이동로봇의 추적제어 및 장애물 회피를 위한 퍼지제어기의 설계 (Fuzzy Logic Controller Design for Tracking Control and Obstacle Avoidance of Mobile Robot)

  • We developed a FLC(Fuzzy Logic Controller) for tracking control of MR(Mobile Robot) with obstacle avoidance. In this research, we made a heuristic approach to tracking control which is simple and efficient in almost every situation using FLC. In addition, smooth turn is accomplished and also obstacles are avoided. Also we used the XX(don't care) linguistic variable for inputs in FLC to make simple rule-table. With various simulations, the validity of our FLC was shown.

  • The heat transfer model of ondol heating system is derived in the linear form. The step responses of On-Off controller, PID controller and Position type fuzzy controllers are compared in the sense of several aspects : variation of temperature feedback variable, variation of supplied heat quantity by the boiler, variation of flow rate, variation of thickness of the base, variation of the outdoor temperature.

  • In this paper, we propose a new modification method of the look-up table in self-organizing fuzzy control using look-up table. This method has the property that look-up table is modified to have fast response property. Its principle is that the controller forces the trajectory to go into the fast respose region which the error change amount is larger than the error at initial time whenever the reference or disturbance change. Also we introduce the variable learning speed coefficient which is proportional to distance from switching curve. And to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed method, we had simulation study for some examples and esecuted pole balance experiments with inverted pendulum.

  • The interactions between the excavation tool and the excavation environment are dynamic, unstructured and complex. In addition. operating modes of an excavator depend on working conditions, which makes it difficult to derive the exact mathematical model of excavator. Even after the exact mathematical model is established, it is difficult to design of a controller because the system equations are highly nonlinear and the state variable are coupled. The objective of this study is to design a fuzzy logic controller (FLC) which controls the position of excavator's attachment. This approach enables the transfer of human heuristics and expert knowledge to the controller. Expeiments are carried out to check the performance of the FLC.

  • Variable Structure Control(VSC) scheme with sliding mode is widely used to keep a control system insensitive to parameter variations and disturbances. However, the conventional sliding mode control has the undesired phenomenon of chattering which may become a serious problem. Also the restriction of the sliding mode regime cannot guarantee the insensitivity throughout an entire response. In this paper, the sliding surfaces, which are composed of three-line segments, are used to remove the reaching phase. Also, the concept of fuzzy logic is incorporated with the sliding mode control in order to control the unknown or partially known systems effectively. The proposed method is applied to a Double-Sided MM Type LDM to show its usefulness.

  • We design the stable controller with variable gains and reference velocity in order to apply to this controller the proper gains and reference velocity generated with fuzzy logic in on-line. The proposed controller is applied to solve two problems including the reference velocity tracking problem and speedy tracking problem. 심박변이도를 이용한 적응적 뉴로 퍼지 감정예측 모형에 관한 연구 (Implementing an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Model for Emotion Prediction Based on Heart Rate Variability(HRV))

  • 감정을 정확히 예측하는 것은 환자중심의 의료디바이스 개발 및 감성관련 산업에서 매우 중요한 이슈이다. 감정예측에 관한 많은 연구 중 감정 예측에 심박 변동성과 뉴로-퍼지 접근법을 적용한 연구는 없다. 본 연구는 HRV를 이용한 ANFEP(Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy system for Emotion Prediction)을 제안한다. ANFEP의 핵심 기능은 인공 신경망과 퍼지시스템을 통합해 예측 모델을 학습하는 ANFIS(Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System)에 기반한다. 제안 모형의 검증을 위해 50명의 실험자를 대상으로 청각자극으로 감정을 유발하고, 심박변이도를 구하여 ANFEP 모형에 입력하였다. STDRR과 RMSSD를 입력으로 하고 입력변수 당 2개의 소속함수로 하는 ANFEP모형이 가장 좋은 결과를 나타났다. 제안한 감정예측 모형을 선형회귀 분석, 서포트 벡터 회귀, 인공신경망, 랜덤 포레스트와 비교한 결과 본 제안모형이 가장 우수한 성능을 보였다. 연구 결과는 보다 적은 입력으로 신뢰성 높은 감정인식이 가능함을 입증했고, 이를 활용해 보다 정확하고 신뢰성 높은 감정인식 시스템 개발에 대한 연구가 필요하다.

Control of a Segway with unknown control coefficient and input constraint

  • This paper proposes a control method of the Segway with unknown control coefficient and input saturation. To design a simple controller for the Segway with the model uncertainty, the prescribed performance function is used. Furthermore, an auxiliary variable is introduced to deal with unknown time-varying control coefficient and input saturation problem. Due to the auxiliary variable, function approximators are not used in this paper although all model uncertainties are unknown. Thus, the controller can be simple. From the Lyapunov stability theory, it is proved that all errors of the proposed control system remain within the prescribed performance bounds. Finally, the simulation results are presented to demonstrate the performance of the proposed scheme.

  • 본 논문에서는 PMSG(Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator)의 가변속-고정피치(Variable-Speed Fixed-Pitch) 풍력발전시스템을 위한 FLC를 기반으로 하는 최대 전력점제어(MPPT) 알고리즘을 제시한다. 최근에는 풍속변화에 대응하여 최대전력을 발생할 수 있는 가변속 풍력발전 시스템에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행 중이다. 국내의 지형적 조건에 따른 바람의 영향으로 풍력발전 시스템의 MPPT제어가 반드시 필요하다. 종래의 풍력발전 MPPT 제어는 응답속도 등에 대한 문제점이 나타난다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 파라미터 변동에 강인한 FLC를 기반으로 하는 최대 전력점 제어(MPPT)를 제시한다. 또한 본 논문에서 제시한 알고리즘은 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 타당성을 입증한다.

A Novel Efficiency Optimization Strategy of IPMSM for Pump Applications

  • According to the operating characteristics of pump applications, they should exhibit high efficiency and energy saving capabilities throughout the whole operating process. A novel efficiency optimization control strategy is presented here to meet the high efficiency demand of a variable speed Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM). The core of this strategy is the excellent integration of mended maximum torque to the current control algorithm, based on the losses model during the dynamic and the grade search method with changed step by fuzzy logic during the steady. The performance experiments for the control system of a variable speed high efficiency PMSM have been completed. The test results verified that the system can reliably operate with a different control strategy during dynamic and steady operation, and the system exhibits better performance when using the efficiency-optimization control.
