This study is to obtain basic data concerned with properties of foam for foamed concrete and foaming method. Main factors of this study are types of foaming agents, temperature of solution with foaming agents, and types of foam generator. Testing items are size distribution of foam, foaming ratio to solution, and stability of foam. The results of this study were shown as follow. It is optimum condition of foam generator that length/diameter of foaming tube is 2.0, bead size within foaming tube is $4\~6mm$, and nozzle size of foaming tube is 10mm. AES and AOS are good results to produce high quality foam, and stability of foam is good in foaming temperature of $20^{\circ}C$.

산업사회의 급속한 발전과 생활수준 향상에 따라 전력수요 및 공급전망에 대한 인식이 점차 강조되고 있다. 에너지자원이 부족한 우리나라는 전체 에너지의 약 97%를 수입에 의존하고 있으므로 전력공급의 정확한 수요예측을 통해서 안정적, 경제적으로 전력을 공급해야 한다. 2001년 전력산업구조개편에 따라 전력시장은 발전부문만 시장에 참여하여 경쟁하는 발전경쟁체제로 발전사업자의 입찰량과 전력거래소의 전력수요 예측 결과를 이용하여 시간대별 전력시장가격을 결정하는 가격결정발전 계획을 수립하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 청정 녹색에너지로 피크시간대에 발전하여 주파수 조절을 담당함으로써 전력계통에 크게 기여하고 있는 수력 발전기의 최적 입찰 전략 및 수력발전 사업계획에 활용할 수 있는 전력거래가격 전망 전략을 제시하여 수력발전사업자의 수익 증대와 전력시장 가격 안정화에 기여하고자 한다.

LCD 모니터 화면의 대형화와 슬림화에 따른 모니터 내의 백라이트용 냉음극 방전램프도 가늘어지고 길어지고 있으며, 하나의 램프를 이용한 백라이트로는 휘도의 한계가 있어 램프를 병렬로 사용해 필요한 휘도를 얻고 있다. 본 논문에서는 20인치의 대형 LCD 모니터의 백라이팅 즉 램프구동을 위한 안정적이면서 대출력을 가지는 멀티램프 구동용 인버터를 설계하였다. 본 연구에 사용된 20인치 LCD 모니터는 내부에 상하 각각 3개씩 6개의 램프를 내장하고 있으며, 제작된 인버터는 입출력 휘도대비 $90\%$의 효율을 얻었으며, 최대휘도에서의 램프간의 출력전류차가 미소하고, 8개의 멀티램프 구동도 가능하다.

ISO 9000 series, as quality management system that assesses quality system based on the documentation such as quality manual, documented procedures, specification is properly operated and then decides to give a certification, is a screening documented system that includes factors which may influence quality. Therefore, to have a proper documented system and its performance accordant to it is very important to the company which hopes to acquire the certification of ISO 9000 series. So, the objectives of this paper are to increase the efficiency of the work by cutting down efforts necessary to establish and revise documented procedures for the certification of the ISO 9000 series in the company using the documentation system.

The aim of this study was to introduce the history and development of German organic farming(Bio-dynamic Agriculture and organic agriculture) which has a worldwide reputation and initiative in organic agriculture. And also the organization of organic producer's or farmer's group such as AGOL, POB, OSL, ALOG & Schweisfurth Stiftung and its regional distribution, the basic standard of organic farming and certification system for organic food, an actual cultivated area for organic forming and organic livestock were also shortly reported. The government subsidizing programmes and Agenda 2000, the extension services for organic farming by government and private level, the research activities of organic agriculture by governmental research body(FAL) and universities, the education system for organic agriculture in the German universities(University of Bonn, Gesamthochschule Kassel, University of Hohenheim, University of Gie$\beta$en and etc) were also explained. In the conclusion it was suggested several issues what should be considered to facilitate an organic farming in Korea in the view of organic production, marketing, distributing, extension and organic processing.

Local pool boiling on the outside and inside surfaces of a 51 mm diameter tube in horizontal direction has been studied experimentally in saturated water at atmospheric pressure. Much variation in local heat transfer coefficients was observed along the tube periphery. On the outside surface the maximum and the minimum are observed at ${\theta}=45^{\circ}$ and $180^{\circ}$, respectively. However, on the inside surface only the minimum was observed at ${\theta}=0^{\circ}$. Major mechanisms on the outside surface are liquid agitation and bubble coalescence while those on the inside surface are micro layer evaporation and liquid agitation. As the heat flux increases liquid agitation gets effective both on outside and inside surfaces. The local coefficients measured at ${\theta}=90^{\circ}$ can be recommended as the representative values of both outside and inside surfaces.

Thoracic sympathetic ganglion block was not applied routinely because of high incidence of complication such as pneumothorax. We successfully managed a patient with sternal pain and a patient with scapular pain by thoracic sympathetic ganglion block. We concluded that thoracic sympathetic ganglion block was an effective treatment for intractable cancer pain. However precise anatomical knowledgement is essential.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors that influence safety rule violation at work. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 337 participants from nine manufacturing plants. The results of the content analysis revealed the following six categories: Individual characteristics, safety commitment, safety support and resources, safety competence and communication, production pressure, and problems with rules. Among the 14 factors in the six categories above, indirect accident experience in the individual characteristics category and no action for complying with laws in the problems with rules category had not been identified in previous studies. However, some factors, such as age, peer pressure, pay type, the lowering of risk, a masculine way of working, and supervisor position were not found in this study. The implications and limitations are discussed.

To evaluate constitutional preference and clinical symptoms on the foods, we statistically analyzed the 572 patients' data based on the Sasang Constitutional Information Bank (SCIB) in Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine (KIOM). As a result, these are supposed to constitution-related foods ; crucian, watermelon, barley, ginseng, honey, chicken, deer's horn, beef, cold foods. Among these, crucian, barley, cold foods are fit for Soyangin, ginseng, honey, chicken for Soeumin and deer's horn, watermelon, beef for Taeumin. Whereas pork and sliced raw fish are nothing to do with sasang constitution in this study.

This paper presents the design case of the 3-arch tunnel under existing railways and railway station building. The original construction method was the underpinning method supported by pipe-roof, but it was changed to the minded tunnelling method because of the complex construction condition and the safety problem. This 3-arch tunnel has a width of 28 meters and a height of 10 meters. Overburden is only 23m and the ground consists of the weathered soil and rock. Because the allowable settlements for the station building and railways are limited strictly, various measurements for the tunnel stability and the settlement minimization was considered.
