뉴질랜드 생태관광프로그램에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Ecotour Programmes in New Zealand)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 해외지역연구의 맥락 속에서 생태관광이 발달한 뉴질랜드를 대상으로 생태관광프로그램의 특성을 고찰하여 우리 나라 생태관광에 대한 정책적 시사점을 찾는 것이다. 이를 위하여 생태관광의 이론적 기초를 바탕으로 뉴질랜드 전역에 대한 각종 문헌자료를 검토하고, 생태관광프로그램 사례연구에 대해서는 직접 현장을 방문하여 관찰하고 면접조사를 실시하였다. 사례연구지역으로는 Waitomo Caves, Kauri Community. Wildlifes of Otago Peninsular, Whakarewarewa Maori Village, Milford Track 등이다. 뉴질랜드의 생태관광프로그램들은 일반적으로 지역주민에 의해 조직되며, 입장 인원제한, 정해진 시작시간, 잘 준비된 지역주민의 주도적 활동(가이드 포함)을 포함한다. 대부분의 생태관광활동은 환경보전적이고 교육적 효과를 위해 개발되어 온 프로그램이다. 뉴질랜드의 사례연구들은 한국의 생태관광과 환경정책을 성공적으로 이끄는 좋은 모델을 제시해 줄 것이다.

주민참여를 통한 항만형 도시재생사업의 활성화 방안 - 부산 북항재개발사업을 중심으로 - (Activation of Harbor City Renovation Projects based on Residents Participation: Case Study of Busan North Harbor Redevelopment Project)

  • 본 연구는 부산시의 북항재개발사업을 사례로 항만형 도시재생사업에서 주민참여 방안과 효과적인 주민참여를 위한 도시마케팅 방안을 분석하고, 이를 통해 도시재생사업의 활성화 방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 우선, 설문결과를 보면, 북항재개발사업의 주민참여 방안으로는 여론조사, 공론조사, 시민자문위원회의 타당성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 주민의견수렴이 가장 필요한 단계로는 최종 대안을 선택하는 단계로 나타났다. 사업단계별로 적절한 시민의견 수렴방법으로는 시민의 가치관 판단 단계에서는 여론조사가, 나머지 모든 단계에서 전문가위원회를 가장 적절한 방법으로 나타났다. 둘째로, 주민참여의 활성화를 위한 도시마케팅 방안을 보면, 도시마케팅의 주체는 지방자치단체가, 도시마케팅의 과제로는 도시 공간 질 향상과 같은 인프라 요소가 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 도시마케팅 방안으로는 항만도시로서의 이미지를 부각하고 외국인 관광객 대상으로 홍보하는 것이 적절한 것으로 나타난다. 결론적으로 효과적인 주민참여와 도시마케팅을 통해, 지역의 특성을 살리면서 다른 경쟁지역과의 차별적인 창조적 개발 방안이 도출됨으로 항만형 도시재생사업이 활성화될 것으로 판단된다.

목포각국공동거류지(木浦各國共同居留地)의 도시공간(都市空間)의 형성과정(形成過程)에 관한 고찰(考察) (A Study on the Process of the Urban Form in the Foreign Settlement at Mokpo)

  • This thesis is a historical research about the Foreign Settlement at Mokpo as the fourth among the Open Ports which express the historical characters of Korean Modern, as a city which did not exist before the Korean Modern. So I analyzed positively the process of establishment and the process of urban form during the period which contained the characters of Concession, from 1897 to 1910. Even though the urban basic form of the Foreign Settlement at Mokpo was planned by Korean Goverment, it's townscape was changed to Japanese style by Japanese since Mokpo port was opened. Because it had settled by Japanese residents which had majority. But I found that the urban form was not composed by the Modern urban planning theory or method, but by the existing conditions such as topography and roads. The center in the settlement had shifted from the front region of Japan Consulate to the East region which was in the vicinty of Korean village. And also former internal oriented urban form had changed to the relevant composition with Korean village. All the changes in the Foreign Settlement at Mokpo was made by the Japanese which had majority, and it is a good example which expresses Korean Modern history.

