산업용 냉각기의 열부하 변화에 대응한 정밀온도제어 특성 (Characteristics of Precise Temperature Control of Industrial Cooler on Thermal Load)

  • Recently, technical trend for machine tools is focused on enhancement of speed and accuracy. High speedy processing causes thermal and structural deformation of objects from the machine tools. Water cooler has to be applied to machine tools to reduce the thermal negative influence with accurate temperature controlling system. Existing On-Off control type can't control temperature accurately because compressor is operated and stopped repeatedly and causes increment of power consumption and decrement of the expected life of compressor. The goal of this study is to minimize temperature error in steady state. In addition, control period of an electronic expansion valve were considered to increment of lifetime of the machine tools and quality of product with a water cooler. PI controller is designed using type of hot-gas bypass for precise control of temperature. Gain of PI is decided easily by method of critical oscillation response, excellent performance of control is shown with 4.24% overshoot and ${\pm}0.2^{\circ}C$error of steady state. Also, error range of temperature is controlled within $0.2^{\circ}C$although disturbance occurs.

부분대역 잡음 재밍환경에서의 비동기 FH-BFSK 시스템의 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of Noncoherent FH-BFSK System in Partial-Band Noise Jamming)

  • 본 논문에서는 부분 대역 잡음 재밍이 존재하는 직교성 비동기 FH-BFSK 통신시스댐의 성능을 분석하였다. 그리고 전체 확산대역에서의 재밍대역 비융인 $\rho$값의 변화할 때 처리이득에 따른 비트에러확률을 분석하였다. 분석결과를 수치해석과 SPW를 이용한 컴퓨터 시율레이션을 수행하여 성능을 평가하였다. JSR이 lOdB일 때 시스템의 SNR이 lOdB이하라면 높은 처리이득에서도 error floor가 발생하여 요구하는 성능을 실현할 수 없었으며 SNR이 12 dB이상에서는 $\rho$의 변화에 따라 요구하는 에러확률를 만족하는 처리이득이 달라짐을 알 수 있다.

터보코드와 BCH코드의 연쇄부호화를 이용한 무선 ATM셀 전송의 성능 분석 (Performance of Wireless ATM Cell Transmission with Concatenated Turbo and BCH Coding)

  • 본 논문에서는 무선 ATM환경에서 ATM 셀을 전송할 때 터보부호와 BCH 부호를 이용한 연쇄 부호를 제안하여 비트 오류확률, 셀 손실 확률을 분석하였다. 사용된 연쇄부호는 부호율이 1/2인 터보부호와 오류정정 능력이 5비트와 15비트를 갖는 BCH부호를 이용하였다. 연쇄부호를 사용할 경우 터보코드를 사용 할 때와 비교하여 비트 오류확률이 0.001에서 0.2㏈ 와 0.4㏈ 비트 오류확률 성능향상을 보였다. 또한 셀 손실률이 0.01에서 연쇄부호를 사용할 경우 터보코더를 사용할 때 보다는 0.1㏈ 및 0.2㏈ 개선됨을 보였다.

  • In this paper, the well-conditioned observer for a stochastic system is designed so that the observer is less sensitive to the ill-conditioning factors in transient and steady-state observer performance. These factors include not only deterministic uncertainties such as unknown initial estimation error, round-off error, modeling error and sensing bias, but also stochastic uncertainties such as disturbance and sensor noise. In deterministic perspectives, a small value in the L$_{2}$ norm condition number of the observer eigenvector matrix guarantees robust estimation performance to the deterministic uncertainties. In stochastic viewpoints, the estimation variance represents the robustness to the stochastic uncertainties and its upper bound can be minimized by reducing the observer gain and increasing the decay rate. Both deterministic and stochastic issues are considered as a weighted sum with a LMI (Linear Matrix Inequality) formulation. The gain in the well-conditioned observer is optimally chosen by the optimization technique. Simulation examples are given to evaluate the estimation performance of the proposed observer.

퍼지 논리를 이용한 슬라이딩 모드 제어기의 인자 자동 튜닝

  • Sliding mode control guarantees robustness in the presence of modeling uncertainties and external disturbances. However, this can be obtained at the cost of high control activity that may lead to chattering As one way to alleviate this problem a boundary layer around sliding surface is typically used. In this case the selection of controller gain, control ban width and boundary layer thickness is a crucial problem for the trade-off between tracking error and chattering. The parameter tuning is usually done by trail-and-error in practice causing significant effort and time. An auto tuning method based on fuzzy rules is proposed in the paper in this method tracking error and chattering are monitored by performance indices and the controller tunes the design parameters intelligently in order to compromise both indices. To demonstrate the efficiency of the propose method a mass-spring translation system and a roboic control system are simulated and tested It is shown that the proposed algorithm is effective to facilitae the parameter tuning for sliding mode controllers.

  • The use of atypical antipsychotics is limited by occurrence of adverse reactions such as weight gain, despite of their benefits. This article provides a comprehensive review and discussion of the most significant findings regarding obesity-related pathways and integrates these with the known mechanism of atypical antipsychotic action. The focus of this article is primarily on the genetics of obesity related pathways that may be disrupted by atypical antipsychotics. This review also discussed weight gain, hyperglycemia or occurrence of diabetes while being treated with atypical antipsychotics from the point of view of pharmacogenetics. Pharmacogenetic research seeks to uncover genetic factors that will help clinicians identify the best treatment strategies for their patients. It will aid clinically in the prediction of response and side effects, such as antipsychotic-induced weight gain, and minimize the current "trial and error" approach to prescribing in the near future. This article also presents the genetics of both central and peripheral pathways putatively involved in antipsychotic-induced weight gain while providing a comprehensive review of the obesity literature. This article also review obesity related candidate molecules which may be disrupted during atypical antipsychotic drug treatment.

  • The PI controller has many trial-and-error steps for gain design. This paper proposes a new design concept. In this method, a degree of stability and Kharitonov theory are applied and the controller gain is directly expressed by system parameters and current controller's bandwidth. Simulation results for permanent magnetic synchronous motor(PMSM) driving systems confirm the validity of proposed method.

  • An unknown input observer is proposed that can be used in wheelbase preview control of commercial vehicles. The preview and state information, required to calculate actuator force, are reconstructed from the measurement variables such as heave and pitch acceleration. Gain matrix of observer is optimally selected so that influence of system and measurement noises on the estimation error can be minimized. Estimated preview information requires low pass filtering to eliminate high frequency components resulting from differentiation of noisy output signals. Effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by numerical simulation of half car model.

  • In this paper, by means of Lyapunov second method, the stability of IPD control servo systems is analyzed in the time domain for the first time. Based on the results of the stability analysis, the design rule to select the gain of IPD control is suggested such that the maximum error of output to the nominal system is guaranteed for all uncertainty and load variations. An example of a position control of a brushless dc motor is given to prove the unusefulness of the gain design rule.

  • A general dynamic iterative learning control scheme is proposed for a class of nonlinear systems. Relying on stabilizing high-gain feedback loop, it is possible to show the existence of Cauchy sequence of feedforward control input error with iteration numbers, which results in a uniform convergance of system state trajectory to the desired one.
