Suppose K is a nonempty closed convex nonexpansive retract of a real uniformly convex Banach space E with P as a nonexpansive retraction. Let $T_1,\;T_2\;and\;T_3\;:\;K{\rightarrow}E$ be nonexpansive mappings with nonempty common fixed points set. (i) If the dual $E^*$ of E has the Kadec-Klee property, then weak convergence of a $\{x_n\}$ to some $x^*{\in}F(T_1){\cap}{F}(T_2){\cap}(T_3)$ is proved; (ii) If $T_1,\;T_2\;and\;T_3$ satisfy condition(A'), then strong convergence of $\{x_n\}$ to some $x^*{\in}F(T_1){\cap}{F}(T_2){\cap}(T_3)$ is obtained.

지열수의 부존은 화석열수계(fossil geothermal system)의 분포와 밀접한 연관성을 가지므로, 활발한 화석열수계에 의한 광역적인 열수변질대가 분포하는 경상분지 남부지역을 대상으로 GIS 공간통합기법을 적용한 지열 부존 잠재력을 탐사하였다. 연구방법은 화석열수계의 기원 및 분포와 관련된 지질 열수변질대, 열수형 광상 분포, 선구조 밀도, 항공자력도 등 주제도를 작성하고, 현행 온천 분포와의 상관성을 파악하여, 공간통합을 실시하였다. 그 결과 퍼지 연산자 중에서는 ${\gamma}$ 연산자(${\gamma}=0.1$)가 가장 높은 성공비율을 나타내었으며, 일부 지역에서 새로운 지열수 부존 가능성이 예상된다.

본 논문에서는 신호 구조에 가중치 맵으로써 Laplacian을 이용한 언샤프 마스킹과 평균 밝기에 가중치 맵으로써 영상의 평균 밝기를 이용한 감마 변환 알고리듬을 제안하고자 한다. 패치를 기반으로 한 기존의 가중치 맵은 신호 구조 및 평균 밝기 영역에서 영상 내 밝기 값이 한쪽으로 치우쳐 세부 정보가 손실되는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 패치 단위의 언샤프 마스킹을 이용하여 세부정보를 향상시켰고, 전역적 및 지역적 영상의 평균 밝기 값을 이용하여 감마 변환된 값을 선형 결합한 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리듬은 영상 내 윤곽선과 같은 세부 정보를 보존시키고 빛의 밝기 조절을 통해 주관적 화질을 향상시켰다. 실험 결과를 통해 기존 알고리듬에 비해 제안한 알고리듬이 우수한 성능을 나타내는 것을 확인하였다.

The induction of interleukin-6 (IL-6) using combined proinflammatory agents $(LPS/IFN-{\gamma}\;or\;TNF-{\alpha}/IFN-{\gamma})$ was studied in relation to p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) and $NF-{\kappa}B$ transcriptional factor in primary neonatal cardiomyocytes. When added to cultures of cardiomyocytes, the combined agents $(LPS/IFN-[\gamma}\;or\;TNF-{\alpha}/IFN-{\gamma})$ had stimulatory effect on the production of IL-6 and the elevation was significantly reduced by SB203580, a specific p38 MAPK inhibitor. SB203580 inhibited protein production and gene expression of IL-6 in a concentration-dependent manner. In this study, $IFN-{\gamma}$ enhancement of $TNF-{\alpha}-induced\;NF-{\kappa}B$ binding affinity as well as p38 MAP kinase activation was observed. However, a specific inhibitor of p38 MAPK, SB203580, had no effect on $TNF-{\alpha}/IFN-{\gamma}\;or\;LPS/IFN-{\gamma}-induced\;NF-{\kappa}B$ activation. This study strongly suggests that these pathways about $TNF-{\alpha}/IFN-{\gamma}$ or $LPS/IFN-{\gamma}-activated$ IL-6 release can be primarily dissociated in primary neonatal cardiomyocytes.

15-Deoxy-$\Delta$12, 14-prostaglandin J2 (15-deoxy-PGJ2), a naturally occurring ligand activates the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-$\gamma$(PPAR-$\gamma$). It was known to have promoting ability of nerve growth factor(NGF)-induced neurite extension. However, it is not clear yet as to what signaling pathway is involved in its promoting ability of neurite extension.(omitted)

We construct an operad which is called the mapping class group operad. Its structure map is induced by the attachings of surfaces. The similar operad was constructed by Tillmann in order prove that ${\Gamma}^+_{\infty}$ is an infinite loop space. Our operad is rather simpler and easier to deal with.

We obtain generalized versions of the Fan-Browder fixed point theorem for G-convex spaces. We define the class B of better admissible multimaps on G-convex spaces and show that any closed compact map in b fro ma locally G-convex uniform space into itself has a fixed point.

In this paper, first, we present new fixed point theorems for Mönch type multimaps on abstract convex uniform spaces and, also, a fixed point theorem for Mönch type multimaps in Hausdorff KKM L𝚪-spaces. Second, we show that Mönch type multimaps in the better admissible class defined on an L𝚪-space have fixed point properties whenever their ranges are Klee approximable. Finally, we obtain fixed point theorems on 𝔎ℭ-maps whose ranges are 𝚽-sets.

Let $\gamma$ be a unit speed geodesic in a 2-step nilpotent Lie group H(2, 1) with its Lie algebra n(2, 1) and let its initial velocity ${\gamma}$(0) be given by ${\gamma}(0)=Z_0+X_0{\in}\delta{\oplus}\varsigma=n(2,\;1)$ with its center component $Z_0$ nonzero. Then we showed that $\gamma(0)$ is conjugate to $\gamma(\frac{2n{\pi}}{\theta})$, where n is a nonzero intger and $-{\theta}^2$ is a nonzero eigenvalue of $J^2_{Z_0}$, along $\gamma$ if and only if either $X_0$ is an eigenvector of $J^2_{Z_0}$ or $adX_0:\varsigma{\rightarrow}\delta$ is not surjective.
