  • In this paper, We have conducted a Compact SELCA-Rod design by using FreeCAD. FreeCAD is many modern design applications such as Revit or CATIA. It is based on the concept of Workbench. A Workbench can be considered as a set of tools specially grouped for a certain task. Also It has an extensive list of features FreeCAD implements. We use this practical tool and proceed the research on Compact SELCA-Rod which is attracted the most IT-related products in 2014. SELCA-Rod is mostly based on rod-shaped form as in name. However rod-shaped design has the biggest problem for mobile Through this research, We propose a new type of SELCA-Rod. It is easy to carry and take pictures from different angle.

  • In this paper, the FREECAD 0.14 was used for modeling conventional Selfie-stick and the newly proposed Selfie-stick design. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the utility of FREECAD 0.14, which is open-source and still in development for further use. After modeling the conventional Selfie-stick, CatiyaV5 was used to assemble FREECAD 0.14 drawn elements. Main issue in newly designed Selfie-stick is the portability. To improve portability of the Selfie-stick, folding mechanism was adopted from folding LED stands. Several mechanisms were adopted to improve user convenience as well. Ansys 14.0 was used for structural analyses of conventional Selfie-stick model and the newly designed model as well. Several simplifications for the models were needed to process the analyses. When analyzing the newly designed model various materials were used one by one to find compatible composition. Using Magnesium Alloy for the stick and the hand grip was found to be compatible. FREECAD was useful for suggestion of the newly designed model but not so much useful to design an actual product. Various efforts would make FreeCAD the best choice for industrial use for free as it is named.

  • Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) seeds were used to study a possible relationship between strontium and polyamines (PAs) in the coleoptile, root, and endosperm during germination. When $Sr^{2+}$ (0.001 mM + 10 mM) was applied to the incubation medium with $10\;{\mu}M$ $GA_3$, great increases in putrescine (Put) were observed in root and spermidine (Spd) in the coleoptile, depending on the concentration. In germinating seeds, putrescine accumulation was induced even at a low concentration (0.01 mM Sr), whereas spermidine accumulation was stimulated considerably at a high concentration (10 mM Sr). The putrescine levels, on a gram fresh weight (g-fr-wt) basis, in the roots which were growth-inhibited by 1 and 10 mM $Sr^{2+}$ were 22.4 and 15.3 fold higher respectively than at the same concentrations of $Ca^{2+}$. The accumulation of total polyamine (TA), in particular Put and Spd, induced by Sr seemed to be an important physiological response not only on a g fr wt basis but also on an RNA basis. In contrast, the levels of agmatine (Agm) and cadaverine (Cad) were notably enhanced by 10 mM $Ca^{2+}$ in the coleoptile and root. Cadaverine was detected only in $Ca^{2+}-treated$ seedlings. However, $Ca^{2+}-treatment$ in the range of 0.001 mM to 1.0 mM resulted in reduction of TA content. The distinction of accumulated polyamines and the change in diamine (DA) / TA and tri- and tertiary (tPA) / TA ratios were likely to be a physiological difference between $Sr^{2+}$ and $Ca^{2+}$ during germination in wheat.

  • Purpose: Abnormal myocardial perfusion may be caused by ventricular preexcitation, but its location, extent, severity and correlation with accessory pathway (AP) are not established. We evaluated perfusion patterns on myocardial perfusion SPECT and location of AP in patients with WPW (Wolff-Parkinson-White) syndrome. Materials and Methods: Adenosine Tc-99m MIBI or Tl-201 myocardial perfusion SPECT was performed in 11 patients with WPW syndrome. Perfusion defects (PD) were compared to AP location based on ECG with Fitzpatrick's algorithm or electrophysiologic study and radiofrequency catheter ablation. Results: Patients had atypical chest discomfort or no symptom. Risk of coronary artery disease (CAD) was below 0.1 in 11 patients using the nomogram to estimate the probability of CAD. Coronary angiography was performed in 4 patients (mid-LAD 50% in one, normal in others). In 4 patients, AP localization was done by electrophysiologic study and radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA). Small to large extent ($11.0{\pm}8.5%$, range:$3{\sim}35%$) and mild to moderate severity ($-71{\pm}42.7%$, range:$-2l7{\sim}-39%$) of reversible (n=9) or fixed (n=1) perfusion defects were noted. One patient with right free wall (right lateral) AP showed normal. PD locations were variable following the location of AP. One patient with left lateral wall AP was followed 6 weeks after RFCA and showed significantly decreased PD on SPECT with successful ablation. Conclusion: Myocardial perfusion defect showed variable extent, severity and location in patients with WPW syndrome. Abnormal perfusion defect showed in most of all patients, but it did not seem to be correlated specifically with location of accessory pathway and coronary artery disease. Therefore myocardial perfusion SPECT should be interpreted carefully in patients with WPW syndrome.
