Lunch Eating Pattern and Dietary Habits of High School Students Attending Online Classes during the COVID-19 Pandemic (COVID-19 시대 온라인 수업 날 점심을 스스로 차리는 고등학생의 식생활)

  • The COVID-19 pandemic has led to the curtailing of school meal services. This study aimed to compare the diets of students attending online classes who prepared their own lunch under these circumstances, with those of their counterparts who had their lunch prepared for them. In December 2020, a survey was conducted on 204 students (75 male and 129 female) at a high school in Gyeonggi-do. The results showed that more girls prepared their own lunch than boys (53.5% vs. 36.0%, respectively, P<0.05). Further, more participants with working mothers prepared their own lunch compared to those with unemployed mothers (60.8% vs. 23.0%, respectively, P<0.001). Lunch was prepared either by parents (47.5%), themselves (47.1%), or others (5.4%). A comparison of the Nutrition Quotient (NQ) was carried out between the subjects who prepared their own lunch and those who ate lunch prepared by their parents. The students who prepared their own lunch had significantly lower total (P<0.05), balance (P<0.01), and environment (P<0.01) sectors of NQ-A than their counterparts. Especially, subjects whose parents prepared their lunch had bean·tofu·soy milk more frequently (P<0.01), tended to eat vegetables more frequently (P=0.059), and skipped breakfast less frequently (P<0.01). In conclusion, this study suggested that high school students who have to prepare their own lunch at home during the COVID-19 pandemic are the newly emerging nutritionally vulnerable group. This study may provide the basic information necessary for preparing measures to maintain the diet quality of high school students during the COVID-19 pandemic and similar situations in the future when school meal services may not be available.

  • Today, home gardening is in the spotlight. Therefore, the necessity of developing a new type of gardening product was raised according to the consumer's desires. This study, the contents were developed using sparrows, a helper who helped the bean rat's grain-cracking task among the characters of 'kongjwi patjwi'. The cultural contents convergence product is a lid production that is used at the end of the plant support. The fabrication method was designed using UG NX program after design research, and after printing by 3D polyjet method, mold was made and cast into silicon and resin. Through product manufacturing, we could confirm the public's interest in the possibility of new products and creativity. In the future, it is expected that the development of products incorporating cultural contents through various cultural archetypes will be activated, contributing to the enhancement of economic added value and national brand value.

  • Blockchain is designed to collect and store the data recorded on the network in one block unit, and is connected and stored back and forth, and its form is similar to how the blocks are connected, so it is called a blockchain. Many companies are trying to popularize blockchain-based services at home and abroad, and blockchains are used in various industries. This study introduces the technical characteristics of the blockchain and deals with application services utilizing the blockchain. Introducing 5 types of blockchain architecture and core technologies and introducing blockchain application services that are used in payment services, blockchain service networks, blockchain real estate platforms, identity verification, cryptocurrency, diamond distribution path tracking, and blog information recording. do. It is expected to increase the understanding of the blockchain and provide usefulness in future blockchain research and service development.

  • The purpose of this study is to find a reasonable solution that is compatible with the government's policy on calming the overheated housing market and the needs of prospective home buyers. For this purpose, this study analyzed the current state of the housing market and looked at the root cause of the people's desire to purchase housing. And this study suggested the need to introduce a super-long-term mortgage system that can help people choose whether to own or rent a house in accordance with individual preferences. The super-long-term mortgage system would be useful in that the majority of people who currently use mortgages prefer long-term loan products and that it could provide a chance to "get their own homes" by easing the monthly repayment burden for those who want to have homes. If the system is introduced in the future, it is necessary to make efforts for stable operation such as risk-hedge. In particular, the government should apply a limited application to end-users so that they can curb rising housing prices and contribute to stabilizing housing prices.

  • The coffee grounds generated during the coffee extraction process contain several resources, but the technology for their recycling has not been commercialized yet, causing various environmental problems. Due to the recent increase in coffee consumption worldwide, the amount of coffee grounds produced has been continuously increasing, reaching more than 750 million tons. In Korea, about 120,000 tons of coffee waste are annually generated; however, most of them are landfilled or incinerated. Although there is still a shortage of coffee waste recycling technologies compared to the amount of coffee grounds produced, various recycling approaches are being actuated in many countries including Korea. In this study, the generation of coffee grounds at home and abroad, the status of coffee grounds recycling, and the associated technology development trends were investigated. The coffee grounds recycling has been studied in the fields of energy, adsorbent, construction, agriculture, and bio-foods. Research is most active in the energy and biotechnology areas; in particular, since the oil in the coffee grounds is valuable as a feedstock for biomass energy, the technology related to energy recovery is currently under development worldwide.   • The purpose of this paper is to contend the importance of resurrection of fluid identity and ecological imagination for making the habitable biosphere in Marilynne Robinson's Housekeeping. Ruth as a narrator suggests the future-oriented vision that the environment and nature(mother) can be resurrected, crossing Fingerbone bridge of the boundary line of society/nature as a faithful follower of her aunt Sylvie and becoming the existence with a transparent voice despite of her absence. This novel is to rewrite the American pastoral. Based on the patriarchical way despite of the absence of Edmund Foster, Sylvia's conventional housekeeping is to divide between inside and outside of the house. Nevertheless, Sylvia's relentless efforts to keep her house intact turns out to be fragile. Contrasting with Sylvia, Sylvie's housekeeping is to recognize the continuity of inside and outside. She willingly accepts the reconciliation of the self, the nature and the society. After Ruth and Lucille's staying at night in the lake, they are diverged into going their own way. Ruth accepts Sylvie as a substitute mother. Lucille leaves the house voluntarily and go to her Home Economics teacher, Miss Royce, pursuing the ideal mother of symbolic society. Sylvie and Ruth has the more intimate bond, with their trip to the deserted house in the valley. Ruth meditates on the non-solidity of house and the resurrection of her family. Leaving their house to escape from the town people's legal enforcement, Sylvie and Ruth become transients. Although their history is completed by the drown-death publicly, they always want to visit Lucille's well kept house in Fingerbone. Therefore the method for making Ruth and Sylvie as the existences of ecological imagination return to the real world is to accept the reconciliation of nature and society. This novel is not limited as the binary opposition of vagrance/stability and transience/durability. The significant element of fluid identity can be composed of the interactions with transience and stability.

