Development of Scheduler Based on Simulation for Phone Camera Lens Module Manufacturing System (폰카메라 렌즈모듈 제조시스템을 위한 시뮬레이션 기반의 스케줄러 개발)

  • Phone camera lens module is assembled with a barrel, multiple lenses, multiple spacers and a shield. The major processes of manufacturing system are injection molding, coating and assembly processes, and each process has multiple machines. In this paper, we introduce a scheduler based on simulation model which can be used for frequent rescheduling problem caused by urgent orders, breaking down of molds and failures of machines. The scheduling algorithm uses heuristic Backward-Forward method, and the objective is to minimize the number of tardy orders.

  • We propose an optimization method for PCB assembly lines including multiple surface mounters. To increase the productivity of PCB assembly line, the component allocation, feeder assignment, and assembly sequence of each surface mounter should be optimized. The optimization Problem is formulated as an integer programming problem. We divide the overall problem into two hierarchical sub-problems: forward-path problem and backward-path problem. The clustering algorithm and branch-and-bound algorithm are applied to solve the forward-path problem. The assignment algorithm and connection algorithm are applied to solve the backward-path problem. Simulation results are presented to verify the usefulness of the proposed method.

  • Remote-sensing optical payloads, especially hyperspectral imagers, have particular issues with stray light because they often encounter high-contrast target/background conditions, such as sun glint. While developing an optical payload, we usually apply several stray-light analysis methods, including forward and backward analyses, separately or in combination, to support lens design and optomechanical design. In addition, we often characterize the stray-light response over a full field to support calibration, or when developing an algorithm to correct stray-light errors. For this purpose, we usually use forward analysis across the entire field, but this requires a tremendous amount of computational time. In this paper, we propose a sequence of forward-backward-forward analyses to more effectively investigate the through-field response of stray light, utilizing the combined advantages of the individual methods. The application is an airborne hyperspectral imager for creating hyperspectral maps from 900 to 1700 nm in a 5-nm-continuous band. With the proposed method, we have investigated the through-field response of stray light to an effective accuracy of 0.1°, while reducing computation time to 1/17th of that for a conventional, forward-only stray-light analysis.

Motion Field Estimation Using U-disparity Map and Forward-Backward Error Removal in Vehicle Environment (U-시차 지도와 정/역방향 에러 제거를 통한 자동차 환경에서의 모션 필드 예측)

  • In this paper, we propose novel motion field estimation method using U-disparity map and forward-backward error removal in vehicles environment. Generally, in an image obtained from a camera attached in a vehicle, a motion vector occurs according to the movement of the vehicle. but this motion vector is less accurate by effect of surrounding environment. In particular, it is difficult to extract an accurate motion vector because of adjacent pixels which are similar each other on the road surface. Therefore, proposed method removes road surface by using U-disparity map and performs optical flow about remaining portion. forward-backward error removal method is used to improve the accuracy of the motion vector. Finally, we predict motion of the vehicle by applying RANSAC(RANdom SAmple Consensus) from acquired motion vector and then generate motion field. Through experimental results, we show that the proposed algorithm performs better than old schemes.

