과산화수소 증기를 이용한 다양한 쿠폰 표면의 Geobacillus Stearothermophilus 아포 제독조건 (Decontamination Condition of Geobacillus Stearothermophilus Spore on the Surface of Various Coupons using Hydrogen Peroxide Vapor)

  • Biological decontamination means the removal of microorganisms from the inanimate object such as building or equipment. In this study, hydrogen peroxide vapor efficacy test using VHP 1000ED system(Steris LifeSciences) were conducted for G. stearothermophilus spore with agent materials(aluminum, stainless steel, poly-carbonate, viton, silicone, kapton and glass). Total recovered spores exposed to hydrogen peroxide vapor(1.0 g/min) during 7, 15, 30, 60 min were calculated. As a result, all agent materials were totally decontaminated within 60 min at 1.0 g/min concentration with 35% hydrogen peroxide vapor. Finally, we could confirmed that hydrogen peroxide vapor possess sporicidal capacity of G. stearothermophilus and found the optimum decontamination conditions with VHP1000ED system.

학령기 비만아동과 정상아동의 리보플라빈 영양상태 비교 (Riboflavin Status of Obese and Nonobese Children in Primary School)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the riboflavin status of primary school children. Fiftyone subjects were selected as obese group and fiftyfive subjects were selected as control group according to Body Mass Index(BMI) of fifth-graders at a primary school in Taegu. For each subject information on nutrient intake and daily activity pattern were obtained by questionnaire. The riboflavin status was evaluated by urinary riboflavin exvretion The daily energy expenditure per kilogram of body weight was significantly lower in obese group(=47kcal/day) than in control group(=58kcal/day) (p<0.001) However the entire energy consumption was siginificantly greater in the obese children(=2005kcal/day) than their nono-baser peers(=1837kcal/day)(p<0.001). Riboflavin intake was 0.67mg/100kcal in the control group and 0.61mg/1000kcal in the obese group. Thus intakes for both groups met the current group and control group were 86.9$\mu\textrm{g}$/day and 98.7$\mu\textrm{g}$/day. repectively. There was no significnat Assesment of clinical signs of riboflavin deficiency indicated that angular lesion was 4.7% and glossitis was 6.6% of all subjects. Thirty one percent of subjects excrete riboflavin below 78$\mu\textrm{g}$/g creatinine which is defined as deficient. Therefore this group would be considered at high risk for developing riboflavin deficiency. From this study current recommendation of 0.6mg/1000kcal of riboflavin intake may not be adequate during growth and associated stress.

흑연분말의 첨가가 탄소/탄소 복합재료의 물성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Graphite Powder Addition on the Mechanical Properties of Carbon/Carbon Composites)

  • 흑연분말 첨가가 탄소/탄소 복합재료의 물성에 미치는 영향에 대하여 연구하였다. 페놀수지에 흑연분말을 0~30wt.%첨가하여 greenbody(G/B)를 제조하고 이를 $1000^{\circ}C$까지 탄화시켜 탄소/탄소 복합재료를 제조하였다. 굽힘특성은 G/B와 탄소/탄소 복합재료 모두 흑연분말 20wt.% 첨가시 최대치를 보였으며, 그 이상에서는 수지 내의inhomogeneity 증가 때문에 굽힘강도가 감소하였다. 페놀수지만을 경화시킨 경우에는 흑연분말을 20wt.% 첨가한 수지의 굽힘 강도가 첨가하지 않은 수지의 경우보다 낮은 값을 보였으나, 탄화 후에는 혹연분말의 첨가가 탄화수축 감소와 균열경로를 바꾸어 주는 효과를 주어서, 분말을 첨가한 시편의 굽힘 강도가 3배 이상 증가하였다. Mode II ENF 시험결과, G/B와 탄소/탄소 복합재료 모두 20wt.%의 흑연분말 첨가시에 에너지해방율($G_{II}$)이 증가하였으나, 분말의 첨가가 탄소/탄소 복합재료에 더 효과적임을 에너지해방율의 증가치로부터 확인할 수 있었다.

매실(Prunus mume)추출물이 쌀밥의 관능적 특성 및 저장성에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Prunus mume Extract on the Sensory Quality and Shelf Life of Cooked Rice)

