In this paper, we introduce the concept of fuzzy (r, s)-adherence points, fuzzy (r, s)-accumulation points and fuzzy (r, s)-derived sets in double fuzzy topology. We investigate some of their properties. The relationship with double fuzzy closure operator was studied.

In this paper, we present some results on weak laws of large numbers for weighted sums of fuzzy random variables taking values in the space of normal and upper-semicontinuous fuzzy sets with compact support in a separable real Banach space. First, we give weak laws of large numbers for weighted sums of strong-compactly uniformly integrable fuzzy random variables. Then, we consider the case that the weighted averages of expectations of fuzzy random variables converge. Finally, weak laws of large numbers for weighted sums of strongly tight or identically distributed fuzzy random variables are obtained as corollaries.

This paper presents the automatic construction of fuzzy rule-based systems for diagnosing the faults of complex systems. Generally, fuzzy systems work well when we can use expert's experience to articulate fuzzy IF-THEN rules and memberships for fuzzy sets. When we cannot do this, we should generate the fuzzy rules and membership functions for fuzzy sets directly from experimental data. In this paper, we propose a new method on how to extract fuzzy sets and fuzzy rules. We also introduce an efficient fine-tunning algorithm of the parameters of membership functions.

Based on the geometrical representation of a generalized intuitionistic fuzzy set, we take into account all three parameters describing generalized intuitionistic fuzzy set and propose new methods to calculate the correlation coefficient for generalized intuitionistic fuzzy sets by means of mathematical statistics.

Since upper and lower approximations could be induced from the rough set structures, rough sets are considered as approximations. The concept of fuzzy rough sets was proposed by replacing crisp binary relations with fuzzy relations by Dubois and Prade. In this paper, we introduce and investigate some properties of intuitionistic fuzzy rough approximation operators and intuitionistic fuzzy relations by means of topology.

The fuzzification of convex sets in median algebras is considered, and some of their properties are investigated. A characterization of finite valued fuzzy convex set is given.
