사회과 수업에서 집단탐구 협동학습 방법이 중학생의 학습태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Cooperative Group Investigation Method in Social Studies Classes on the Middle School Students' Academic Attitude)

  • 본 연구는 사회과 교수 학습에서 여러 협동학습 모형 중 GI 협동학습과 전통적 경쟁학습이 학생들의 학습태도에 미치는 영향을 비교 분석함으로써 특정 교수 학습 방법의 효율성을 탐색 해보려는데 그 목적이 있다. 지방 중소도시에 소재한 중학교 1학년을 대상으로 비교집단과 실험집단을 설정하고 일정 기간에 걸쳐 전통적 경쟁학습과 GI 협동 학습 모형을 투입 적용하였다. 두 그룹으로 나누어 한 그룹에 대해서는 실험수업을 적용한 후 t 검증을 통해서 각 수업모형별 학습태도 변화 여부를 확인하였다. 결론적으로 GI 협동학습은 전통적 경쟁학습보다 학생들의 학습 태도에 있어 긍정적 변화를 유도하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 변화는 GI 협동학습의 학습활동 과정에서 필연적으로 수반되는 학습에 대한 자신감 증진, 사회 교과에 대한 인식 변화, 집단 구성원간의 긍정적 상호작용 및 언어적 교류가 그 중요한 요인으로 작용한 결과로 보인다.

GI-STEAM 모형에 기반한 영재 프로그램이 초등영재의 리더십과 창의적 인성, 학습몰입에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Program for the Gifted based on GI-STEAM model on Leadership, Creative personality, and Learning flow of Elementary Gifted Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 GI-STEAM 모형에 기반하여 개발된 영재 프로그램이 초등영재의 리더십과 창의적 인성, 학습몰입에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 데 있다. GI-STEAM 수업모형은 협동학습 모형 중 집단탐구 모형(Group Investigation)과 STEAM 학습준거틀을 융합한 모형을 말한다. 연구참여자는 경기도 소재 Y시 초등학교 6학년 영재학급 학생 16명이며, 리더십, 창의적 인성, 학습몰입에 대한 사전검사를 실시하였다. 이후 GI-STEAM 프로그램 12차시를 적용한 후 리더십, 창의적 인성, 학습몰입에 대한 사후검사를 실시하였고, 프로그램에 대한 소감문 및 개별면담을 실시하였다. 사전-사후검사 결과를 대응표본 t-검정을 통하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, GI-STEAM 프로그램은 리더십의 개인 간 영역을 유의미하게 높여주는 것으로 나타났다. 하위영역으로는 의사표현, 조직관리 영역, 사회헌신, 팀워크에서 유의미한 향상이 나타났다. 둘째, GI-STEAM 프로그램은 창의적 인성영역에 있어서 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았고, 하위영역 중 심미성 영역에서 유의미한 향상이 나타났다. 셋째, GI-STEAM 프로그램은 학습몰입에 있어서 유의미한 향상을 보였다. 하위영역에서는 도전과 능력의 조화, 행위와 의식의 통합, 구체적인 피드백, 자기목적적 경험에서 유의미한 향상이 나타났다. GI-STEAM 프로그램은 교육부에서 제시한 2015 개정교육과정의 '창의융합형' 인재의 핵심역량 중 의사소통 역량, 심미적 감성역량, 공동체 역량 등을 기르는 데 효과적임을 알 수 있으므로, GI-STEAM 모형을 활용한 다양한 프로그램을 개발하여 교육현장에 제공할 필요가 있다고 판단된다.