  • 쌀밥의 저장성을 향상시킬 목적으로 밥물에 매실 추출물을 첨가하여 취반하고 쌀밥의 품질특성 및 저장성을 측정하였다. 매실 물추출물 500ppm과 매실 알콜추출물 500ppm이 첨가된 쌀밥의 관능성은 맛, 색깔 그리고 향기에서는 대조구보다 우수하였고, 조직감에서는 큰 차이가 없었으며, 매실 알콜추출물 500 ppm이 첨가된 쌀밥의 색깔이 가장 우수하였다. 색도는 매실 추출물 첨가로 L값은 감소하였고 a, b값은 증가하였으며 대조구와 색도차이($\Delta$E)는 매실 물추출물 500 ppm과 1000 ppm 첨가구에서 2.00과 4.85이며, 매실 알콜추출물 500ppm과 1000ppm 첨가구에서 2. 71과 3.36으로, 매실 추출물의 첨가량이 많아질수록 유의적인(0<0.05) 차이를 보였다. 이로써 쌀밥이 부패되었을 때 pH는 5.8~5.9, 적정산도는 0.1% 그리고 총 세균수는 $10^{8}$ cfu/g수준이었다. 3$0^{\circ}C$에서 저장중 대조구에서는 3일만에 변질이 되었으며 매실 알콜추출물 500, 1000 ppm 첨가구에서는 각각 4, 5일만에 변질되었으며 매실 물추출물 500ppm 첨가구에서는 5일만에 변질되었고 매실 물추출물 1000ppm 첨가구에서는 5일 까지 변질되지 않았다. 결론적으로 매실 추출물을 첨가하여 취반된 쌀밥의 저장성이 1~2일 이상 연장되었으며 매실 알콜추출물 보다 매실 물추출물이 쌀밥의 저장성에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • This experiment was conducted to obtained basical source for gathering seeds in flue- cured (NC 2326), and to investigate some characters on the relation to gathering number of capsules per a plant; amount of gathering seeds, weight per 1000 seeds and germination rate, respectively. As a results; correlation coefficient of number of capsules and amount of gathering seeds was pros(live correlation (r =0.9771**) , Weight per 1000 seeds (0.16g) was good from 39$\pm$2 capsules and amount of gathering seeds was 4.8g. So it is considered that method of gathering seeds wise proved to be a desirable 39: 2 capsules and amount of gathering seeds was 4- 5 gram.

  • 탄소재료는 높은 전기전도도 및 기계적 강도, 화학적 안정성, 큰 비표면적(1000~3000 $m^2$/g) 등의 특성 때문에 연료전지, 리튬이온 이차전지, 전기이중층 캐패시터(electric double layer capacitor, EDLC)의 전극활물질로 주목받고 있다[1]. 일반적으로 활성탄소섬유는 1000~3000 $m^2$/g의 비표면적을 갖기 때문에 종래의 필름 콘덴서와 세라믹 콘덴서에 비해 비약적인 고용량(체적당 수천 배, Farad급)을 얻을 수 있다. 전기이중층 캐패시터는 수명이 반영구적이며 사용온도의 범위가 넓고 안전하다는 장점을 지니고 있으며 이러한 캐패시터의 성능은 전극으로 사용되는 활성탄소 섬유의 비표면적, 세공의 크기, 구조 및 형태, 표면의 관능기 및 전기 전도도 등의 특성에 크게 좌우된다[1-3].   • Flight modes of automatic flight control system for light general aviation flight deck. Garmin G1000, were realized using Stateflow. In developing aircraft, it is difficult to verify the operational flight program in particular branch statement because developer can not see any visual logical steam. So, Stateflow has been used to visualize logical stream, transition from one flight mode to another flight mode. The performance was approved by applying flight mode transition conditions of G1000 to proposed transition system that is composed of states, switches, events, data and transition conditions. DURMI-II was used as 6-DOF simulation model.

  • These powder properties were investigated and prepared of ultrafine Mn-Zn ferrite powder by Direct-wet process from variation of oxidation condition. H2O2 oxidation the products were ultrafine spherical particles of about 400${\AA}$ in diameter and superparamagnetics. H2O2 and Air oxidation, Coexistance ultrafine spherical particles of about 400${\AA}$ and cubic particles of about 1000${\AA}$. The products were constructed of superparamagnetic and ferromagnetic particles, and Magnetization were about 30 emu/g. Air Oxidation, Above 6 hr Air 120 ι/hr and 4 hr of Air 180 ι/hr were uniform cubic particles of above 1000${\AA}$. The products were ferromagnetic particles and Magnetization of above 45 emu/g.

  • Rubber-modified polyurethane resin which was prepolymer type terminated with NCO, was synthesized by reacting isocyanate groups[NCO] and hydroxyl groups[OH]. Polybutadiene rubbers which had OH groups in the side of rubber chains, were charged at ratio $0%{\sim}40%$ of solid component in reactants. For products, physical properties were investigated experimentally. The results abtained in experiment were as follows. 1. Liquid resin and dried film was good solubility and clearity at less than 25%, 20% of rubber without being related to sort. 2. G-1000 showed better properties than R-45HT in solubility, dring time and adhesive strength. 3. Dring time and adhesive strength were considerably influenced by molecular weigh and structure of rubber. 4. In using 25% of mixed rubber(G-1000/R-45HT=50/50), It represented best properties in dring time(10 minute) and adhesive strength($23Kg/cm^2$).

Inhibitive Effect of Fuyuziphine isolated from Plant (Pittapapra) (Fumaria indica) on Spore Germination of Some Fungi

  • The alkaloid fuyuziphine was isolated from the whole plant of Fumaria indica. It had inhibitive effect against spore germination of some plant pathogenic fungi (Collectotrichum sp., C. gloeosporioides, C. falcatum, Curvularia maculans, C. lunata, Erysiphe cichoracearum, Helminthosporium pennisetti, Oidium erysiphoides, Ustilago cynodontis, Alternaria chieranthi, A. mel-ongenae, A. brassicicola and A. solam). Curvularia lunata, Oidium erysiphoides, Alternaria brassicicola and A. solani did not germinate at 750 and 1000 ppm and Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, C. falcatum, Curvularia maculans were inhibited at 1000 ppm for 24 hr incubation. Germination of most fungi was significantly inhibited at $100{\sim}750ppm$.
