121.64 $W/cm^2$, 시료 carrageenan 농도 $2\%$, 초음파 처리시간 40분이었다. $\lambda$-carrageenan 및 저분자화된 $\lambda$-carrageenan의 분자량을 조사한 결과 대조구 $\lambda$-carrageenan의 분자량은 약 250,000이었으며 초음파처리에 따른 저분자화 된 $\lambda$-carrageenan의 분자량은 각각 p-1의 경우 약 200,000정도였으며, p-2의 경우 약 60,000정도이었다.

Comparative study of thermal gelation properties and molecular forces of actomyosin extracted from normal and pale, soft and exudative-like chicken breast meat

  • Objective: The objectives of this study were to investigate the thermal gelation properties and molecular forces of actomyosin extracted from two classes of chicken breast meat qualities (normal and pale, soft and exudative [PSE]-like) during heating process to further improve the understanding of the variations of functional properties between normal and PSE-like chicken breast meat. Methods: Actomyosin was extracted from normal and PSE-like chicken breast meat and the gel strength, water-holding capacity (WHC), protein loss, particle size and distribution, dynamic rheology and protein thermal stability were determined, then turbidity, active sulfhydryl group contents, hydrophobicity and molecular forces during thermal-induced gelling formation were comparatively studied. Results: Sodium dodecyl sulphate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis showed that protein profiles of actomyosin extracted from normal and PSE-like meat were not significantly different (p>0.05). Compared with normal actomyosin, PSE-like actomyosin had lower gel strength, WHC, particle size, less protein content involved in thermal gelation forming (p<0.05), and reduced onset temperature ($T_o$), thermal transition temperature ($T_d$), storage modulus (G') and loss modulus (G"). The turbidity, reactive sulfhydryl group of PSE-like actomyosin were higher when heated from $40^{\circ}C$ to $60^{\circ}C$. Further heating to $80^{\circ}C$ had lower transition from reactive sulfhydryl group into a disulfide bond and surface hydrophobicity. Molecular forces showed that hydrophobic interaction was the main force for heat-induced gel formation while both ionic and hydrogen bonds were different significantly between normal and PSE-like actomyosin (p<0.05). Conclusion: These changes in chemical groups and inter-molecular bonds affected protein-protein interaction and protein-water interaction and contributed to the inferior thermal gelation properties of PSE-like meat.

프로바이오틱 요구르트의 기준, 규정, 검출에 관한 현황 및 전망: 총설 (Current Status and Prospects for Standards, Regulations, and Detection of Probiotic Yogurt: Review)

  • Yogurt fermentation is known to be beneficial because it provides a low pH and harsh environment for foodborne pathogens and improves organoleptic properties. Additionally, organic acids produced through fermentation have a good effect on the viscosity and gelling properties of yogurt. Several potential health benefits of probiotic and generally recognized as safe strains have been suggested. Yogurt is the preferred vehicle for delivering probiotics to health-conscious consumers. Therefore, manufacturers of probiotic beverages must comply with the relevant regulations. The development of probiotic yogurt begins with the selection of strains with safety and functional properties of probiotics. The selected probiotic strain should be technically suitable for viability and improve organoleptic quality while maintaining the number of bacteria above the standard value during processing and storage conditions. In addition, the efficacy of probiotic strains contained in yogurt should be investigated, confirmed, and approved according to well-designed clinical trials. Although various methods are used to detect probiotic strains, the recently widely used next generation sequencing method can be actively utilized. In the future, more research should be conducted with the latest methods to identify probiotic functions and accurately detect probiotic strains.

간호대학생의 학년별 태도 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Gradual Attitudes Change College of Nursing Students)

  • Introduction : Nursing as a profession is gelling wide acceptance today, especially among independent -minded women with necessary physical, mental and academic qualifications. This is particularly true of "comprehensive nursing", which requires to total dedication on the part if the nurse herself-physical, mental and sociocultural. Such comprehensive approach is like-wise called for in the institutional training of professional nurses. Undergraduate nursing courses nowadays place an increasing emphasis on the microscopic approach of training a nurse as an intelligent and well-balanced human being with an optimum degree of cultural sophistication. Greater attention then ever before is now paid to close observation of the individual traits and aptitude of nursing students, so as to permit full development of individual capabilities, interests and propensities within the concept of "comprehensive human education. " Purpose of study 1. To determine the degree of understanding of the part of nursing students of the various aspects of the subject taught in undergraduate nursing course. 2. To determine the motivation of nursing students in choosing the profession and possible subsequent change or attitude and outlook in the course of under graduated studies, as a means of presenting a new practical approach in nursing training based on the concept of "comprehensive human education. " Problems of study 1. The environments of nursing training will impinge on individual nursing students with different psychological impacts from lower to upper classes of under graduated studies. 2. Educational environments will have varying psychological impacts on students: a. Difference in religious faith among students. b. Difference in campus environments. c. Difference in domestic (family) circumstances. d. Difference in innate capabilities of students, 3. The understanding and attitude of individual nursing students towards the science of nursing will Have a close correlation with their respective motivations in choosing-nursing as a profession, and will also be closely influenced by the peculiarities of the subject taught, tile campus environments, etc, Delimitations of the study 1. Two universities offering 4-year nursing courses were selected. Due to the limited number of potential subjects, the optimum conditions of sample collection could not be fulfilled. 2. Subjects were confined to two classes in each university (sophomores and seniors) but without regard to the ages or scholastic achievements of individual students. 3. The conclusions derived from this study should be limited in application to the subject groups covered by the present study: they should not in any event be extended or applied to other groups. Procedures 1. Subjects: 40 nursing students each from the sophomore and senior classes of the "Y" and "K" universities situated in Seoul, aggregating 160 students altogether. 2. Instruments: Use has been made of questionnaires on (1) family backgrounds and (2) general information concerning. 3. Statistical Method: The findings of the present survey have been subjected to critical analysis as to the means, percentages, Cgi squares (X), standard deviations and the significance of the difference in means. Findings 1. Nursing students have chosen their subject of study with a confident outlook towards their future in society. 2. Horsing students have the necessary abilities to complete the prescribed courses of study. 3. The campus life of nursing students has been judged as very constructive, not with-standing certain in adequacies in the available educational facilities and the shortages of teaching staff. 4. The achievement levels of nursing trainees varied greatly according to their respective educational environments as well as their school years. 5. Clear and definite distinctions were discernible between the two universities as regards certain aspects of this survey, while no signifiant difference was observed in other: a. Sophomores and seniors in both universities gave nearly identical answers to questions concerning (1) motivation in choosing nursing as a profession, and (2) the way of spending leisure hours. b. Both universities revealed similar respective differences between sophomores and seniors as regards the abilities of fulfilling academic requirements ill the basic subjects. c. Educational environments have been found to be somewhat superior in the "Y"university to those of the "K" university, particularly as regard general campus and dormitory conditions. d. The high degree of dissatisfaction with the faculty, found in both universities, was considered to be a consequence of the universal phenomenon of "brain drain" and the relative neglect of the "comprehensive approach"in education.
