It's not easy to detect the high quality and functional compounds for control quality of food materials. The electronic nose was an instrument, which comprised of an array of electronic chemical sensors with partial specificity and an appropriate pattern recognition system, capable of recognizing simple or complex odors. It can conduct fast analysis and provide simple and straightforward results and is best suited for quality control and process monitoring in the field of functional foods. Numbers of applications of an electronic nose in the functional food industry include discrimination of habitats for medicinal food materials, monitoring storage process, lipid oxidation, and quality control of food and/or processing with principal component analysis, neural network analysis and the electronic nose based on GC-SAW sensor. The electronic nose would be possibly useful for a wide variety of quality control in the functional food and plant cultivation when correlating traditional analytical instrumental data with sensory evaluation results or electronic nose data.

The recent Web service field emerges as the fastest growing IT paradigm as a result of the increasing interest in SOA (Services-Oriented Architecture) and the expansion of B2B market. With an increasing number of Web service that provide similar features, it becomes more important to provide the most appropriate service for the user's request. A service user in general requires the quality information of Web service when selecting a service among a number of similar Web services. Yet, finding a service through UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery and Integration) does not consider the non-functional aspects of users because it is only based on the functional aspects. That is, the quality, non-functional aspect will be an important factor for the mutual success of the user and provider. Using 3 factors in the Qos factors of the existing studies: the execution cost, reliability, and the quality level, the QoS of Web service is saved and the factors for the QoS are recorded in order to consider non-functional factors when selecting a Web service in this study. The Quality Broker determines the rank and shows the desired result of the service for users. The Quality Broker suggested in this thesis can be used to select a Web Service that considers the user-oriented and non-functional factors.

This study investigated the difference of reference price, preference and quality perception of high functional underwear according to innovation cues. High functional underwear was selected as a research stimulus due to its technological innovative characteristics. A total of 93 male university students participated as subjects and data were collected by simple random experimental design operationalized with three types of innovation stimulus cues. Two types of internal reference price perception-expected price and fair price, preference, and 9 items of product quality perception-8 functional properties and overall quality of stimulus were measured with a questionnaire. The result supported the difference of reference price and quality perception by product innovation cue. The higher cue level group perceived two types of reference price and the overall quality higher than the lower cue level group. The difference of the expected price and fair price, the influence of functional properties on overall quality, and relations of the variables were discussed in depth.

본 연구는 정보기술의 품질이 조직성과에 미치는 과정을 실증분석을 통해 검정하고 결론을 제시하였다. 조직이 정보기술을 확보하는 것만으로는 조직성과를 향상시킬 수 없으며, 정보기술과 조직성과 사이에 매개역할을 수행하는 정보기술을 활용하는 활동이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 정보기술의 품질을 기능품질과 운영품질로 구분하였다. 기능품질은 정보기술 자체가 지니는 특성으로, 운영품질은 정보기술이 조직 경영활동의 효과적인 지원으로 설정하였다. 연구모형 에서는 기능품질이 운영품질을 통해 조직성과로 이어진다는 것을 제안하였다. 실증분석 결과 정보기술의 기능품질이 운영품질을 통해 조직성과로 이어지는 과정이 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 그러나 정보기술의 기능품질이 조직성과에 미치는 직접효과는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막 결론에서는 본 연구가 가지는 경영 관점에서의 의미를 논의하고 향후 연구방향을 제시하였다.

Background: Recent inquiries into high-quality foods have discussed the importance of the functional aspects of foods, in addition to traditional quality indicators such as color, firmness, weight, trimming loss, respiration rate, texture, and soluble solid content. Recently, functional Chinese cabbage, which makes up a large portion of the vegetables consumed in Korea, has been identified as an anticancer treatment. However, the investigation of practical issues, such as the effects of storage conditions on quality indicators (including functional compounds), is still limited. Purpose: We reviewed various studies on variations in the quality indicators and functional compounds of Chinese cabbage in response to different storage environments, focusing on storage temperature and storage period. In particular, we emphasized the effect of storage temperature and storage period on glucosinolate (GSL) levels, in order to provide guidelines for optimizing storage environments to maximize GSLs. Additionally, we used response surface methodology to propose experimental designs for future studies exploring the optimal storage conditions for enhancing GSL contents. Review: Large variations in quality indicators were observed depending on the cultivar, the type of storage, the storage conditions, and the harvest time. In particular, GSL content varied with storage conditions, indicating that either low temperatures or adequate air composition by controlled atmospheric storage may preserve GSL levels, as well as prolonging shelf life. Even though genetic and biochemical approaches are preferred for developing functional Chinese cabbage, it is important to establish a practical method for preserving quality for marketability; a prospective study into optimal storage conditions for preserving functional compounds (which can be applied in farms), is required. This may be achievable with the comprehensive meta-analysis of currently published data introduced in this review, or by conducting newly designed experiments investigating the relationship between storage conditions and the levels of functional compounds.

