This paper deals with the applicability of extended layerwise optimization method (ELOM) for frequency optimization of laminated composite plates. The design objective is the maximization of the fundamental frequency of the laminated plates. The fibre orientations in the layers are considered as design variables. The first order shear deformation theory (FSDT) is used for the finite element solution of the laminates. Finally, the numerical analysis is carried out to show the applicability of extended layerwise optimization algorithm of laminated plates for different parameters such as plate aspect ratios and boundary conditions.

The purpose of this study is to contribute to a understanding the philosophical foundation of Parse's and Watson's theory of nursing. Parse's human becoming Research Methodology, Principle and main concepts are based on existential phenomenology. And Watson's theory of human care indicate that the optimal method for studying and inquiring theory of trans-personal caring is phenomenological-existential methodology. The chief theme of this study ist to illuminate how ideas and concepts of existential phenomenology are applied to Parse's and watson's theory of nursing. Content of this Study are summarized as follow; 1. Principles, concepts, theoretical structure of Man-Living-Health theory were investigated in Parse's theory of nursing as Human science. 2. Essential assumptions, chief concepts and methodology of human science and human care were investigated in Watson's theory of trans- personal caring. 3. Phenomenological analysis of "Human being" und poetic thinking of truth were described in the context of the Heidegger's fundamental ontology und existential phenomenology. 4. Meaning of existential subjectivity, freedom and choice war interpreted according to Sartre's existential philosophy 5. Phenomenological analysis of perception und function of body were investigated in the context of Merleauponty's existential phenomenology. 6. Ultimately this study provided how ideas and concepts of existential phenomenology war applied to Parse's und Watson's nursing theory und methodology.

In this tutorial, we integrate the concept of cognitive radio technology into game theory and supermarket game theory to address the problem of resource allocation in multiuser multicarrier cognitive radio networks. In addition, multiuser multicarrier transmission technique is chosen as a candidate to study the resource allocation problem via game and supermarket game theory. This tutorial also includes various definitions, scenarios and examples related to (i) game theory (including both non-cooperative and cooperative games), (ii) supermarket game theory (including pricing, auction theory and oligopoly markets), and (iii) resource allocation in multicarrier techniques. Thus, interested readers can better understand the main tools that allow them to model the resource allocation problem in multicarrier networks via game and supermarket game theory. In this tutorial article, we first review the most fundamental concepts and architectures of CRNs and subsequently introduce the concepts of game theory, supermarket game theory and common solution to game models such as the Nash equilibrium and the Nash bargaining solution. Finally, a list of related studies is highlighted and compared in this tutorial.

The response of functionally graded ceramic-metal plates is investigated using theoretical formulation, Navier's solutions, and a new displacement based on the high-order shear deformation theory are presented for static analysis of functionally graded plates. The theory accounts for a quadratic variation of the transverse shear strains across the thickness, and satisfies the zero traction boundary conditions on the top and bottom surfaces of the plate without using shear correction factors. The plates are assumed to have isotropic, two-constituent material distribution through the thickness, and the modulus of elasticity of the plate is assumed to vary according to a power-law distribution in terms of the volume fractions of the constituents. Numerical results of the new refined plate theory are presented to show the effect of the material distribution on the deflections, stresses and fundamental frequencies. It can be concluded that the proposed theory is accurate and simple in solving the static and free vibration behavior of functionally graded plates.

This paper uses the four-variable refined plate theory for the free vibration analysis of functionally graded material (FGM) rectangular plates. The plate properties are assumed to be varied through the thickness following a simple power law distribution in terms of volume fraction of material constituents. The theory presented is variationally consistent, does not require shear correction factor, and gives rise to transverse shear stress variation such that the transverse shear stresses vary parabolically across the thickness satisfying shear stress free surface conditions. Equations of motion are derived from the Hamilton's principle. The closed-form solutions of functionally graded plates are obtained using Navier solution. Numerical results of the refined plate theory are presented to show the effect of the material distribution, the aspect and side-to-thickness ratio on the fundamental frequencies. It can be concluded that the proposed theory is accurate and simple in solving the free vibration behavior of functionally graded plates.

