It is not an overstatement that nowadays electronic mails are communicated more frequently as well as conveniently than phones and facsimiles, not only in routine life hot also in business transactions. Also, it is evident that emails will be used more and more as a communication method between internal and external organizations. If the information transferred and received via emails takes a role of business records, it is no wonder that emails should be uniformly managed as public records. Currently, however, specific policies or guidelines for the management of email records are not available, nor do most of public employees realize that emails are the actual records of the organization. In fact, the three research methods have been used for this study in the purpose of the establishment of email records management scheme. First of all, bibliographic research has been conducted in an effort to describes the definition and types of email records indicated in the guidelines of each nation, as well as the differences from the transitory email messages. Secondly, email management guidelines and policies of public institutions of England, The United States, Australia, and Canada, so-called the advanced countries of the records management, have been analyzed to examine the advanced examples of email management. In order to manage email records effectively, the functional requirements - capture, classification, storage, access, tracking, disposition, and role and responsibility were categorized in this thesis, based on the ISO 15489. As the designs of these foreign guidelines vary one another, common factors of them were extracted to be included in the realm of the seven stages. Lastly, this thesis has analyzed characteristics of the email system within the Electronic Document Management System of existing administrative institutions. Also, it has examined the overall environment of the email records management of public institutions and sought out its improvement. In essence, focused on the crucial factors on email management drawn out from the email management guidelines of foreign nations and the analysis of the policies, this thesis proposes an email records management scheme for Korean public intuitions, as well as an email management model suitable for forthcoming e-government era.
This study investigates the effects of three types of person-environment fit, i.e. POF, PJF(ability) and PJF(needs), on effectiveness variables and the mediating effect of work motivation in SMEs. The data were collected from 211 employees who work for SMEs. Results of structural equation modeling(SEM) analyses demonstrated that PJF(ability) was significantly associated with task performance and turnover intention, while POF and PJF(needs) were significantly associated with turnover intention only. PJF(needs) and PJF(ability) have the positive impact on intrinsic motivation, PJF(ability) also has the positive impact on external and identified motivation. We also analysed mediating effects using Process macro. Results demonstrated that intrinsic motivation mediated the relationship between POF, PJF(needs), PJF(ability) and task performance. The relationship between PJF(ability) and task performance was mediated by external motivation. Based on the results, theoretical and practical implications are derived. Also suggested are methodological limitations and future research directions.
Port distripark can activate more functions. It is adjacent to a port. However, domestic port distripark is still limited to support port because of the shortage of infrastructure facilities, government policy, and investment. Therefore, this study tried to investigate the operation status of domestic port distripark and derive policy implications by conducting DEA analysis and productivity analysis based on internal data of each port distripark. As a result of Data Envelopment analysis, it was found that the west port distripark of Gwangwang and the northern port distripark of Incheon were efficient in the warehouse industry while the northern port distripark of Incheon and the Ulsan 1 port distripark were efficient in the manufacturing industry. In addition, in the case of foreign investment productivity, the west side port distripark of Gwangyang and the stage 1 port distripark of Pyeongtaek Dangjin were found to be higher than the others. In the case of facility investment productivity, the port distripark on the west side of Gwangyang and the north side of Incheon had the highest productivity. Lastly, in the case of labor productivity, the north side of Incheon and Busan ungdong port distripark showed the highest productivity. These results imply that it is important to review handling item when picking up enterprises in the port distripark for enhancing efficiency, foreign investment, and facility investment. The number of employees is not directly affecting the productivity improvement.

