Disassembly Process Planning of End-of-Life Car

  • In order to increase competitiveness and to gain economic benefit, companies ask more and more how to recycle their products in an efficient way. So far, to answer this question, companies are not sufficiently supported by suitable methods specially in the area of disassembly process planning. For this reason, we develop in collaboration with an industrial partner a new method for generating an optimal disassembly sequence. In this paper this method will be described in detail by considering the exiting assembly information, disassembly method and disassembly depth. PLM(Profit-Loss Margin) curve that is used to determine disassembly depth consists of profit value, disassembly cost and disassembly effect. Using assessment parameters, generated alternative disassembly sequences are evaluated and an optimal disassembly sequence is proposed. This method is applied to generate the optimal disassembly sequence of Door Trim as an example.

  • The performance degradation of CMOS differential amplifiers due to hot carrier effect has been measured and analyzed. Two-state CMOS amplifiers whose input transistors are PMOSFETs were designed and fabriacted using the ISRC CMOS 1.5.mu.m process. It was observed after the amplifier was hot-carrier stressed that the small-signal voltage gain and the input offset voltage increased and the phase margin decreased. The performance variation results from the increase of the transconductances and gate capacitances of the PMOSFETs used as input transistors in the differential input stage and the output stage and also resulted from the decrease of their output conductances. After long-term stress, the amplifier became unstable. The reason might be that its phase margin was reduced due to hot carrier effect.

  • The enhanced phase angle estimation algorithm is essential to supply the power stably under synchronizing with grid source. In this paper, we are proposed the novel phase angle estimation algorithm and verified the validity of proposed method as simulation with PSIM and experiments. We sort the harmonics element using high-pass filter(HPF) that have the cut-off frequency below basic element and make reverse d-q transformation. So, it can be restored the harmonics element at stationary axis, and we can get the fundamental voltage element of AC grid. Proposed PLL method have a rapid responsibility and a large margin at controller design than conventional method because it have a small phase delay and a sufficient controller gain margin. And, it can reduce the error of voltage rms value and axis transformation according to robust PLL algorithm against the harmonic and phase unbalance.

  • The lighting control power circuits should be designed in stable region according to the environment. A stable circuit is analyzed using ac equivalent circuits. The flyback converter with wide input voltage ranges is suitable for lighting control system. It is designed optimally for stability. The specifications are that the input voltage is 90V-230V, the output power is 12V/2.5A. The stability analysis is established using PSM(Phase Sensitive Multimeter) in experiment. As a result, it is confirmed that the gain margin and the phase margin are in stable area. The validity of the experimental measurement is verified.

  • 본 논문에서는 주파수 응달특성의 해석을 통하여 제어기를 설계하는 방법을 제안하였다. 모델의 오차가 없다는 가정 하에 완벽 제어가 가능한 IMC-PID 구조를 사용 한으로 하나의 변수인 제어 조절 인자만으로 제어기를 설계하였다. 이 변수를 선정하는 방법으로는 위상여유와 이득여유를 고려한 방법을 수학적으로 유도하였다. 이는 설계자가 이미 알고 있는 일반적인 유도 식을 이용함으로 설계를 보다 쉽게 할 수 있다. 이를 통하여 원하는 설계사양을 만족 시키도록 하는 IMC-PID제어기의 설계 변수 값들을 수학적으로 제시하고, 그 유용성을 사례 연구와 분석을 통해 검토하였다.

  • A Study of Improvement in Reactor Thermal Power Measurement Method using Kalman Filter. The objectives of the safety analysis of nuclear power plants are to maintain the surface temperature of fuel and fuel cladding within limit value in case of Loss of Coolant accident (LOCA) so that it ensures the safety and reliability of nuclear power plants. The new technique evaluating the reactor power and improvement of existing plant system increase the safety margin of nuclear power plant operation, and accordingly, economic effect will be anticipated. Hereby, 1 would like to introduce reactor power measurement method using Kalman filter that enables to calculate the reactor power more precisely combining the parameters, for example, turbine output as the 1 st stage pressure of high pressure turbine, and reactor power using energy equilibrium relation. It is expected that the new technique will enhance the accuracy of measurement of reactor power and maintain the reliability of nuclear power operation by increasing operational safety margin, and gain the economic benefit

  • In this paper, we experimentally considered the stability of AT forward MRC with the characteristics of high efficiency and high power density. The converter ratings are input 48V, output 5V/50W, The maximum voltage stress is measured to about 170V of 2 times the input voltage when the input is 58V. The $81.66\%$ of maximum efficiency could be obtained. For the stability of the converter, it is compensated through the error op amp in MC34067. A phase margin and a gain margin for relative stability are measured using HP4194A network analyzer.

상태 및 출력에 시간지연이 존재하는 시스템을 위한 칼만필터의 강인성 분석 (Robustness Properties of Kalman Filters for Systems with Delays in State and Output)

  • This paper presents robustness properties of Kalman filters for linear time-invariant systems with delays in both the state and the output. The circle condition concerning the return difference matrix is derived. From the circle condition, it can be seen that the Kalman filter guarantees such nondivergence margins as (1/2,$\infty$) gain margin and $\pm$60$^{\circ}$phase margin, which are the same as those for ordinary systems. The results in this paper might be expected to make theoretical background on extending the LQG/LTR method to systems with delay in the output.

  • The design concept of diesel engines for sea-going ships has been directed to Low-speed/Long-Stroke type to improve the efficiencies of combustion and propelling. But the time-delay property inevitable at such low speed engines gives much difficulties for governors to control the engine speed because they would be apt to go into unstable region especially when operating at low speed. The purpose of this paper is to study the problem of how the governor gain can be calculated dynamically in accordance with the variance of engine speed at least for an engine to be stable. In this study, the property of diesel engine was described as composed of combustion element including dead time and rotating element, and the ultimate gain for the speed control system to be located on the condition of stability limit was proposed based on the frequency characteristics. And the target gains with optimized stability also were proposed by giving proper margin to these ultimate conditions. The results were applied to a model system and the availability was confirmed to be satisfactory.