Multi-functional voltage source inverters (VSIs) have attracted increasing attention in recent years for their advantageous auxiliary services for power quality enhancement in autonomous microgrids. These types of VSIs can not only achieve a proper control scheme in autonomous mode but also cope with the prescribed power quality and stability requirements. These functionalities are integrated within the same device, thereby significantly improving the cost-effectiveness of microgrids while decreasing the investment and bulk compared with those of multiple devices with independent functionalities. Control strategies for power quality enhancement in autonomous microgrids using multi-functional VSIs are comprehensively reviewed in this paper. In addition, such VSIs are discussed in detail, and comparisons of which are also provided. Lastly, a number of future research directions for multi-functional VSIs are recommended.

This study examines the structural relationships between service quality, satisfaction, and behavioral intentions in responsible tourism. In particular, the study focuses on moderating effects of age. Data were collected from 471 tourists from seven responsible tourism agencies. SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 18.0 were used for frequency, reliability, exploratory factor, confirmatory factor, and path analyses. The results of a exploratory factor analysis yield two dimensions of service quality (functional quality and technical quality). The results of structural equation modeling indicate that functional quality and technical quality had positive effects on satisfaction, which in turn had a positive effect on behavioral intentions. In addition, age moderated the relationships between service quality, satisfaction, and behavioral intentions such that functional quality had a positive effect on satisfaction in the group of tourists in their twenties and thirties and that functional quality and technical quality were important factors for tourists in their forties. The results are expected to help responsible tourism communities better manage service quality to increase tourist satisfaction.

The purpose of this study was to identify factors that influence the functional status of chronic lung disease patients. Method: A descriptive, correlational study design was used. The study was conducted at the outpatient respiratory clinic of the large university hospital in Korea. A convenience sample of 128 chronic lung patients (age = 64.2 yrs; 106 COPD, 17 bronchiectasis, 5 DILD) with mean FEV1 64.4 % predicted. Functional status was measured with SIP. Physical variables (FEV1% predicted, dyspnea, fatigue, pulmonary symptom distress), psychological variables (mood, stress), and situational variable (sleep quality) were examined. Dyspnea was measured by the BDI, fatigue was measured with the MFI. Mood was measured with the modified Korean version of POMS. Sleep quality was measured with the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. Potential independent variables for the regression were age, gender, years since diagnosis, FEV1% predicted, dyspnea, fatigue, pulmonary symptom distress, stress, and sleep quality. Result: In general, functional status was relatively good. In regression analysis, functional status were significantly influenced by dyspnea, mood, age and fatigue. These variables explained 70 % of the variances in functional status. Conclusion: The results suggest that psychophysiologic symptom management should be a focus to enhance the functional status in this group.

Apples are one of the most produced fruits in Korea, with 2,423,000 tons of fruits produced in Korea in 2018, of which 365,000 tons (MAF, 2018) account for about 15% of the total production. For quality safety after harvesting apples, the application of MA(modified atmosphere) packaging technology (Mostofi et. al., 2008) is being actively studied. In addition, the effects of functional packaging materials that have added functions such as fireproof, antibacterial, high-blocking, degradability, and far-infrared radiation have been studied (Chung et al., 2009). In addition, there are reports of the effects of quality changes (Park et al., 2007) and MA storage methods on the quality of apples by packing apples with functional MA films((Park et al., 2004). But there are only few reports on quality safety by analyzing the correlation between the change of reducing sugar and total sugar and preference during storage by packing Geochang, Yeongju, and Yesan apples in functional MA film. Therefore, this study aims to propose a method to secure the quality safety of apples by investigating the effect of sugar change on the preference of apples during storage by packing apples in three regions in functional MA films.

본 연구는 서비스스케이프가 다른 서비스품질에 대한 선행변수로서 서비스 품질에 대한 지각과 서비스 만족, 서비스에 대한 충성도를 형성하는 과정에 대한 영향을 조사하였다. 이에 위해 서울지역 프랜차이즈 커피전문점 소비자 300명을 조사하여, SPSS 24.0과 AMOS 24.0 버전을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서비스스케이프를 구성하는 세 개의 하위 잠재요인인 주변요인, 디자인요인, 청결요인의 구조방정식 계수가 모두 정(+)의 방향으로 유의하게 나타났다. 둘째, 서비스스케이프는 기능적인 품질과 기술적인 품질에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타난 반면 서비스스케이프의 서비스만족에 대한 직접적인 영향은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 서비스스케이프가 기능적인 품질과 기술적인 품질을 통해 서비스 만족과 서비스 충성도에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 서비스스케이프는 예상되는 서비스 품질에 대한 단서로서 다른 서비스 요인들에 대한 소비자의 품질 지각에 영향을 주고, 서비스 만족과 서비스 충성도의 형성과정에 긍정적인 영향을 준다는 것을 입증하였다.
