  • The kidney diseases is a big social problem what is suffering sequela of metabolic syndrome due to obesity. Therefore, it is most important that early to take the appropriate action; it does not have symptoms Abnormalities of the kidney. With this, in mind, this paper wish to propose the method to can diagnosis by non self-consciousness, non-imprisonment, analgesia of kidney disease through the voice analysis. To configure the entire system is developed to combines the voice analysis, watching the face color and this paper is designed the method to diagnosis kidney disease based on labial. In this paper, organized each kidney disease patients and healthy people group and we would like to analyze, compare with output in experiment morphology analysis and numerical value analysis of voice information. Secondly, auscultation theory of Oriental medicine and linguistic, phonetics analyze out interrelation to extraction peculiar elements of kidney about voice deduction deduced relation of the first formants frequency. Such result of experimentation, deduced widely to be formed the first formants frequency bandwidth value of kidney patients group than normal group. Finally, diagnosing an kidney diseases in only labial sound, calculated about misdiagnosis probability.

  • Nasal sounds include nasalized vowels and consonants. Nasal cavity is important for the acoustics of nasal sounds. Evaluating the effects of site-specific nasal obstruction on nasal sound will help us to understand the importance of nasal geometry for the nasal sound and to foretell voice change after nasal surgery This study was designed to analyze the change of nasality and formant characteristics of nasal sound by obstructing different sites around the ostiomeatal unit(OMU). Ten adult male and female volunteers participated. The nasal formants and bandwidths of nasal consonant /n/ were checked in various conditions of nasal obstruction. The nasalance of rabbit, baby, and mama passages were compared in each conditions. Nasalance of all passages decreased when anterior portion of OMU was obstructed. Center frequency of first nasal formant(NF1) of /n/ has decreased in the order of anterior, inferior obstruction. The bandwidth of NF1 decreased in female with anterior obstruction. Anterior portion of OMU is most critical to the change of nasality and acoustics of nasal consonant. When anterior portion of OMU is obstructed, the shift of NF1 to a lower frequency and the narrowing of NF1 bandwidth are the major acoustic changes of nasal consonant /n/.

  • Stress has become one of the largest health risk to shorten the life time of health. Accordingly, in order to increase the life time of health, stress relief can be very important. Many social expenses and economic commitment have been inputted for this purpose, but their effectiveness compared to the current situation is not very high. In this paper, we carried out an identification work of rain sound which is similar to the white noise that can stabilize the body and mind of the person by analyzing the variations of 3rd formant frequency bandwidth. Also, for relieving stress, the sounds of rain that is easily accessible at a relatively among the sounds of nature instead of consuming a lot of money and time were selected for solving these problems. In addition, we identified the effectiveness of the stress relief about the sound of rain and research on whether there is a difference between men and women in their 20's or not was performed. Finally, we discussed the personal - adjusted rain making to maximize the effectiveness of stress relief.

  • Oriental medicine lacks diagnosis data in fixed quantity possible to express visually to patients by depending on clinician's intuition than Western medicine that continues to development by various diagnosis devices. For that, this paper intends to examine relation between heart and voice signal regarded as center organ and source of life and mind in order to implement objectification through the visualization of oriental diagnosis method above all. According to because the heart is related to the tongue among five organs, by thinking with sounds, we would design the way of identifying existence of heart diseases focused on the fact that lingual sound pronunciation of heart patient is inexact. For this, we achieved a comparison, analysis of statistical bandwidth and morphological modeling of the second formants frequency about a lingual sound for their voice constituted subject group of heart diseases and normal people. Finally, we analyzed interrelationship to the result of experiment by designed method.

  • In this paper, the influence analysis of food on human body organs is proposed by applying speech signal processing techniques. Until these days, most of researches regarding the influence of food on body organs are such that "A" ingredient of food may produce a good effect on "B" organ. However, the numerical and quantified researches regarding these effects hardly have been performed. This paper therefore proposes a method to quantify the effects by using numerical data, so as to retrieve new facts and informations. Especially, this paper investigates the effect of tomatoes on human heart function. The experiment collects samples of voice signals, before and after 5 minutes, 30 minutes and 1 hour, from 15 males in their 20s who have not abnormal heart function; the voice signal components are applied to measure changes of heart conditions to digitize and quantify the effects of tomatoes on cardiac function.