Analysis on Preferred Elements of Urban Regeneration Design -Focusing on the Case of Bongsan Village- (도시 재생 디자인 선호 요소 분석 -봉산마을 도시재생 현황을 중심으로-)

  • The urban regeneration project is an activity that promotes the economy in underdeveloped commercial or residential areas and maintains urban communities through improvement of living in residential areas. Through this study, various successful cases of urban regeneration at home and abroad and surveys related to urban regeneration in Bongsan Village, Yeongdo, Busan were collected and analyzed. Key keywords for each case were derived, grouped, and top keywords were created. The 13 top keywords were evaluated using Likert's 5-point scale, and AHP was conducted for the 10 keywords that were finally selected. As a result of AHP analysis, the preference for "spatial and physical properties" was derived in the order of "publicity", "sustainability", and "identity". The preference of "content and system properties" was derived in the order of "resident participation", "convenience", "locality", and "local government participation". It is necessary to present a role as a design guideline for establishing urban regeneration designs in relation to various urban regeneration projects that will become more active in the future through the analysis of preferences of urban regeneration keywords derived through this study.

Analysis of the Frequency for Cable of Cable-Stayed Bridges to Temperature Variation (온도변화에 따른 사장교 케이블 고유진동수 분석)

  • Cable was targeted for cable, which is a main material of cable-stayed bridges that have high frequency of use at home and abroad and many future construction plans. First of all, experiments were conducted on temperature loads that were permanently used due to changes in temperature of cables and changes in air temperature, taking into account changes in normal fat. The dynamic characteristics of cables were compared and analyzed by applying various systems to change dynamic characteristics by applying temperature change of cables. Comparing and analyzing the dynamic characteristics of cables, the acceleration, frequency and tension of cables due to temperature rise tended to decrease, the degree of influence of displacement of cables was analyzed, and the results of the mode characteristics of cables were analyzed. In particular, the correlation of cable acceleration, natural frequency, and tension due to changes in cable temperature showed that the cable tension is highly sensitive to acceleration and natural frequency.

Medication Use Review Tools for Community Dwelling Older Patients: A Systematic Review (지역사회 거주 노인을 위한 약물사용검토 도구에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰)

  • Background and Objective: The use of potentially inappropriate medications (PIMs) increases the risk of negative health outcomes, including drug-related admissions. Tools for structured medication review have been developed to ensure optimal medication use and safety. Here, we aimed to evaluate medication use review (MUR) tools for community-dwelling older patients. Methods: We performed a systematic review of the literature according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Statement (PRISMA). We searched PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library from 1991 to 2020, excluding tools that are specifically applied to hospitalized patients or nursing home residents. We identified the most common inappropriate medications, drug-disease interactions, drug-drug interactions and prescribing omissions presented among tools. Results: From among 9,788 identified reports screened, 60 met our inclusion criteria; finally, 27 were eligible for data analysis considering originality and up-to-dateness. Most tools presented explicit criteria (93%), and only one was specific to community-dwelling elderly. The most common PIM was tricyclic antidepressants. Use of diltiazem and verapamil in patients with heart failure and the combination of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics and warfarin were the most frequent disease-specific PIM and drug-interaction, respectively. Conclusions: Although several medication review tools have been developed for older adults, specific guidelines for community-dwelling populations remain limited. Furthermore, the list of PIMs differed among available tools. In future, specific but integrating MUR tools need to be developed for clinical practice considering this population.

Development and Research of SMT(Smart Monitor Target) Game Interface for Airsoft Gun Users (AirSoft Gun 사용자를 위한 SMT(Smart Monitor Target)게임 인터페이스 개발 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a personalized SMT (smart monitor target) game interface for game users who enjoy airsoft sports as individual purchases of SMT have increased since the advent of the untouched era. For this study, the UX (user experience) of the game interface was designed based on previous research. In particular, the personalized game service was reinforced by adding the CP (command post) of the SMT system that performs the home function of the console game, which was intended to help the user maintain immersed in the game in the personalized space of the SMT. Major design elements for the SMT game interface included layout, color, graphics, buttons, and text, and the interface design was proceeded based on them. After composing a grid with a layout in which the tab function was applied to the interface with a vertical three-segment structure and the outer margin value secured, the military camouflage pattern and texture were applied to the colored tone to perform graphics work. Targets and thumbnails were produced as illustrations using experts to ensure the consistency of the interface, and then function buttons and texts on each page were used concisely for intuitive information delivery. The design sources organized in this way were developed using the Unity engine. In the future, we hope that game user-centered personalized interfaces will continue to develop and provide differentiated services unique to SMT systems in the airsoft gun market.
