Comparative study on methods to improve understanding of food information between Korea and China

  • In this study, we propose a scheme for providing the consumer of Korea and China with more effective information about the safety of the food to understand easily. Among these countries and consumers, we proposed the graphical displays to help you understand the factors disturbing to think of pesticide residues in common. In the form of a one-dimensional graphical display, whether to provide a safety-related information in the form of conventional foods character, as compared to the graph representation of the larger amounts of information than a two-dimensional character which easily measures the effect of promoting the understanding of the most appropriate information, were reviewed. As a result, in the case of Korea, text and graphs utilizing the standards of pesticide residues than the information provided in a one-dimensional form'Text + Graphics Display'to take advantage of the information provided with the relevant safety standards form the three was found that easy to show. On the other hand, Chinese, between the character and graph form with the advantage that the information providing service type information using the graphic display shown in one dimension could not see the difference between the evaluation and understanding.

A Study on the Usability of Digital Humans in New Media Contents

  • This thesis is a study of content development utilizing media outlets to date through digital humans. The trend of global content is that the video content industry, including the character business, is growing. Lil Michela, who was selected as one of the 25 most influential people on the Internet by Time magazine in 2018, Nasua, who appeared in a SK Telecom commercial, and Rosie, who appeared in a Shinhan Bank commercial, are representative. Digital humans, which are driving new content, are computer-generated human characters with various characteristics and are referred to as virtual humans, metahumans, and cyber humans. With the rise of the metaverse after COVID-19, digital humans are being utilized in various forms such as media and marketing as an element of visual content. In the form of media, we can see that the boundaries between the offline and digital worlds are converging, and in the form of marketing, we can see that digital humans connect consumers and products more naturally. In the form of interaction, it is possible to achieve two-way communication through various methods of operation, and through these factors, it is possible to go beyond behavioral communication in the form of memorialization to emotional communication through AI technology. What can be seen through these processes is that through the currently developing digital human production methods and AI functions, not only experts but also non-experts can create quality contents, and new directions of contents will appear, and contents that can provide immediate feedback by bringing consumers and creators closer together have been studied.

Derivation and Analysis of the BER Closed Form in the OFDM Communication System with IQ Imbalance

  • Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) is very useful for the wireless communication system. However, OFDM is very sensitive to the radio frequency impairments. One of the most important major impairments is the IQ imbalance between in-phase(l) and quadrature(Q) branches in the up and down-conversion. IQ imbalance can be divided into phase and amplitude imbalances. These imbalances make constellation of signal to expand and rotate. The performance of system is severely degraded. In this paper, a closed-form for the bit error probability of the OFDM signal in IQ imbalance environment is derived in terms of the function of phase and amplitude imbalance parameters. So, it will be convenient and useful to evaluate the performance of OFDM communication system with IQ imbalance. It is confirmed that computer simulation results closely match with the results of the analytical derivation. When phase imbalance $\varphi=20^{\circ}$, amplitude imbalance $\varepsilon=0.1$; 0.3; 0.4; 0.5, BER at $10^{-5}$ is severely degraded by 1.8 dB, 3.12 dB, 4.72, and 8.44 dB, respectively.

  • Known as "The Ninth Form of Art", video game is a form of hypermedia art rising in response to the rapid development of modern technology, with millions of fans worldwide. From the perspective of the game market, those games that have high stickiness and a long operating cycle usually have abundant doujin works. As a spontaneous behavior of the players, doujin culture reflects the players' feelings towards and perception of the games, and it reacts upon the original game while relying on it, exerting a far-reaching influence on the operation of game products. We try to analyze the influences of doujin culture on game operation performance, hoping to provide game operators with some useful ideas.

A Simple $N^{th}$ Best-Relay Selection Criterion for Opportunistic Two-Way Relay Networks under Outdated Channel State Information

  • The frequency spectrum available for the wireless communication is extremely crowded. In order to improve the spectral efficiency, the two-way relay networks have aroused great attention. A simple $N^{th}$ best-relay selection criterion for the opportunistic two-way relay networks is proposed, which can be implemented easily by extending the distributed timer technique in practice, since the proposed criterion is mainly based on the channel gains. The outage performance of the proposed relay selection scheme is analyzed under the outdated channel state information (CSI), and a tight closed-form lower bound and asymptotic value of the outage probability over Rayleigh fading channels are obtained. Simulation results demonstrate that the tight closed-form lower bound of the outage probability very closely matches with simulated ones in the whole SNR region, and the asymptotic results provide good tight approximations to the simulation ones, especially in the high SNR region.