이 글은 헤겔 정치철학의 근본적 통찰을 '공공적(public) 자유 이론과 공공철학(public philosophy)'이라는 관점에서 해명하고자 한다. 이 글에서 헤겔의 자유이론을 공공적 자유를 지향하는 것으로 이해하면서 이런 자유이론의 현재적 의미를 드러내보고자 한다. 이 글에서 헤겔의 공공철학에 대한 해석을 통해 비판하고자 하는 대상은 두 가지이다. 하나는 원자론적 개인주의이고, 다른 하나는 레비나스(Levinas) 및 데리다(Derrida)가 옹호하는 절대적 타자이론이다. 달리 말하자면 이 글에서 필자는 헤겔의 공공적 자율성 이론이 원자론적 개인주의의 한계를 분명하게 보여준다는 점에서 뿐만 아니라, 레비나스-데리다적인 접근방식과 구별되는 타자(other)에 관한 이중적-복합적 이론을 포함하는 주체이론을 제공하고 있다는 점을 강조하고자 한다.

본 논문은 과도 고장을 가지는 비동기 순차 머신에 대한 내고장성 교정 제어를 다룬다. 본 논문에서 다루는 고장은 머신이 과도 상태 천이를 거칠 때 발현할 수 있으므로 비-기본 모드(non-fundamental mode)에서 원하지 않는 상태 천이를 일으킨다. 본 논문에서는 비동기 순차 머신의 비-기본 모드에서 발생하는 과도 고장을 탐지하고 극복할 수 있는 새로운 내고장성 제어 시스템을 제안한다. 교정 제어 이론의 틀 안에서 내고장성 제어기의 존재 조건과 설계 과정을 제시한다. 또한 제안된 제어 시스템의 효용성을 검증하기 위해 FPGA 실험을 실시한다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify effectiveness of fundamental nursing practices in clinical settings. Method: This study adopted the triangulation method. Using one group pre-post test design, this study identified differences in self efficacy between pre and post clinical practice. The study was also designed to describe the nursing student's experience of clinical practice by using content analysis Results: 1) All students experienced bedmaking, BST check, V/C check, positioning, transferring, assisting with moving and positioning, and ROM. Sixty percent of students experienced giving oral care, and forty percent experienced shampooing patient's hair. 2) While the mean score of self efficacy was 3.88 in the pre-test, it decreased to 3.76 in the post-test. They were statistically different from each other. 3) Seven categories were elicited from the result of content analysis on the nursing student's experience, which were 'ignorant stranger', 'facing the gap between theory and practice', 'resolving the uncertainty of clinical setting', 'getting used to fundamental nursing practice', 'motivated by a desire to study and self-development', 'understanding the nursing profession's job', and 'being helpful for the future career'. Conclusion: Fundamental nursing practice in clinical settings is a useful strategy that improves fundamental nursing skills and motivates student's self-development.

Gator Szego was one of the most brilliant Mathematicians. Mathematical science owes him several fundamental contributions in such fields as theory of functions of a complex variables, conformal mapping, Fourier series, theory of orthogonal polynomials, and many others. He wrote the famous Polya-Szego Problems and Theorem in Analysis which is the two volume of concentrated mathematical beauty. In this paper, we mention Szego's life, Szego's work, and Szego reproducing kernel.

In this paper, we provide the algebraic foundations to the theory of relative $\ell$$_1$ homology. In particular, we prove that $\ell$$_1$ homology of topological spaces, both for the absolute case and for the relative case, depends only on their fundamental groups. We also provide a .proof of Gromov's Equivalence theorem for $\ell$$_1$ homology, stated by Gromov without proof [4].