Hazardous organic solvents management as prescribed by presidential decree in Korea is reviewed. The status of import, manufacture, and circulation of organic solvents was investigated. Problems inherent in the management of organic solvents in the electroplating, metal degreasing, and dry cleaning industries were discussed. The chemical substance management system in Korea was compared to those of foreign organizations. A walk-through check list was developed and then used to assess the actual conditions and potential hazards of chemical substances in these industries. The questionnaire could be used to develop a chemical management system and protect workers from hazardous substances. Based on the results of the site survey, MSDSs were not integrated appropriately into the workers education and were not readily accessible to employees. In the case of the dry cleaning industry, the new dry cleaning solvent used as a substitute includes a lot of potentially hazardous organic solvents. This research is preliminary. It is recommended that a national survey be performed to better identify the current situation. Because chemical substances are regulated by thirteen laws in seven executive branches, management systems often overlap, resulting in ineffective control. Using the above results, a model for managing chemical substances was developed. This will more efficiently provide MSDS information to workers covered by the presidential decree and allow the construction of a management system database for better cooperation with the executive branches in Korea.
This study analyzed fashion businesses based on the 6P's, products, prices, place, promotion, people, and patron for business owners in the Myeongdong commercial fashion district. Furthermore, this study proposed plans that would activate the Myeongdong fashion district and continuously develop it as a global fashion city. A survey was conducted from August to September, 2012 for 249 fashion business owners in Myeongdong. Eventually, only 208 questionnaires were used for the analysis. The research results were as follows. First, domestic brands have the largest share in the market and sales of fashion accessories were higher than the sales of clothes. Second, the prices for those fashion items ranged from low to mid-price. Third, the opening of new shops keeps increasing, and the size of the shops falls between ten and twenty pyeong generally. 'Self-production' was the highest form of production compared to any other form, and regarding importation sites, importation from overseas was the highest. Fourth, regarding promotion types, the sales in shops was the most commonly used promotion method compared to television and magazine advertising, and personal selling. Fifth, the proportion of male proprietors was larger than that of female proprietors. Most employees had less than five years of sales experience. Sixth, the main customers were females in their 20s and the proportions of Korean and foreign customers was similar.
The purposes of this study were to: a) examine characteristics of foodservice management practices; b) investigate characteristics of recipients; c) analyze foodservice systems; and d) provide feedback for the efficient and effective foodservice management of mental disorder care sites in Korea. A total of 46 sites was analyzed by questionnaire survey. Statistical data analysis was completed using the SPSS package program for descriptive analysis. As results of site recipients' characteristics, 60% of total sites were males and 40% were female recipients. Average 60% of recipients were from 30 to 40 years old. Major diseases of recipients were mental disorder, high pressure, and obesity. According to the result of foodservice system analysis, the average meal cost per day was about 2,921 won and average food cost percentage was 39%. Average number of meals per day was about 600 meals. All sites had on dietitian and 88.3% of sites had one cook as a full-time employees. In the part of procurement, dietitians were major chargers of sites for purchasing foods. Major purchasing method was the order and delivery contract. About a half of sites used cycle menu system and standardized recipies. Most of sites had recipients survey systems for evaluating meal satisfaction. About 60% of sites provided liquid diets to recepients and 22% provided diabetic diets. Dietitians at sites had problems on low meal cost budget, lack of cooking professionals, and lack of information about treatment meals for mental disorders for providing higher quality of foods cure recipients. The results suggested that financial and systematical supports by the government would be very necessary to meet the goal of nutritional balanced meal services.