웹 장르의 커뮤니케이션 체계 연구 (A study on the communication system of web genre)

  • 현재의 복잡한 커뮤니케이션 환경에서 장르의 융합현상 등 장르체계의 현상에 대한 인식이 효율적 커뮤니케이션 디자인의 지표가 될 수 있다. 장르는 예술분야에서 그 실체나 특성의 구분을 위해 적용되었던 개념으로 오늘날에는 다양한 커뮤니케이션 체계의 구조나 유형을 분석하기 위해 활용될 수 있다. 장르를 구분하기 위한 기준요소의 정의는 형태와 내용의 체계를 파악함으로써 이루어졌다. 그동안 새로운 커뮤니케이션 툴인 웹의 유형별 분류를 위해서 웹이 추구하는 목적에 따라 그 기준을 적용해 왔다. 본고에서는 커뮤니케이션 매체로써 웹의 유형분류를 위해 장르의 개념을 적용하여 웹 장르의 구성요소를 형태와 내용, 그리고 기능의 체계를 파악하였다. 형태와 내용에 의한 웹 장르의 특성을 정의함으로써 커뮤니케이션 차원의 웹 유형을 보다 명확하게 구분되도록 논하였다. 형태와 내용, 기능의 장르요소가 커뮤니케이션과정에서 상호 작용하는 이론적 체계를 정립해 보기 위해 기호와 기호대상, 해석체로 이루어지는 기호작용이론인 퍼스의 3항 기호론을 적용하였다. 기호자체는 웹의 고유 목적인 커뮤니케이션의 기능에 대입되고, 기호대상은 웹의 형태에 대입되고, 기호의 해석체에 해당하는 것은 의미의 발생과 작용을 하는 웹의 내용에 대입된다. 또한 기호는 기호대상을 정의하고 해석체에 의해 정의될 수 있으므로 이를 웹 장르 요소의 관계구조에 적용하면, 웹의 형태는 기능을 따르고, 기능은 웹의 내용을 따른다는 논리의 확장이 가능하다. 이러한 이론적 대입을 통하여 웹의 커뮤니케이션과정에서 장르요소가 체계를 가지고 의미작용을 한가는 개념이 정립되었다. 현재의 복잡한 커뮤니케이션 환경에서 장르의 융합 등, 장르체계의 현상에 대한 개념인식이 효율적 커뮤니케이션 디자인의 지표가 될 수 있을 것이다.

Evaluation on the Selective Combining for the Detection of M-ary DPSK Signals over Nakagami Fading Channels

  • The performances of M-ary DPSK(MDPSK) for diversity reception theoretically are derived, using an L-branch selection combining(SC) in frequency-nonselective slow Nakagami fading channels. For integer values of the Nakagami fading parameter m, An exact closed-form symbol error rate(SER) multichannel performance that can be easily evaluated via numerical integration is presented. Finally, we compare these analyses with numerical analyses with integral-form expressions for the performance of MDPSK signals under the effect of two-branch SC diversity over slow and nonselective Rician fading channels with additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN).

  • 주파수공용통신(TRS: Trunked Radio Service)이란 무선통신을 하는 사람이 특정한 주파수를 이용하던 종래의 무선통신방식과는 달리 중계소에 할당된 소수의 주파수를 다수의 이용자가 공동으로 사용하는 방식을 말한다. TRS 시스템의 가장 큰 특징은 일대 다수의 그룹 및 지령 통신방식이다. TRS 시스템의 구성은 여러 개의 그룹으로 구성되며, 각 그룹은 업무내용에 관련된 유사한 목적을 가진 사용자들의 단말기로 구성된다. 위와 같은 여러 목적에 따라 다양한 형태의 연결이나 그룹 통신이 이뤄질 경우, 여러 가지 형태의 공격에 노출될 수 있으며, 대규모 통신을 위한 키 분배 혹은 설정에 많은 문제점을 가질 수 있다. 본고에서는 TRS 상에서 안전한.통신을 수행하는데 있어 필수 요소인 그룹 키 분배방식을 고찰하며, 통신 횟수를 줄이면서도 참여자 인증을 수행할 수 있는 효율적인 그룹 키 분배 방식을 제안하였다.
