In this paper, we have studied a design method to make Linux system enriched with a duplication facility. We have designed a duplication module which would be inserted into Linux. The design have to keep track of three foundations, such as fault detection, reconfiguration, a handling duplication data. To conclude, Linux duplication module is free put on a Linux kernel. so in the future, It can cope with a change in Linux duplication system flexiblely.

The (affine) development of a smooth curve in a smooth manifold M with respect to an arbitrarily given affine connection in the bundle of affine frames over M is well known (cf. S.Kobayashi and K.Nomizu, Foundations of Differential Geometry, Vol.1). In this paper, we get the generalized affine development of a smooth curve $x_t$ ($t{\in}[0,1]$) in M into the affine tangent space at $x_0$ (${\in}M$) with respect to a given generalized affine connection in the bundle of affine frames over M.

Settlements of maximum 23cm have occurred in and Apartment building consturcted on a fill layer with pile foundations. The main reason of the settlements was due to the negative skin friction applied to the pile, and settlement of adjacent ground since most pile tips are acted as a floating foundation founded on the stratum where the SPT N value was mostly less than 30. To underpin this building, the Jumbo Special Pile grouging was adopted, and instrumented data showed little differential settlement after the JSP underpinning.

Theoretical foundations of the knowledge management(KM) have been perceived still developing in the field. And, the literature shows many key success factors for KM, but, in more conceptual and abstract term. Companies interested in knowlege management demand for practical guidelines. Based on the constituent elements of KM, this study classifies key success factors identified from thirty three success cases, domestic and in other countries. Further, fifteen propositions are suggested and discussed for future research and project management in KM.

An exploration for an emotional intelligence paradigm has been delineated. Emotional intelligence is investigated in terms of composing machine as a modern abstract art. The system consists of interface, plan and performance modules. Design concepts of the system are modular, open, and user friendly to ensure the overall performance. The exploration of art in the view of intelligence, information and structure will restore the balanced sense of the art and the science seek the happiness of life. Whereas fault diagnosis has been the subject of intensive research since the 1970s, the design of fault tolerant systems is a recent research field which does not set its foundations in a unified framework and does not use a unified vocabulary. As a contribution to this special issue, this paper proposes an ontology for the problem of Fault Handling, that embeds the problem of Fault Tolerance.

This article describes the theoretical foundations of government policy for hospitals in terms of correcting market failure and enhancing equity. It then discusses the characteristics that desirable payment systems should have, and the effects of the DRG-based prospective payment system on hospital behavior, its financial performance, hospital industry, and health care expenditure. The rationales and impacts of other public policies for hospitals such as antitrust and fair trade regulation, dissemination of practice guidelines and hospital mortality information, regulation of hospital capital investment, and tax policy are also discussed.

Mathematics curriculum reform is very important, and it can be understood well by power. This paper uses the extended Foucault's power theory as foundations to view mathematics curriculum reform. The research's case is China's ongoing mathematics curriculum reform. Through analyzing the power relationships in China's ongoing mathematics curriculum reform, the paper thinks that power's balance is very important in mathematics curriculum design, because it will affect the designed curriculum.

This paper describes the performance design requirements of the slope and soft clay structures to confirm several contents of foundations systems to change existing design code to new one in the construction market.
