Riboflavin synthase from Escherichia coli is a homotrimer of 23.4 kDa subunits and catalyzes the formation of one molecule each of riboflavin and 5-amino-6-ribitylamino- 2,4(1H,3H)-pyrimidinedione by the transfer of a 4-carbon moiety between two molecules of the substrate, 6,7- dimethyl-8-ribityllumazine. Each subunit comprises two closely similar folding domains. Recombinant expression of the N-terminal domain is known to provide a $C_2$-symmetric homodimer. In this study, the binding properties of wild type as well as two mutated proteins of N-terminal domain of riboflavin synthase with various ligands were tested. The replacement of the amino acid residue A43, located in the second shell of riboflavin synthase active center, in the recombinant N-terminal domain dimer reduces the affinity for 6,7-dimethyl-8-ribityllumazine. The mutation of the amino acid residue C48 forming part of activity cavity of the enzyme causes significant $^{19}F$ NMR chemical shift modulation of trifluoromethyl derivatives of 6,7-dimethyl-8-ribityllumazine in complex with the protein, while substitution of A43 results in smaller chemical shift changes.

Der Schiedsspruch hat die Wirkung eines rechtskraftigen Urteils, hat also materielle Rechtskraft. Aber die Wirkung nicht von Amts wegen zu beachten ist wie beim Urteil. Vollstreckbar ist er dagegen nicht ohne weiteres, er muß erst durch das staatlich Gericht fur vollstreckbar erklart werden. So ist vorsorglich eine Uberprufung eingeschaltet, ob der Schiedsspruch Ordnungsgemass erlassen ist, vor allem ob ein Aufhebungsgrund, denn in diesem Fall wird der Spruch nicht fur vollstreckbar erkart, sondern aufgehoben. Der Schiedsspruch bringen Nachteile und Gefahren mit sich, die von Staat wegen abzuwehrenn sind. Yon der Beachtung der guten Sitten und der offentlich Ordnung kann der Schiedsspruch nicht befreien, sonst ist der schiedsspruch aufzuheben. Wenn das Schiedsverfahren unzulassig war wegen fehlerhafter Besetzung des Schiedsgericht oder wegen Unwirksamkeit des Schiedsvertrag, die vom staatlichen Gericht uneingeschrankt nachprufbar ist. Das Schiedsgericht kann sie also nicht bindend vemeinen, ihm fehlt die Kompetenz-Kompetenz. Wegen bestimmter, abschlissend aufgezahlter verfahrensmangel, auff denen der Schiedsspruch beruht, die Aufhebung des Schiedsspruch kann verlant werden. Das Schiedsgericht konnen das schiedsgerichtliche Verfahren fortsetzen und den Schiedsspruch erlassen, auch wenn die Unzulassigkeit des schiedsrichterlichen Verfahren behaupt, insbesondere wenn geltend gemacht, dass ein rechtsgultiger Schiedsvertrag nicht bestehe oder dass der Schiedsvertrag sich auf den zu entscheidenden Streit nicht beziehe. Das Fehlenn einer gultigen Schiedsvereinbarung stellt fur auslandische Schiedsspruche ein Anerkennungs-hindernis und fur inlandische Schiedsspruche einen Aufhebungsgrund dar. Der BGH billigt einem privaten Schiedsgericht die sogenannte Kompetenz-Kompetenz- klausel zu, d. h. die Befugnis, mit bindender Wirkung fur die staatlichen Gerichte uber seine eigene Kompetenz zu entscheiden, also uber seine Zustandighkeit und damit Reichweite und Gultigkeit der betreffenden Schiedsabrede. Der BGH befand, dass das Berufungsgericht nicht befugt gewesen sei, die von dem Parteien vereinbarte Schiedsklausel im Hinblick auf ihren Umfang selbest auszulegen, ohne zuvor Beweise uber die vom Beklagten geltend gemachte Kompetenz-Kompetenz-Einrede zu erheben. Schiedsspruch eines Schiedsgericht gegen das Verbot der Entziehung des gesetzlichen Richters verstoßen wurde und auch dem Prinzip des socialen Rechtsstaat zuwiderliefe. Damit laßt sich abschließend feststellen, daß es nach Schiedsverfahrensrecht keinerlei schiedsgerichtlich Kompetenz-Kompetenz in dem Sinne gibt und geben kann, daß das private Schiedsgericht ganz oder auch teilweise mit binender Wirkung fur die staatlichen Gerichte uber die guntigkeit und Reichweite der betreffenden Schiedsabrede entscheiden darf. Auch international ist man sich daruber einig, daß es Sache der staatlichen Gerichte ist, abschliessend uber die Zustandigkeit des Schiedsgerichtes zu entscheiden.

The Dps protein, which is overexpressed in harsh environments, is known to playa critical role in the protection of DNA against oxidative stresses. In this study, the roles of Fur in the expression of the dps gene in Salmonella and the protection mechanisms against oxidative stress in Salmonella cells preexposed to iron-stress were investigated. Two putative Fur boxes were predicted within the promoter region of the S. typhimurium dps gene. The profile of dps expression performed by the LacZ reporter assay revealed growth-phase dependency regardless of iron-status under the culture conditions. The fur mutant, $_X4659$, evidenced a reduced level of ${\beta}$-galactosidase as compared to the wild-type strain. The results observed after the measurement of the Dps protein in various Salmonella regulatory mutants were consistent with the results acquired in the reporter assay. This evidence suggested that Fur performs a function as a subsidiary regulator in the expression of dps. The survival ability of Salmonella strains after exposure to oxidative stress demonstrated that the Dps protein performs a pivotal function in the survival of stationary-phase S. typhimurium against oxidative stress. Salmonella cells grown in iron-restricted condition required Dps for full protection against oxidative stress. The CK24 (${\Delta}dps$) cells grown in iron-replete condition survived at a rate similar to that observed in the wild-type strain, thereby suggesting the induction of an unknown protection mechanism(s) other than Dps in this condition.

The current study aims to classify types of traditional fur Garments in Jeju into Dusik(hat), dress, Jokui(socks) and accessaries, and examine characteristics of them through demonstrative study focusing on collections of museums in Jeju. Dusik is a kind of hat for protection against the cold, and there are badger leather Gamtaes and cow hair Beonggeojis(fur hats). Especially leather gamtae was used to protect against the cold when people hunted roe deers in Mt. Halla. Beonggeoji was producted in the form of felt with fine hair collected coat-shedding of cows and dogs in spring, therefore it was too warm and practical to be damaged from storm or pressure. Fur coat is a general name of dress made of leather without hair. It is a kind of clothes with a hat worn while taking care of horses and cows. Also people wore dog leather topcoats and cow leather topcoats when they hunted in Mt. Halla. As for Jokui, there are leather Beoseon(socks) made of cow leather, leather shoes in the form of straw shoes, and leather Balle embracing the low half of the body warmly. Accessaries include a rectangular cow leather bag for storing an iron piece for making fire. These traditional fur robs in Jeju not only have practicality for protection against the cold, but also symbolized richness by using leathers of badgers, roe deers, etc. that were previous during that times. Also they used partially cut leather for decoration at the edge.