Uganda is a country blessed with the biggest number of mountain Gorillas in the whole world. These animals contribute at least 12% in revenue generation to the Tourism sector through tracking by both local and foreign tourists who pay for the tracking permits. However, Gorilla tracking is also a big challenge even in the presence of highly skilled and well-trained game rangers. Development and implementation of a secure Computer and Mobile based Gorilla Tracking (GT) system that uses GIS and GPS technologies would be the most ideal technology to use. Therefore, this study aimed to find out the critical factors that would affect the Behavioral Intention of the would-be users to successfully decide to use such GIS/GPS-GT system. We used the existing UTAUT model to integrate six factors such as Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Employee Peer Influence, Facilitating Conditions, Behavioral Intention and System Use. However, Infrastructure Availability and Non-Technical Facilitating Conditions were added to reflect Ugandan ICT context. This amended UTAUT model was used to carry out the survey. The questionnaire was emailed to 220 government employees in the fields of ICT, Tour and Travel, Environmental Groups officials and Farmers who garden near the game reserves. A total of 133 were obtained fully completed, whereas 127 were deemed usable thus yielding a response rate of 58%. The analysis results show that except for non-technical facilitating conditions, effort expectancy, peer influence, performance expectancy and infrastructure availability positively affects behavioral Intention to use GIS/GPS-GT. This indicates that people in Uganda don't bother about regulations and rules in regard to using information system. As long as the system does what they want it to, anything else does not matter. As an employee in an organization is told to use a system by their supervisor, they have no objection to otherwise they risk losing their job. This implies that, supervisors have a great responsibility in the process of developing, implementing and using the system in Uganda.
The aim of this study is develop a state-funded education and training curriculum to contribute to the development of the fashion industry infrastructure. This will be achieved based on the service sector by the competitive clothing sales personnel and fashion startups. The study was conducted using a qualitative research method. The participants were 20 representatives of fashion-related companies and employees from one traditional market and two fashion outlets in Seogu, Gwangju. Data was collected from September 2015 to January 2017 by demand surveys and in-depth interviews. These were conducted on the same day at each clothing store office. In addition, existing literature was also reviewed. The collected data were first summarized into 64 meaning units from which three themes were derived by arranging, classifying, and analyzing the data. The findings of the study are as follows. First, the education and training curriculum for fashion job creation is aimed at job-oriented field-types with the objective of cultivating professional skills for online to offline fashion professionals. Second, the curriculum for fashion advisors was developed to consisted of 8 courses of 150 hours, including job knowledge, a foreign language, fashion-specific knowledge, fashion marketing & VMD, store management know-how, clothing repair, field trip, and internship. Third, the curriculum for fashion entrepreneurs consisted of 8 courses of 106 hours, including entrepreneurship, fashion practice, startup, field trip, finance & taxation accounting, marketing, social enterprise course, and internship.
This research tried to examine how the love style is changed as the psychological tendency specifying individual personality types that other domestic and foreign researches have overlooked all this while. The subjects of this study were the college students and white and blue-collar employees. The instruments used in this study were the Love Attitude Scale and the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator). When applying the MBTI and the Love Attitude Scale, 474 people were analyzed. To get the result, the data from the survey were processed by the statistical program, SPSS/PC$^+$. Specifically, the statistical methods employed in this study were frequency, percentile, mean, standard deviation, factor analysis and chi-square. The major findings are as follows: 1. The most frequent love style among single men and women in this study was the Eros (46.6%). The next frequent love style was the Storge (40.3%). The Ludus occupied the least portion (13.1%) among single men and women. 2. The personality types over 10% among 16 personality types of MBTI were ISTJ (Introverted Sensing Type) (19.4%), ESTJ (Extroverted Sensing Type) (13.1%), and ISTP (Introverted Thinking Type) (12.4%). 3. As a result of observing the relationship of the love stymie and the psychological tendency among single men and women, the love style was found to have relationship with TF preference (Judgement function) and JP preference (Life Style). However, there were no relationships with the love style and EI preference (focus of Energy), SN preference (Perception Function).

With the COVID-19 pandemic being prolonged, the society is being converted into an untact society, thereby affecting the service methodology of domestic and foreign library systems. This study thus surveyed the librarians' awareness of COVID-19 response measures of public libraries, and proposed public libraries' response measures in situations where the novel infectious disease is spreading and prolonging. Specifically, the proposed measures include, first, preparing national-centered library countermeasures to jointly respond to the epidemic disease, second, strengthening various untact and online services of various public libraries through government-level budget support, third, a thorough prevention of epidemics and preemptive response from the viewpoint of employees and users, and fourth, the expansion of library services aimed at resolving the digital cultural divide among classes of people, including information unfairness.
