주거 내 PC 사용공간 계획에 관한 연구;평형대별 아파트 내부평면을 중심으로 (A Study on the Planning for PC Use Space in Residences;Focus on the Unit Plan of Apartments According to the Size)

  • This study is aimed to provide a guide for PC use space in apartment. To achieve this, a design about PC use space which was considered adequate location, area, form was suggested. As methods of the study, survey research method and case study. The survey was taken by five hundred-eighty-nine people who used PCs in apartment from May 2005 to July 2005 in Je-Ju province for an analysis of data. The results of the survey were showed PC use space situation and furnitures layout patterns. The case was classified by unit plans of size, and it showed design example of PC use space. In case of the 20s pyeong(about 3.30 square meters) type, PC use space was located in dead-space in the residence with minimum scale, because of 20s pyeong types are smaller than the other types. In case of the 30s pyeong type, PC use space which was divided with a partition panel was located in the livingroom expanding the room space to the balcony. In case of the 40s pyeong type, PC use space was located in the room of sons or daughters which was arranged with other furniture. The adequate area of PC use space is 1.4$^{\sim}$2.2 square meters, and it should take into account furniture size and human active sphere. And PC use space of form should consider traffic line, personal space and privacy. Besides it is required of ergonomic design in chair, table in its scale. And it is necessary development of systematic furniture for PC use space.

마르셀 반더스의 프로젝트에 나타난 공간디자인의 표현특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Expression Characteristic in the Space Design as it Appears in Marcel Wanders's Project)

  • Marcel Wanders, one of the greatest designers in the world of contemporary design, was born in the Netherlands. His works run the gamut from interior design to furniture design to lighting design, building a unique world of works. He started to gain fame when he presented "Knotted Chair" at Droog Design in 1996, which was made out of aramid ropes and later became his symbol. In 2000, he established "moooi," a world-renowned design label. By giving characteristic qualities, his works are given meaning, and like a fantastical dream, their images are extremely fantastical and stimulating. As can be seen in his character cover, he puts emphasis on the harmony between minimalism and decoration, establishing his own unique design concept. In this thesis, based on Marcel Wander's design philosophy, his overall design characteristics were classified into theatrical effects and storytelling. Expressive elements depaysement, eclectic mixture, and scale modification were derived from theatrical effects and analyzed; for storytelling, object, semantic cues, and dream and fantasy were derived and analyzed. A distinguishing feature of such analysis is his meaning-centric design approach, the principle by which to form long-term relationships with the users by creating user-centric designs that make them find meaning and values in diverse experiences in their daily routine, giving them familiar yet unique experience.

농촌 마을회관의 유니버설디자인 적용성 평가 - 전남 화순군 25개 마을회관을 중심으로 - (The Evaluation of the Village Community Center in Aspects of Universal Design Principles - Focused on 25 Village Community Centers in Hwasoon Province -)

  • This study aimed to evaluate how universal design principles are embodied in the village community center. It will provide preliminary data on constructing a physical space of village community center as small community space in agricultural districts. To achieving the purpose in this study, the research conducted inspection using checklist to 25 village community centers at Hwasoon, Jeonnam province. The conclusion of this study is as follows: Living room and kitchen/dining room by supportive design urgently need installation of Western Style furniture and solutions of stair gap by accessible design, and also the evaluation is unsuited on a fire-gas alarm system and prevention of electric shook system on safety-oriented design. Entrance evaluated in principle for insufficient on safety handle by supportive design and spare chair by adaptable design, and also it unsuited on the solutions of door sill by accessible design and non-skid by safety-oriented design. Bathroom is insufficient lever handle and safety grip by supportive design, sink isn't suitable by adaptable design. Outdoor space information legislation staircase ramp installation and horizontal installation of the staircase was not built.

치과의원의 실내 공간에 나타난 아이덴티티 요소에 관한 연구 - 서울과 부산지역의 치과의원 중심으로 - (A Study on Identity Elements Expressed in the Inner Spaces of Dental Clinics - Focused on dental clinics in areas of Seoul and Busan -)

  • As life quality have grown today, People have been greatly interested in health. Moreover, new knowledge and concepts are being applied in the medical facility field and that makes the field expand constantly. Hereby, this research is a study on design elements of dental clinics and the research goals are to understand interior design of current dental clinics by investigation and analysis on furniture, closing materials, colors and so on, and to investigate esthetic and functional environments for dental clinics through analyzing upcoming trends of inner spaces of dental clinics. The investigation was conducted by visits to four clinics per each research area, where are in Busan area and opened after year 2000 and are located in Seoul and Busan. Though the spaces of dental clinics vary according to the characteristics of each clinic, it generally has a consultation room, a waiting room and an X-ray room. The closing materials that make patients feel at ease are used in the waiting room, and ones that make patients feel tidy and fresh are used in consultation spaces, spare spaces, and management spaces. In Seoul area, antique and harmonic colors are used, and modernistic colors are used in Busan area. Reception desks, chair units, sofas and sink storage shelfs are the common furniture in the clinic. We have learned what are mentioned above by research and investigation on the component characteristics of dental clinic spaces. Based on these, more systematical and in-depth research should be continued.

