Effects of IT Convergence-Contents on Occupational Performance in Elderly (정보기술(IT)융합 콘텐츠가 노인의 작업수행능력에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was done on the basis that IT convergence-contents can help the elderly. The effects of IT convergence-contents were analyzed on the occupational performance of the elderly. This investigation was done with 100 elderly people above 65 years of age who lived in local community and two senior welfare centers in Busan and Kyeongbuk. The 100 elderly people were split into two groups of 50: the one group who has experience with IT convergence-contents was the experiment group, and the other group with no experience was the control group. In both groups, body functions, cognitive functions, activities of daily living and community participation were tested. The experimental group had higher scores for cognitive function, and activities of daily living than that of the control group. In conclusion, future studies can support continued IT convergence-contents at the local business community level rather than with smaller samples. This work lays the groundwork for follow-up studies to evaluate the effectiveness of IT convergence-contents.

  • In this paper, I described a guide of developing contents to present the direction of developing contents for u-learning. After surveying a character of Ubiquitous computing and u-learning, I described a guide of developing contents which is composed 17 items in 5 fields. This guide is checked by experts and staffs to test a validity and reliability. As a result, It is proven having the validity and reliability. I expect it to guide the direction of developing contents for u-learning. Also, It will contribute to make effective contents which will not affected by technical development and can use continuously because of foreseeing the technical development of future.

  • As wireless internet market grows rapidly, demands of various contents in wireless internet is significantly being increased. The contents that customers are taking advantage of have changed from single media content to multimedia content. As the technology of cellular telephone and broadband grows, the development of multimedia contents that can future represent characteristic of user will be more increased. One example of such content developments is ring-tone content service. Ring tone content service changed from existing simple ring tone to various sound services that depend on characteristic of user. In this paper, we design and implement the multimedia greeting assistant system that firsthand produces multimedia greeting contents using various multimedia contents and provides multimedia greeting service to represent characteristic of user through elevating ring tone content service.

  • The purpose of this study are to show a new possibility of identity design to be used as tools of users identity expression, designing digital contents by studying on the methods to express users identities successfully in the digital contents design, and to present the possibility to expand the area of identity design. Digital contents are a communication media in it self, but this study tried to consider the digital contents as a tool of users communication or expression. The identity expression, which are not only makes communications efficient but also lets products and companies acknowledged by users, is one of the most indispensable factors in products competitive power in both the present and the future. However, no define methods of identity expression are settled as well as recognized by users properly and accurately yet, so that this study focuses on that point. Therefore, This study is advanced in the direction of establishing the concept of digital identity for an expansion of the media toward the identity expression in design as well as making researchers in successful identity expression ways by means of actual design, more than a graphic image making that simply decorates a digital contents. The point of this study is to show a new concept of identity design that expresses users identities so as to suggest another possibility of identity design.

  • In this paper the contention that a case study on the e-learning contents by students' levels. The Key word of the future e-learning contents are student-centered education that considers each student's ability, aptitude, and career choice. The major way to realize this student-centered education is to implement differentiated curriculum by students' levels. Especially, in the off-line class, this method Is very difficult because if superior and inferior classes are established, those who are placed in the inferior class will be hurt, but e-learning is realized that.

유통 생약재의 중금속 함유량 조사에 관한 연구

  • This study was carried out to research on the heavy metal contents of domestic and imported medicinal herbs. The heavy metals contents in 116 samples of 51 types of medicinal herbs were measured by using a modified Monier-Williams, mercury analyzer and inductively coupled plasma spectrometer(ICP). The heavy metal contents of medicinal herbs were as follows; Hg: 0.010(domestic: 0.010, imported: 0.010), Pb: 0.380(0.311, 0.449), Cd: 0.080(0.101, 0.059), As: 2.085(1.845, 2.324), Mn: 31.564(33.844, 29.283), Zn: 15.436(18.703, 12.168), Cu: 3.406(3.374, 3.437), Fe: 134.944(108.327, 161.561) by ppm unit. The measured values of Pb and Cd of domestic and imported medicinal herbs showed lower levels than the recommended levels of those in medicinal herbs by WHO/PHARM (Pb: not more than 10 ppm, Cd: not more than 0.3 ppm). Finally, this results will be used as a basic data for the future legislation on the regulation and control of heavy metal contents of medicinal herbs.

Development of Storytelling Program for Science Learning Utilizing Local Myths as Contents

  • Existing science education that excludes narrative thinking impedes the understanding of the context of workbook content. The object of this research is to develop a storytelling-learning program based on narrative thinking to elevate learners' interest in science and expand their inventive problem-solving abilities. Following an analysis of the current Korean curriculum, eight types of storytelling materials that utilize local content were developed for grades 7-9. The learning program used quest storytelling and was designed such that learning activities such as investigation, discussion, and experimentation were included in the process of solving each quest. Learners experienced an interest in storytelling learning resulting from participation in this storytelling-learning program. Moreover, learners demonstrated inventive problem-solving abilities in the process of completing the stories. During the process of assembling the storytelling materials, the students interacted with enthusiasm and generated ideas. The teachers indicated a positive feedback to the storytelling program as a new attempt to stimulate learners' interests. In the future, with continuous development and application, storytelling-science-learning programs that base science learning on narrative thinking are expected to be successful.

A Study on Compilations of 『Duchanggyeongheombang』 and its Practical Application (『두창경험방(痘瘡經驗方)』의 편집본과 그 활용에 대한 연구)

  • Objectives : To investigate how 『Duchanggyeongheombang』 has been adopted and edited in practical texts such as 『Gosachwalyo』, 『Sallimgyeongje』, 『Gosasinseo』. Methods : Based on the disassembled verses of a paragraph in the 『Duchanggyeongheombang』, the 「Duchanggyeongheombang」 contents in 『Gosachwalyo』, 『Sallimgyeongje』,『Gosasinseo』 were compared and examined. Results : 『Gosachwalyo』 directly summarized and quoted the contents of 『Duchanggyeongheombang』 written by Park, Jinhee, while the contents in 『Sallimgyeongje』 and 『Gosasinseo』 are mostly similar, summarizing and quoting from 『Gosachwalyo』. Conclusions : In the perspective of text categorization, while the professional and specialized contents of 『Duchanggyeongheombang』 has been excluded, it was edited in ways of increasing practicality. As these texts were widely dispersed to the public, we can conclude that 『Duchanggyeongheombang』 was very influential in the treatment of douchang(痘瘡, smallpox) among the public.

  • Today, Korean Society have stood on the transformation of Globalization and information. Under these radical changes, the Korean church faced the crisis of decline. In fact, decreasing population of new generation in the church who lead digital age makes the future of Korean church look black. This research tried to suggest mission strategy for new generation through develop worship contents using multimedia.