A Descriptive Study on Students' Talk During the Presentation of Their Science Projects

  • Based on the Vygotskian perspective that a learner's thinking is constituted in his or her talk and the assumption that student talk in the classroom may occur in more than one way, this study examined discursive practices of students in Korean high school science classrooms. Data came from $11^{th}$ grade earth science classrooms where the Group Investigation (GI) method was implemented. Data source included verbatim transcripts developed from video recordings of class sessions in which students presented their science projects to the whole class and exchanged questions and answers during the presentations. The analysis of the videotape transcripts revealed five different modes of student talk, including 1) retrieving information, 2) reformulating information, 3) building on one's own experience, 4) elaborating current understanding, and 5) negotiating meanings with others. Considering that each of the five modes had different value for learning science, it was recommended that the teacher should engage students in more active modes of discourse and guide them into more sophisticated understanding of science.

Stress response as a contributing factor in horses with laminitis

  • Background: Laminitis is a complex and debilitating disease of horses. Numerous predisposing factors contribute to laminitis development, however the exact pathogenesis remains undetermined. Serum T4, cortisol, and histamine are components of the innate stress response and could play a causative or contributory role. Stress hormone concentrations in laminitis are largely unknown. Objective: To evaluate parameters associated with stress response in horses with laminitis, and compare these to healthy horses and horses with gastrointestinal (GI) disease. Methods: Thirty-eight adult horses presenting for non-medical conditions, GI abnormalities, or clinical laminitis were prospectively enrolled. Horses were assigned to the appropriate disease group (healthy, GI disease, and laminitis) and had blood drawn on presentation to the hospital. Samples were analyzed for plasma endogenous adrenocorticotrophic hormone (eACTH), serum cortisol, serum thyroid hormone, and plasma histamine. Results: Stress hormone concentrations were significantly different between horses in the laminitis and GI disease groups. Plasma histamine levels were highest in horses with laminitis, compared with GI disease and controls. Both horses with laminitis and GI disease had increased plasma eACTH when compared to healthy horses. Horses with GI disease had higher serum cortisol concentrations than horses with laminitis or controls. Serum T4 was lower in horses with GI disease than in horses with laminitis and controls. Conclusions: Horses with laminitis had relative increases in both plasma histamine and eACTH concentrations. Serum T4 and cortisol concentrations of horses with laminitis did not differ significantly when compared to healthy horses. The role of stress hormones in equine disease warrants further investigation.

프로젝트 접근법이 유아의 과학적 문제 해결력에 미치는 영향 (Effectiveness of the Project Approach Method in the Scientific Problem Solving Ability of Children)

  • In this investigation of the effectiveness of the Project Approach Method the 32 4-to 5-year-old subjects (16 each in the experimental and comparative groups) were pre-tested before the Project Approach Method was applied (23 times over 7 weeks) in the experimental group while the comparative group had science activities using standard unit methods of instruction. Then, all the children had a posr-test. Data were analyzed by t-test and ANCOVA. Results showed differences between the experimental group and the comparative group in their scientific problem solving ability. Specifically, effects were found on 14 sub-factors, but no difference were found on 3 sub-factors.

델파이 기법을 활용한 토석류 피해조사 항목 개발 (Development of the Damage Investigation Item to Debris Flow using the Delphi Method)

  • Recently, the frequency and intensity of localized heavy rain and typhoon due to the abnormal climate has increased, and especially the damage by an avalanche of earth and rocks similar to the landslide of Umyeon Mountain has become a social issue. However, the standardized damage investigation method doesn't yet exist, so the systematic analysis of the data has not been carried out. In this regard, this study developed assessment items to conduct standardized damage investigation of debris flow. To achieve this, preliminary assessment items were derived from analysis of literature review and the Delphi technique of 12 experts who are engaged in research facility, academia and industry was conducted. As a result, 29 assessment items which can be classified into 6 groups were determined. Surveying the relevant hand-on workers, details assessment items in each group were determined by exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis.

