In this paper, we developmed and implemented router and bandwidth broker that provides end-to-end QoS in differentiated service IP networks. Our design goal is to provide end-to-end premium service using the EF PHB. The bandwidth broker and router were implemented in the FreeBSD 4.6 platform. For the DiffServ router, we implemented QoS daemon, rollback managment routine, monitoring, and COPS-PR client. Also, Ive implemented bandwith broker which has SLS and resource management function, and signaling protocols for interfacing intra-and inter-domain. On the testbed, we have validated and evaluated the performance of the implemented DiffServ router and bandwidth broker using the inter-domain signaling protocol client in MS Windows platform. The test results show that the end-to-end QoS can be guaranteed for the inter-domain diffServ by the implemented system.

To improve the ability to determine a vehicle's movement information even in a challenging environment, a hybrid approach called non-Gaussian square rootunscented particle filtering (nGSR-UPF) is presented. This approach combines a square root-unscented Kalman filter (SR-UKF) and a particle filter (PF) to determinate the vehicle state where measurement noises are taken as a finite Gaussian kernel mixture and are approximated using a sparse Gaussian kernel density estimation method. During an outage-free GPS period, the updated mean and covariance, computed using SR-UKF, are estimated based on a GPS observation update. During a complete GPS outage, nGSR-UPF operates in prediction mode. Indeed, because the inertial sensors used suffer from a large drift in this case, SR-UKF-based importance density is then responsible for shifting the weighted particles toward the high-likelihood regions to improve the accuracy of the vehicle state. The proposed method is compared with some existing estimation methods and the experiment results prove that nGSR-UPF is the most accurate during both outage-free and complete-outage GPS periods.

This study was conducted to examine the quality characteristics of Oncorhynchus masou stock containing various amounts of tomato (2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10%). To accomplish this, the moisture contents, Hunter's color value, pH, salinity, sugar contents, free sugar contents, minerals and free amino acid were measured. The b value decreased, while the L value, a value, pH, salinity, sugar contents, total sugar (fructose, glucose, sucrose) and minerals (Na, Mg, K, Ca, Fe) increased as the ratio of tomato increased. A total of 33 free amino acids were detected, and the amino acid content increased as the ratio of tomato increased. Investigation of different attributes revealed that tomato content significantly affected color intensity, savory flavor and tomato taste. In the acceptance test, stock containg 8% tomato was preferred for flavor, taste, texture and overall quality ; therefore, this was taken as the optimal tomato content for maximizing the overall quality of Oncorhynchus masou stock.

In this paper, we proposed that immersive audio effect method using the effective noise to improve engagement in free-viewpoint TV(FTV) service. In the basketball court, we monitored the frequency spectrums by acquiring continuous audio data of players and referee using shotgun and wireless microphone. By analyzing this spectrum, in case that users zoomed in, we determined whether it is effective frequency or not. Therefore when users using FTV service zoom in toward the object, it is proposed that we need to utilize unnecessary noise instead of removing that. it will be able to be useful for an immersive audio implementation of FTV.

In a new age of smart tourism, free independent travelers (FITs) choose their travel routes in a more diversified and less predictable way with the aid of smart services. This paper focuses on the movements of Chinese outbound FITs in the U.S. in the year of 2018. 110 places to visit (destinations) extracted from 122 travel routes recommendations on Qyer.com, a major online travel community in China, are analyzed with social network analysis (SNA). Based on the results of SNA, employing degree centrality, eigenvector centrality, betweenness centrality, network visualization, and cluster diagram methods, some preferred cities and natural attractions outside city centers (i.e., New York City (NYC), Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington D.C., and Niagara Falls) are identified. Moreover, it is found that NYC in the East and Los Angeles in the West play a major role in the movements of Chinese FITs. This study contributes to the body of knowledge on tourist destination movements and provides valuable implications for smart service development in the tourism and hospitality industry.

This study aims to propose service features for next generation service of open access journals by analyzing service features of leading journal database services. As a result, four service features are suggested such as journal article components and multimedia features, expanded searching features, social service features and mobile information service.

Recently MVNO has been adopted to reform the monopoly structure of mobile telecommunication industry in Korea. MVNO is expected to not only enable mobile telecommunication industry more free, but also provide various welfare service with customers, in particular mobile payment system service. Based on TAM, this paper is to investigate the affecting factors of intention to use of mobile payment system service in MVNO environment. The results indicate that all system quality factors are significantly related to both perceived usefulness and perceived easy of use, but only stability of service quality factor is significantly related to the perceived usefulness. Perceived easy of use was found to be siginificantly related to the intention to use of mobile payment system in MVNO environment, but percevied usefulness was not.

In this paper, the uAPSS(u-APartment Service System) that is based on location-aware technology is designed and implemented for a luxury apartment. On the real luxury apartment the developed system has been employed and tested to provide convenient and secure living for residents. It provides services such as emergency call, intelligent elevator operation, and hands-free door access based on the location of the residents with personal device as called smart tag. It can also be applied to other service areas such as the location-aware u-Service for hospitals, high-rising complex buildings, silver towns, etc.

The Comprehensive Measures for a soft landing of Household Debts affecting the credit service of Fisheries Cooperative (FC) have been known to the public in June 2011. Its essential points are as follows: 1) Abolition of Tax-free Regulation, 2) Set limit of loans, etc. per person, 3) Introduce leverage regulations for credit-specialized financial sector i. e. FC, 4) Gradually strengthen loan-loss reserve requirements for card-loan and other credit loans. However, the Financial Policy Measures seem to pay no attention to the Cooperative's Values, Principles and Identity. In this paper, emphasis is be placed on the task of the regulators i. e. Financial Services Commission and Financial Supervice Service to lift the Financial Measures negatively affecting the operation of fund of FCs, and on the establishment of Cooperative identity in order to further develop FCs.

This paper is concerned with warranty cost models for a product with two types of failure ; type 1 failures corrected by minimal repair and type 2 failures removed only by replacement. Two warranty policies involving an initial free service period followed by a pro-rata period are considered ; the difference is whether the warranty is renewed or not when type 2 failure occures during its free service period. Expected warranty costs under the two policies are obtained, and their behaviors are examined for the case where type 1 and 2 failure distributions are Weibull and exponential, respectively.
