  • This paper aims to work process of connecting rod die using CAD/CAM/CNC systems. CAD/CAM/CNC systems are consist of CAD(MDT4.0), CAM(Z-MASTER) software and CNC milling machine. CAM software is purpose to G-code generation for CNC programming. Then CAM software and CNC milling machine are connect to RS-232-C cable for data network.

  • This paper describes $\mu$-law PCM/ADPCM Code Conversion System. The system algorithm is computer-simulated, and with the result of simulation the system is designed by using the Am 2900 family's Bit-Slice Microprocessors which have a high-speed processing power. The ADPCM algorithm is based on Jayant's model and the converting algorithm between $\mu$-law PCM and linear PCM is developed according to the CCITT Recommendation G. 711.

  • NC 기술은 하드웨어적, 소프트웨어적으로 빠르게 발전하고 있다. 소프트웨어적인 측면에서 NC제어기는 다양한 적응제어, 지능제어를 지원하는 추세이며, NC 가공기의 경우 고속가공, 정밀가공의 기능적 측면에서 발전이 이루어지고 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 컴퓨터 기술의 발전에 힘입어 NC가공을 지원하기 위한 환경(CAD, CAM, CAE) 역시 바르게 변화하고 있다. 그러나 CAM과 CNC 사이의 데이터 인터페이스는 여전히 ISO 6983(“G-Code”)이 사용되고 있다.

  • In this paper, manufacturing system and Internet are combined and NC milling machine engraves image and text on nameplate. Image and text are input through Internet. And NC tool path is obtained by thinning algorithm and NC part program is generated. Thinning algorithm detects center lines from image and text by using connectivity and tool path is obtained along the center line. Actually experiments are performed and thinning algorithm and G-code generation module are verified.

  • Current code procedures for stress and stability analysis of new and existing concrete-gravity dams are primarily based on conventional methods of analysis. Such methods can be applied in a straightforward manner but there has been evidence that they may be inaccurate or, possibly, not conservative. This paper presents finite element modeling and analysis procedures and makes recommendations for local failure criteria at the dam-rock interface aimed at predicting more accurately the behavior of dams under hydraulic and anchoring loads.

  • For the efficient current drive, the structure of ICRF wave propagation and absorption in a tokamak plasma should be first investigated. In this paper, two dimensional study on FWCD as well as ICRF minority ion heating for the KSTAR [Korea Superconducting Tok Amak Research] [1] plasma was performed using the full wave code of TORIC [2]. The ICRF wave propagation and absorption structures, the competitive power absorption between electrons and ions and the coupling of antenna/plasma are investigated.