  • For the "Hopf bundle" $S^1{\rightarrow}S^{2n,1}{\rightarrow}\mathbb{C}H^n$, horizontal lifts of simple closed curves are studied. Let ${\gamma}$ be a piecewise smooth, simple closed curve on a complete totally geodesic surface $S$ in the base space. Then the holonomy displacement along ${\gamma}$ is given by $$V({\gamma})=e^{{\lambda}A({\gamma})i}$$ where $A({\gamma})$ is the area of the region on the surface $S$ surrounded by ${\gamma}$; ${\lambda}=1/2$ or 0 depending on whether $S$ is a complex submanifold or not. We also carry out a similar investigation for the complex Heisenberg group $\mathbb{R}{\rightarrow}\mathcal{H}^{2n+1}{\rightarrow}\mathbb{C}^n$.

  • The purpose of this study was investigation to examine the prevention diabetic mellitus and treatment effect on Gastrodia Elata Blume(GEB) dieted at prior and after induced diabetic application. Prior induced diabetic 3 weeks ago application GEB dieted. It is to analysis changes in body weight, blood glucose, SOD, CAT and histopathological findings. For the fingding significantly concentration diabetic rats were divided into 3 different experimental groups and each groups were induced diabetic. Experimental group Ⅰ (STZ-induced diabetic rats; n=10), experimental group Ⅱ (after induced DM and GEB dieted rats; n=10), experimental group Ⅲ (Prior GEB dieted thereafter DM induced; n=10). Prior and After GEB dieted application was that body weight, blood glucose were increase in experimental group Ⅱ, Ⅲ. Specially, group Ⅲ was significantly change than group Ⅱ at 1st weeks. and the level of CAT were significantly decrease in experimental group Ⅱ, Ⅲ than group Ⅰ. but SOD level was increase in experimental group Ⅱ, Ⅲ than group Ⅰ. In histological observation; group Ⅰ showed decrease in the intensity and incidence of vacuolations, cellular infiltration and hypertrophy of in liver and kidney. The Gomori's stain result, group Ⅰ showed disruption ${\beta}$-cell in pancrease.

집단탐구(GI) 협동학습 모형을 활용한 대통령 기록관 체험학습 프로그램 개발 (A Study on Development of Experience Education Model Based on GI Cooperative Learning in the Presidential Archives)

  • 대통령 기록관은 역대 대통령의 역사적 기록물을 다루는 기관으로, 교사와 학생을 대상으로 대통령기록물을 활용한 교육프로그램을 제공해오고 있다. 한편 교육부는 중학생의 교육과정에 자유학기제를 도입했고, 제 7차 교육과정에는 '창의적 체험활동'시간을 운영하고 있다, 이러한 체험활동을 위해 지역기관과 협력할 것을 권장하고 있지만 협조를 구하는 것이 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 대통령기록관과 학교의 연계를 통해 창의적 체험활동시간에 의미 있는 교육을 할 수 있도록 사회과 공통교육과정에 부합하는 대통령기록물을 활용한 체험학습 프로그램을 제안하고자 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 외 기록관의 체험학습의 현황을 분석하고 문제점을 도출하여, 체험활동에 적합한 협동학습모형을 선정하고 구성요소를 추출하여 체험학습 프로그램 모델을 제안하고자 한다.

Vesicle의 성질에 대한 콜레스테롤의 효과 (The Effect of Cholesterol on the Property of Vesicle)

  • Polymerized vesicles were prepared from monomeric cholesterol-containing surfactant. These vesicles were used to extract the free cholesterol. To introduce spacer group into [cholesteryloxycarbonylmethyl] [2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]dimethylammonium chloride (CHODAMA), [5-[ (cholesteryloxy)carbonyl]pentyl] [2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]dimethylammonium bromide (CHODAMA-5) and [10-[(cholesteryloxy)carbonyl]decyl] [2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]dimethylammonium bromide (CHODAMA-10) were synthesized, In both case of polymerized vesicle with CHODAMA-5 and CHODAMA-10, the permeability was decreased and the amount of extracted cholesterol was also decreased, compared with the polymerized vesicle of CHODAMA.
