Missing values for unit root processes are imputed by the most recent observations. Treating the imputed observations as if they are complete ones, semiparametric unit root tests are extended to missing value situations. Also, an invariance principle for the partial sum process of the imputed observations is established under some mild conditions, which shows that the extended tests have the same limiting null distributions as those based on complete observations. The proposed tests are illustrated by analyzing an unequally spaced real data set.

The characteristics of tip vortex within a blade tip region were examined experimentally in various flow coefficients by the way of changing tip clearance and blade stagger angle in an axial Low Speed Research Compressor(LSRC). The objective was to identify the unsteady pressure distribution in the blade passage by ensemble average technique acquired from high-frequency response pressure transducers and the tip vortex by root mean square value(RMS value). Data were reduced statistically using phase-lock technique for detailed pressure distributions.

We have experienced 18 abdominal aortic aneurysms between March,1987 and June,1994.Unruptured patients were 11 cases and ruptured were 7.The fifth[33.4% ,sixth[27.7% and seventh[27.7% decades were most common age distributions.Sex ratio was 2.6:1[m:f .The most frequent symptoms were abdominal or back pain and palpable pulsating mass.Sixteen patients underwent resection and graft replacement.One patient refused operation.Atherosclerosis was the underlying pathology in 76%.Two ruptured patients died postoperative[28.5% .The frequency of postoperative complication was higher in the ruptured group.

The Nakagami m-distribution is used to model different fading environments and shown to fit experimental resutls more accurately than other distributions. In this paper, the probability of symbol error for M-ary QAM with square signal constellation in frequency-nonselective shlow Nakagami fading and additive white Gaussian noise is derived. When Nakagami fading index is integer, the derived resutls leads to the closed-form of a finite series.

In this paper, Power Flow Boundary Element Method(PFBEM) has been developed for one and two dimensional noise and vibration problems in the medium to high frequency ranges. Green functions used for PFBEM are the fundamental solutions of energy governing equations. Both direct and indirect methods of PFBEM have been formulated and numerically applied to predict the vibrational energy density and intensity distributions of simple beams, rectangular plates and L-type plates.

The sampling was made by a kind of trap nets and an electric fishing apparatus in the lagoons of Arcachon Bay. Length frequency distributions obtained by two gears are combined to propose more reliable length composition of the population. The biomass was estimated by the capture and recapture method in a limited area with electric fishing apparatus, and it was redressed based on the corrected length composition. It showed approximately 638kg/ha in the deeper parts of the lagoons. It suggests that the lagoons of Arcachon Bay contain relatively high density of eels.

Let $T_{\phi}$ be a generalized Gauss transformation and $[a_1,\;a_2,\;{\cdots}]_{T_{\phi}}$ be a symbolic representation of $x{\in}[0,\;1)$ induced by $T_{\phi}$, i.e., generalized continued fraction expansion induced by $T_{\phi}$. It is shown that the distribution of relative frequency of [$k_1,\;{\cdots},\;k_n$] in $[a_1,\;a_2,\;{\cdots}]_{T_p}$ satisfies Central Limit Theorem where $k_i{\in}{\mathbb{N}}$ for $1{\leq}i{\leq}n$.

Sharpness enhancement, which strengthen the edge(high frequency) of image, is widely studied for image processing research area. In this paper, psychophysical experiment is conducted by the 20 observers with simple linear unsharp masking for sharpness enhancement. The experimental results extracted using z-score analysis and linear regression suggests observer preferable sharpness enhancement method for digital television.

As the power density and switching frequency increase, thermal analysis of power electronics system becomes imperative. The analysis provides valuable information on the semiconductor rating, long-term reliability. In this paper, thermal distribution of the Non Punchthrough(NPT) Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor has been studied. For analysis of thermal distribution, we obtained results by using finite element simulator, Ansys and thermal distributions form experiments.

We will deal with an n locus model in which mutation and gene conversion are taken into consideration. Also random partitions of the number n determined by chromosomes with n loci should be investigated. The diffusion process describes the time evolution of distributions of the random partitions. In this paper, we find the probability of distribution of the diffusion process with special diffusion operator $L_1$ and we show that the average probability of genes at different loci on one chromosome can be described by the rate of gene frequency of mutation and gene conversion.