  • Since the middle of 1990's, domestic apartment building suppliers have set up brand images to overcome the difficulties in financial situation after IMF foreign exchange crisis. The main trends in recent apartment buildings could be classified generally into several types, such as 'Ubiquitous Intelligent(standing for High-tech)', 'Walkable Community(community-friendly)', 'Eco-friendly', 'Ergonomic Humanity(Human Engineering)', 'e-easy Home through Internet(Digital Home)'. With those brand images, construction enterprises have been making inroads into local apartment markets, especially one of the region around Dae-gu. It is meaningful and worth researching and analyzing the local residents' preferences and tendencies to form marketing strategies of brand images. Here, this research and analysis is of pre-examination before getting down the study of this subject.

초고층 아파트 거주 아동의 건강성 조사연구 (A Study of the Children's Health in Super-Highrise Apartments)

  • Though super-highrise apartment buildings have become increasingly widespread, their negative effects on the residents have not been investigated sufficiently and practically in domestic situations. In particular, the foreign discussion on residential environment and the residents' health can not be applied domestically due to physical or cultural differences including physical residential space structure and life-style. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the inter-relationship between residence in super-highrise apartments and their residents' health, to reveal the problems which exist. for this purpose, a parental-response health evaluation - questionnaire on children's physical, emotional and behavioral characteristics was given to a total of 336 persons. The health of the children living in super-highrise apartments is evaluated to be good, and is related to what floor of the apartment building people live on. It is represented that the higher the story, the better the children's health. However, there is no meaningful difference according to various evaluation items including the frequency and type of disease, emotional health, behavioral characteristics, etc. Therefore, it cannot be said that children's health shows no meaningful differences depending on what floor they live on. The parents dwelling on higher floors of the building display a more careful educational attitude. This is because they feel anxious about the children's safety as shown by the fact they live on higher stories.

국제이주민들을 위한 작은도서관의 역할과 기능: 안산시 단원구 원곡동 다문화작은도서관 운영사례연구 (The Role and Function of Small Community Library for Foreign Immigrants: the Case Study of Multicultural Library at Wongok-dong, Danwon-gu, Ansan-si)

  • 최근 한국사회는 국제이주민들의 수가 증가하면서, 사회전반 전문분야의 문화다양성 수용에 대한 관심이 높아졌다. 한국도서관계에서도 다문화서비스 운영방안에 대한 다양한 모색들이 이루어져 왔고, 이에 많은 연구물들은 공공도서관의 다문화서비스 운영에 대한 모델과 발전방안을 제시해왔다. 본 연구는 도서관 이용자 약 90%가 국제이주민인 안산다문화작은도서관의 운영사례를 분석하여 국제이주민을 위한 공공작은도서관의 역할과 기능은 무엇이어야 하는지를 살펴보고자한다. 안산다문화작은도서관은 이주민의 정착과 적응을 돕는 교육공간과 지역주민의 상호이해를 바탕으로 선주민과 이주민의 사회통합을 이루어 가는 공간으로서, 이렇게 두 가지 기능을 담당하고 있다. 궁극적으로 이 연구는 구체적인 운영사례연구를 통하여 지역의 작은도서관이 이주민들과 지역사회에 얼마나 효율적으로 중요한 기능을 담당할 수 있는지 그 가치와 의의를 보여주고자 한다. 또한 그럼에도 불구하고 겪는 여러 어려움과 한계를 제시하며 이를 해결하기 위한 현실적인 방안을 모색하고자 한다.

미얀마 개발사업 추진시 토지권리 확보방안 : 외국인투자 및 토지제도를 중심으로 (Securing Land Rights in Myanmar Development Project : Focusing on Foreign Investment and Land System)