미국 콜로니알 주택과 실내 양식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Interior Style of American Colonial Housing)

  • 지금까지 미국의 주택은 주로 현대 양식에 대해서 알려져 있고 전통적 주택과 실내 양식에 대해 제대로 알려져 있지 않았다. 그러므로 여기서는 미국의 전통적 주택인 콜로니알 시대 주택의 표현 특징과 실내의 요소별 특징을 구체적으로 파악하여 콜로니알 양식을 규명하고자 할 뿐 아니라 이를 통해 디자인과 제작의 기초자료로 제공하고자 하였다. 문헌을 중심으로 고찰한 결과에 의하면 일반적으로 알려진 것과 달리 콜로니알 주택은 영국의 죠지안 주택 양식을 그대로 모방하기보다 미국적 기후와 지역 특성에 조화하는 방식으로 정립되었으며 주택과 실내의 많은 요소가 유사한 표현 특징을 나타내었으나 그 바탕에는 합리적이며 실용적인 디자인이 배경이 된 것을 알 수 있었다. 주택의 발전은 오랜 시간을 통해 이루어졌으며 상자형의 2층 목조의 측면 박공 지붕 형태에 비늘판벽 마감을 하였으며 전면의 가장 중요한 장식 요소로는 현관문인 것으로 나타났다 공간은 일실에서 2실과 4실 구조로 발전하였고 실내는 초기에는 바닥, 벽, 천장이 모두 나무를 주재료로 하는 방식에서 점차 죠지안의 영향으로 패널, 벽지를 사용하였고 벽난로가 있는 면을 제외하고 플라스터를 사용하는 방식으로 발전하였다. 가구는 영국 영향의 치펜데일, 퀸 앤의 의자가 대표적이었으나 지방 특색이나 종교적 영향에 의해 등장한 소박한 형태의 가구가 배치되었으며 영국 영향의 가구에도 융통성과 편리성이 고려된 디자인이 특징인 것으로 나타났다.

Hussein Chalayan의 실험적 디자인 (Experimental Design Depicted on Hussein Chalayan' Works)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the experimental design by using deconstructive design and mobile design depicted on Hussein Chalayan' works. Hussein Chalayan, the Turkish-Cypriot who is based in London, says' Challenging is the best word for me'. And so word, 'radical' that has difficult connotations was chosen for this study It implies two menainigs for the word. The first thing is "extreme" - something that is drastic. And 'Applied to clothes', it can probably mean "experimental". He has iconoclastic ideas and his ramp shows are always high on concept, experimentation of art and utility. His approach to fashion derives from philosophical and intellectual theories of deconstruction and mobility, which he expresses through his designs. Deconstructionism, in fashion, rejects customary rules and breaks all conventions. It questions aesthetic norms about bodily proportions and the criteria of beauty, emphasizes the adding on, or discovery of, an irrational moment, and reveals the processes of tailoring in clothing. The shape and the construction of the garment is more important than the color. Cuts. tears, asymmetries, matching different materials are among the most evident features of the deconstructive design. And Chalayan performed the mobile design of transforming furniture into clothes. Chair covers became dresses. a coffee table became a skirt which were designed by Chalayan, with geometric and architectural references. Chalayan says he was inspired by the idea of refugees fleeing. Besides Chalayan uses clothing as an art to reinterpret and reform the human body in a continuous tour de force of body/identity conceptualism and dressmaking. He reflect the body's function in the cultural context of architecture, science, or nature - and then attempt to translate his findings into clothing.dings into clothing.

일본 디자인그룹 "형이공방(型而工房)"의 활동과 업적에 관한 평가-토요쿠치 카츠헤이의 디자인 활동을 중심으로- (A Study and Evaluation of Japanese Design Group "Keiji Kobo" -especially on the designs of Toyokuchi Katshei-)

  • 형이공방(Keiji Kobo)은 독일 바우하우스의 교육활동이 그 정점에 있던 1928년에 결성되어 전쟁의 기운이 짙어져서 더 이상 활동을 할 수 없었던 제2차 대전 직전까지의 약 10년 간 미래를 내다보는 혜안으로 건축의 새로운 사조를 표방하는 근대디자인을 목표로 하여 여러 가지 활동을 한 희귀한 자생적 디자인 연구단체로써, 일본이 서구 디자인 사조를 흡수하여 현대 디자인의 장을 화려하게 펼치는 데 상당한 영향을 끼친 상징적 단체이다. 형이공방에서는 산업시대를 전제로 한 새 시대의 생활공예-합리적인 생활가구-를 추구함으로써 근대적 사고를 실천하기 위하여 활발한 활동을 전개하였다. 이 공방의 작업은 조사 시작(試作) 실험 연구 전시회 강습회 주문판매 광고 집필이라는 많은 영역에 걸쳐있다. 그 활동은 결코 상업적인 목적으로 변질되지 않은 진지한 것이었으며, 군국주의 일본이라는 당시의 특수한 시대적 배경에 비추어 보더라도 놀랍도록 기능주의 사고를 견지한 순수하고 투명한 이념을 가지고 있었다. 이 공방은 어슬프고 규모가 적은, 10년 남짓 활동했던 연구집단이었다. 그러나 조용했던 그 활동 속에는 불같은 의지가 숨어 있었으며, 오늘의 기준에서 보더라도 그 파급효과를 과소평가 할 수 없음을 알게 되었다. 일본의 오늘과 같은 발전의 이면에는 무수한 선각자의 기여가 있었을 터인즉, 형이공방의 그것도 디자인분야에 관한 한 빠트릴 수 없는 것 중 하나이다. 미루어 짐작컨대, 당시의 일본 지식인들은 그들의 헌신과 활동이 대중의 삶의 질을 근대화시키는 데 하나의 기여가 되기를 하나같이 열망하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 형이공방은 어떤 의미에서 일본에서의 꽃피다 만 작은 바우하우스라고 평가할 만하다.