  • 돌발홍수 예경보시스템의 입력자료로 예측강우가 활용된다. 기상청과 환경부에서는 초단기 예보의 목적으로 MAPLE(McGill Algorithm for Precipitation nowcasting and Lagrangian Extrapolation)을 생산하고 있다. MAPLE은 선행 30분까지의 예측품질은 어느 정도 정확하다고 볼 수 있으나 그 이후 특히 3시간 이상이 되면 예측품질이 크게 떨어지는 문제가 있다. 예측강우의 편의보정을 위한 여러 시도들이 있었으나 호우의 규모 및 이동특성을 고려한 사례는 제한적이다. 호우의 이동특성을 고려해야하는 이유로는 첫째, 예측의 특성상 예측강우가 생성되고 편의보정이 이루어지는 시간 동안 호우는 이동을 하기 때문이다. 둘째, 호우가 이동을 하면서 편의보정의 대상이 되는 지역에 적합한 보정계수의 결정이 어렵기 때문이다. 마지막으로 돌발홍수는 장마와 같은 전선형 강수가 아닌 국지성 호우와 같이 빠르게 움직이며 강한 호우를 내리는 강수에 의해 발생하기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위해 호우의 이동특성을 고려하여 예측강우 보정계수를 결정하고 이를 예측강우에 실시간으로 적용할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 이 과정에서 Backward tracking은 미래에 호우가 도달할 지역(대상지역)으로부터 현재 호우가 위치하는 지역을 추적하는데 이용된다. 추적된 지역에서 보정계수가 결정된다. Forward tracking은 현재 호우가 위치하는 지역으로부터 대상지역을 다시 추적하는데 이용된다. 앞서 결정된 보정계수는 대상지역의 예측강우에 적용된다. 해당 방법론을 2019년에 발생한 주요 호우사상에 실시간 적용하고 평가하였다. 그 결과, Backward-Forward tracking 기반 예측강우 보정방법을 적용한 경우에는 실제 관측된 강우와 매우 유사한 보정결과가 도출됨을 확인되었다.

  • A realization for FF-PID(Feed-Forward PID) controlling system with backward propagation algorithm and image pattern recognition is presented in this paper. The pattern recognition used backward propagation of nervous network is teaming. FF-PID is enhanced the response characteristic of moving image by using the controlling value which is output error for the target value of nervous system. In conclusion of experiment, the system is shown that the response is worked as 2.7sec that is enhanced round 15% in comparison with general difference image algorithm. The system is able to control a moving object with effect.

  • A sweep-based heuristic using common area is developed for multi-vehicle VRPs under time various and unsymmetric forward and backward vehicle moving speed. One depot and 2 delivery vehicle are assumed in this research to make the problem solving strategy simple. A common area is held to make adjustment of possible unbalance of between two vehicle delivery completion times. The 4 time zone heuristic is used to solve for efficient delivery route for each vehicle. The current size of common area needs to be studied for better results, but the suggested problem solving procedures can be expanded for any number of vehicles.

  • We propose an adaptive monitoring a, pp.oach for serially correlated data. This algorithm uses the adaptive linear prediction lattice filter (ALPLF) which makes it compute process parameters in real time and recursively update their estimates. It involves computation of the forward and backward prediction errors. CUSUM control charts are a, pp.ied to prediction errors simulaneously in both directions as an omnibus method for detecting changes in process parameters. Results of computer simulations demonstrate that the proposed adaptive monitoring a, pp.oach has great potentials for real-time industrial a, pp.ications, which vary frequently in their control environment.

  • 지면에 가까이 있는 비행체나 수면에 가까이 있는 수중 운동체에서 도래하는 신호는 직접파와 반사파로 구성되어 있다. 그런 환경에서는 반사파가 직접파와 coherent한 관계를 갖는다. 이런 현상으로 해서 DOA추정을 위해 추정한 correlation 행렬이 singular한 성질을 갖게 된다. 이렇게 singular한 행렬은 DOA추정에 큰 오류를 내게 된다. 또 움직이는 대상의 경우 추정 correlation 행렬의 성질이 시간에 따라 변하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 위 두 상황을 함께 해결하기 위해서 PASTd알고리즘을 변형하여 Forward/Backward Variable forgetting factor를 도입한 PASTd알고리즘을 제안한다.

  • A sequence planning method is proposed to reduce the assembly time of gantey-type chip mounters with single head. The overall path of the chip mounter is divided into forward and backward path, and formulate the optimization problem is formulated as an transpoetation problem and an Euler's tour problem. The transportation alforithm is applied to find optimal backward path, and Euler's tour algorithm used to generate an assembly sequence. Simulation results are presented to verify the usefulness of the proposed method.