  • Despite the longing for democracy of most people, Myanmar has missed opportunities for social and economic development by military dictatorship. However, since 2010, the civilian government has gained new opportunities for reform. After turning to economic reform, developed countries such as the US and EU lifted the economic sanctions that they had taken in the past. As a result, it is growing rapidly compared to neighboring countries due to attracting foreign capital, tariff benefits on export items, and expansion of industrial infrastructure. Despite the increased investment value due to economic growth and democratization, the complex and customary land system of Myanmar must be an uneasy factor in securing stable land rights when entering overseas markets. Therefore, this study sought the method of securing the land rights in the development project through the analysis of the foreign investment system in Myanmar and the investigation of joint development cases. The results of this study are as follows. First, the acquisition of land use rights at the early stage of development can be considered through the foreign investment system. Under the Foreign Investment Law and Myanmar Investment Law, the land can be used for up to 70 years, and Under the Special Economic Zone Law, the land can be used for up to 75 years. Second, in relation to land compensation, it is required to establish a detailed resettlement plan for the indigenous people as the difficulty of land acquisition is expected due to the recent democratization trend and strengthening the voice of residents. Third, land use at the operational stage can be achieved by leasing the land from developers, and this will be the most realistic plan at present. In other words, the developer can directly develop the land created under the Foreign Investment Law and the Special Economic Zone Law, or Sub-lease and transfer the land use right to a third party.

농촌마을종합개발사업에 있어 주민참여 실태와 성과에 관한 연구 - 전남농촌마을을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Actual Situation and Performance of Residents Participation in the Comprehensive Development Project of Rural Villages - Focused on the Jeonnam Rural Village -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the actual situation of residents' participation in rural development projects, to identify their performance and problems, and suggest ways to develop desirable villages in rural areas. From reviewing relevant pre-studies, this study was done by interview, questionnaire, and observation targeting 140 leaders and residents of exampled village of the project in Jeollanam-do, as well as by listening opinions of relative experts. This study is largely classified into 4 parts, review of character and appearing background of village development project, review of theoretical discussion about residents' participation, evaluation of accomplishments and analysis of participation, and establishing a model for habitants-participating village development project and how to improve it. As a result of questionnaire, it was found urgent for habitants to convert their thinking about village development and their participation in it, to realize a model of this project, as well as political stimulus to promote that. Therefore, measures must be required to improve current village development projects and to promote them. First of all, a preparation period is required to sufficiently provide the village where habitants are willing to participate in, from the state of place selection. Besides, it is required to run away from profit-making businesses aiming at foreign people, to improvement of residents' welfare in a long term, and enhanced resources management in a broad view. Waste of working expenses seems to be solved through direct operation by a corporation in charge of profit-making businesses, under superstition of residents' community. Finally conclusion, expansion and practicalization of education to residents are essential, to promote their participation in rural development projects. Especially it must be practical education for habitants such as 'community-ship' or 'technology education in each interesting part,' rather than tour of other villages and unilateral lectures from experts. Along with this, a long term plan and systematic participation is more essential. Since planning itself can be mutual learning to enhance residents' capacity, a chance must be established to discuss and plan each part including resources-research, by making them participate in.

  • 코로나바이러스감염증-19(COVID-19) 발생이후 항만으로 입항하는 외국선박의 외국인 선원을 통해 지역감염이 확산되었다. 그러나 항만 인근에는 지역주민들의 반발로 임시생활시설 지정에 큰 어려움을 겪고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 항만에서 외국인 선원을 통한 코로나 바이러스 감염확산 방지를 위해 항만구역 내에 외국인 선원을 위한 전용 부유식 임시생활시설을 계획하는 것이 목적이다. 부유식 임시생활시설 계획의 구체적인 내용으로 입지선정, 시설규모계획, 유닛시설계획, 유닛시설 조합계획을 제시하였다. 향후 항만구역 내 부유식 임시생활시설은 제1급감염병 확산방지에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

한국농촌의 다문화사회의 특징 (A Study on the Traits of Multicultural Society of Rural Areas in Korea)

  • The objectives of this study were to study multicultural society of rural areas in Korea. USA immigration law permits permanent settlement but Korea immigration law prohibits permanent settlement. USA adopted the territorial principle but Korea adopted the personal(nationality) principle. So a large number of people immigrated and settled in USA and mass(collective) immigrants is usual in USA. But foreign workers(temporary immigration) and international marriage women(individual immigrants) is usual in Korea. According to the positive law, foreign workers cannot settle down in Korea. So international marriage women immigrants are main cause of multicultural society in rural areas in Korea. This is the particularity of multicultural society in rural areas in Korea. So it is necessary to differentiate multicultural society policy according to areas and residents. Many peoples see multicultural society from a point of view of human rights and welfare. But it is also necessary to see multicultural society from a point of view of economic and policy.
